Bush Sits Down With Oprah

Bush has sat down with Oprah to discuss his presidency and his book, "Decision Points."

He tells Oprah he was upset they didn't find WMD's but, they did. They didn't find the stock piles but, they did find mustard and serin gas.

Iraqi Scientist: You Will Find More

Gazi George, a former Iraqi nuclear scientist under Saddam's regime, told Fox News he believes many similar weapons stockpiled by the former regime were either buried underground or transported to Syria. He noted that the airport where the device was detonated is on the way to Baghdad from the Syrian border.
George said the finding likely will be the first in a series of discoveries of such weapons.

"Saddam is the type who will not store those materials in a military warehouse. He's gonna store them either underground, or, as I said, lots of them have gone west to Syria and are being brought back with the insurgencies," George told Fox News. "It is difficult to look in areas that are not obvious to the military's eyes.
"I'm sure they're going to find more once time passes," he continued, saying one year is not enough for the survey group or the military to find the weapons.

Saddam, when he was in power, had declared that he did in fact possess mustard-gas filled artilleries but none that included sarin.

"I think what we found today, the sarin in some ways, although it's a nerve gas, it's a lucky situation sarin detonated in the way it did ... it's not as dangerous as the cocktails Saddam used to make, mixing blister" agents with other gases and substances, George said.

They have said the gas was improperly stored but, what the hell does that matter? The man had weapons and wouldn't let inspectors into the country. It's not like we've been able to search every single nook and cranny. His own scientist said that we'd find more.

I'm sorry. I think Bush is doing a poor job at explaining this but, at the same time, half these people on Oprah or the left in general, are such anti-thinking individuals, they probably wouldn't be able to understand anyway.

The former president said he still feels "sick about" the fact no weapons of mass destruction were found in Iraq. His response to Hurricane Katrina could have been quicker, he said, and he should have landed Air Force One two days after the storm instead of viewing the destruction through the plane's window. And he said he didn't see the financial meltdown coming.

I just feel like the media has pressured this man into saying a lot of things that are simply not fair. I have always stuck up for Bush during Katrina. It is the state of Louisiana's fault. Other states have gotten hit with disaster and nobody else behaved the way they did during Katrina. It's just preposterous.

If he wants to apologize, he should be apologizing for spending like a drunken Kennedy (that's my new phrase)! He should be apologizing for not being conservative enough. Why isn't he apologizing to his base? The ACTUAL people that voted for him? The people that stood up for him? Instead he's groveling to the loser liberals that insulted him and, basically spat in his face for 8 years?

The former president appeared Tuesday in a taped episode of "The Oprah Winfrey Show." Writing the memoir, he said, "was an easy process" that has kept him busy.

"A lot of people don't think I can read, much less write," Bush joked on the program.
This is what I mean. Don't give them more fodder. Only a total moron would think you can't read or write.

All these people that laughed at Bush, saying he's stupid...half of them didn't even graduate from high school, let alone be able to attend an Ivy League school and graduate -- with higher grades than other unnamed democrats.

Who cares what those idiots think, Bush? Seriously. He should be on Limbaugh, Savage, O'Reilly, Medved, Beck, ect. The shows who's hosts and audience members who were respectful of Bush and his presidency. Certainly, we all don't agree all the time but, going on the likes of Oprah to apologize?

What do you think?
