According to this article (click title), Gore Vidal is predicting that the US will have a dictatorship soon.

(Vidal first flew and landed a plane when he was 10.) He was a screenwriter for MGM in the dying days of the studio system, toyed with being a politician, he has written 24 novels and is hailed as one of the world’s greatest essayists.
In this recent interview, Vidal admits to originally supporting Obama instead of Hilary but, now regrets this decision saying that Obama is doing, "dreadfully."
Vidal goes on to discuss his disdain for the war on terror and how what Obama is doing in Afghanistan is a failure, just like everything else we've done in the Middle East.
He says that he doesn't like, "LIARS" and that, "Obama is not a liar!" ?!?!
Is he kidding me? He then makes some absurd remark about McCain, "We know the fool from Arizona [as he calls John McCain] is a liar. We never got the real story of how McCain crashed his plane [in 1967 near Hanoi, North Vietnam] and was held captive.”
A man serves his country and is held captive and you are going to insult him that way? Really? Where were you when John Kerry was telling his tales of woe during the election, when he spoke of Viet Nam?
He continues to go into the very tired and boring old, "Republicans are evil," "They're fascists!" and, "like Hitler." Oh, my...how original Mr. Vidal!
Even better, he criticizes Obama for failing at being able to pass health care reform.
I didn't know much about this man at all before I read this article. As the man's story unfolded and his view and opinions became more apparent, I realized the man was absolutely off his rocker!
He says, "...America has “no intellectual class” and is “rotting away at a funereal pace. We’ll have a military dictatorship fairly soon, on the basis that nobody else can hold everything together. Obama would have been better off focusing on educating the American people. His problem is being over-educated. He doesn’t realise how dim-witted and ignorant his audience is. Benjamin Franklin said that the system would fail because of the corruption of the people and that happened under Bush.”
Oh, yes, it wouldn't be fun for a liberal to talk about politics if they couldn't throw Bush under the bus. He only further proves what a classic psycho he is by claiming of Timothy McVeigh, the man that blew up the Alfred P. Murrah Building in Oklahoma City in 1995 killing 168 people, “He was a true patriot, a Constitution man."
Wow. So, it makes you wonder a few things...how does a man like this live his life all these years and not have the slightest clue what reality is and, if Obama can't please a man that is this far left on the spectrum, what hope is there for his change? Obama should just give it up already! Seriously.

Being a Racist
Well, apparently, I'm a racist. Jimmy Carter told me and it seems like everyday, I am hearing liberal after liberal tell the American people that if you disagree with Obama, you don't disagree with his politics, you just are a hateful racist.
Yet, I don't really care about race. I think it's great we have a half black, half white president in office! In fact, that's the only thing I like about him. However, people still insist that someone like me falls under the class of a teabagger, a racist, and a redneck.
What I find with most white liberals, is that it's almost like a damn trophy for them to have a black friend. Who cares what color your friends are? Why does it even matter? Then, when you see them around black folks, they act totally different. It's a condescending racism! It's bizarre; they treat people almost better than they would if that person were white and you can tell that the blacks are just laughing at how stupid they are...it's embarrassing.
Just treat people how they treat you. End of story. I find I get a lot more respect that way, myself. Some of my black friends don't like my politics but, they know I'm not going to treat them funny, or different because of their race. They know I just don't care what color they are.
For the past several days, I've spent time debating liberals (hence my absence from blog writing), about the topic of health care. I actually had a woman question me as to what "type of Christian" I must be for not wanting health care?
How can the people that claim to be so tolerant, respectful, and never judge, be the absolute first in line to question someone's relationship with their G-d by asking such a horrific question?! Could you imagine if a conservative had asked a liberal such a thing? I think that would have made national news if the tables were reversed.
It just absolutely amazes me that so many people want to hand over to the government decisions, as personal as medical care, when evidence of government failure is all around them, i.g. schools, Post Office, DMV, ect. People complain about these services more than anything yet, somehow, they are going to run health care better?

I do not understand how anyone could possibly think this is okay. Expressing that the president is "number one"? Excuse me, he works for US! Why are the children not being taught that, yes, they should have respect for their elders but, to worship a president is wrong. Singing a song and praising the president is a form of worship. This is just another example of why liberals have a mental disorder. At first she says it was self defense, but then goes into an explanation saying she, "laid some groundwork," by going and telling people she was abused. Interesting indeed.

ACORN Scandal continues...
It seems a third video has been leaked that details the same woman and man going to an ACORN office, this time in Brooklyn, posing as a pimp and prostitute. Now, I think they mean Brooklyn, NY but, there is a Brooklyn, MD...and I lived there!!!! Yeah!
So, again, we can see ACORN employees telling people, who are clearly admitting to doing something illegal, how to cheat on their taxes! I don't understand how they are still allowed to receive any government funds when they continue to be involved in scandal after scandal. They should be ashamed of themselves. Who are these people? What rock did they crawl out under of that they think this is okay? None of these folks on any of these videos seem to have any morals whatsoever.

My Asthma
I just want to take the time to bitch about the jerks in our government that decided they needed to take CFC's out of inhalers. What the hell?! First of all, we make up about five percent of the world's population and an even smaller number of us have asthma. So, because some tree hugger, like Al Gore, I'm sure, thinks that CFC's are destroying the planet, the people in our government decided they needed to write a law about taking CFC's out.
I can't believe this. My inhaler USED to work! It used to cost twenty dollars. I used to go through an inhaler about a month and a half. Now, I go through an inhaler every two weeks and it now costs forty dollars!
Now, the government wants to control all of medical care? Are you kidding me? I'll be dead. I have nightmares about this. I'm not kidding you. I'm scared to go to bed sometimes because, my asthma has gotten so bad and I'm having the worst attacks lately. I don't smoke, I'm not around people that smoke...what the hell is going on?
I'm not some conspiracy theorist but, this is bothering me. Why would the government do this? They knew the drug companies would charge more because, they have to completely reformulate everything!
So, awhile back, I went to my doctor and he gave me Advair. This is great! It's amazing. I don't even have to use my other inhaler but, I lost my insurance and the damn thing cost about a hundred dollars. Well, I had to stop and after I did, I had the absolute WORST asthma attacks. I literally thought I was going to die a few times. Let me just say, my work here is NOT done and G-d let me know by keeping me here. I was just paralyzed and not able to breathe, not able to catch my breath, not wheezing, just a complete tightening of my lungs. It was horrifying. There is something wrong with that Advair...something deadly. I have a crappy intuition but, when I get a feeling, RARELY this happens, it's usually dead on.

As many of you know, today is my birthday. I really don't like that fact because, well, I like celebrating my birthday. I think it's a fun day ...well, I used to. 9/11 in the year of 2001 changed all that.
It's not that I am feeling sorry for myself, it's just that it may come across that way and I don't like that either.
So, what happened on this day, for me? I got up to go to school. My first class wasn't scheduled until later so, I woke up to watch Fox and Friends. I love that show and I watched it every morning. So, it was a normal day and, I went into the bathroom to brush my teeth, and I heard something like, "Breaking News...the World Trade Center is on fire...it could be a bomb...we don't know." I rushed out to see what was going on and then, they started saying that it was a cargo plane that ran into the side of the building, that some small aircraft was off course, then the phone rang...it was my now ex, who was at work, he wanted to know if I was watching the news. I told him yes, and he mentioned that he thought it was terrorism. I really didn't want to believe him and then, I see another plane...another plane hit the second building.
By this time, I am freaking out. I don't know what to think. I'm just sitting there watching, crying, seeing people jump to their death, watching a movie almost but, it's not; it's real.
So, those buildings burned for what seemed like an eternity and I started looking at the buildings and I could see them buckle and you could hear this noise, this creaking, you could tell that those buildings were going to come down. Just as I was thinking that for a few moments, it happened. The first building went tumbling down, then later the second. I didn't know what to do. I knew people that were in NY at the time. There was no getting through to anyone, they already said people couldn't get through. There were other planes missing...it was just so much, too much. I couldn't keep track of what was going on.
People running, screaming, just pure chaos. I didn't know what to do, what to think. I decided I should go to school. I figured, I was hoping that there were people I could talk to, that we could all talk about what was happening. I was listening to the radio, on the way. I had to park my car and take a shuttle over to the campus, I had my radio in my ear, listening to the broadcast, trying to make sense of what was going on. I felt as if I was in my own world.
I went to class and the teacher wanted to act like nothing happened. She didn't want to talk about it. Most the class did but, again, it was just weird. I couldn't handle this. I walked out. I went to my next class after some time and it was chemistry. I remember I still left my radio in my ear...I was freaking out over the coverage that was going on. I got up and another student followed me. I was so upset and crying. I felt hopeless. I went back in the classroom and tried to finish up the class.
After that class, a lot of the students gathered in the lobby area of the building where the tv was fixed on CNN. We all stood there watching the coverage and they showed some Palestinians celebrating. I was disgusted by their reaction. I said, "We should bomb the crap out of them assholes." I was met with defiance, another girl said, "You can't just do that. You can't just bomb them." Of course, I have a big mouth but, I kept it quite uttering, "Why not?" I just rolled my eyes and walked away, out the door.
I immediately saw a girl talking on her cell phone, "I'm going out tonight, mom! I don't care. Whatever, it's not here, it's in New York. I don't understand the big deal." I wanted to punch her. All around me, it seemed as if no one even knew what was going on. People were just going about their days as if nothing happened. "Do you know what is going on? We were attacked!!! People are dying!" I wanted so much to scream in their faces! I decided it's best for me to just go home. I did so.
I continued to watch as much coverage as I possibly could, flipping through channels, CNN, Fox, ABC, NBC, anything...anything I could find to tell me what was going on. I found out more about the Pentagon and the other plane that went down.
Well, I did end the night going out. My ex took me to a restaurant. It was really nice, it was just tainted and sad. I had lost my mother earlier this same year. I was just pitiful at this point.
I went to school the next day however, blasting this from my car stereo. I'm sure you can tell what part I like.

I got up and another student followed me. I was so upset and crying. I felt hopeless. I went back in the classroom and tried to finish up the class.
After that class, a lot of the students gathered in the lobby area of the building where the tv was fixed on CNN. We all stood there watching the coverage and they showed some Palestinians celebrating. I was disgusted by their reaction. I said, "We should bomb the crap out of them assholes." I was met with defiance, another girl said, "You can't just do that. You can't just bomb them." Of course, I have a big mouth but, I kept it quite uttering, "Why not?" I just rolled my eyes and walked away, out the door.
I immediately saw a girl talking on her cell phone, "I'm going out tonight, mom! I don't care. Whatever, it's not here, it's in New York. I don't understand the big deal." I wanted to punch her. All around me, it seemed as if no one even knew what was going on. People were just going about their days as if nothing happened. "Do you know what is going on? We were attacked!!! People are dying!" I wanted so much to scream in their faces! I decided it's best for me to just go home. I did so.
I continued to watch as much coverage as I possibly could, flipping through channels, CNN, Fox, ABC, NBC, anything...anything I could find to tell me what was going on. I found out more about the Pentagon and the other plane that went down.
Well, I did end the night going out. My ex took me to a restaurant. It was really nice, it was just tainted and sad. I had lost my mother earlier this same year. I was just pitiful at this point.
I went to school the next day however, blasting this from my car stereo. I'm sure you can tell what part I like.

Well, rule number one about living in Baltimore, you must know that the city is just full of corruption. What I don't understand is, I thought the president was to serve us, the people. What in the world has sent the people in Hollyweird this far over the edge? What on G-d's green earth are they thinking? Demi Moore directed this piece and that bothers me. I knew she wasn't conservative but, I always respected her. She was once the queen of the brat pack, dating all the hotties of the 80's, being her sexy self effortlessly, she always seemed to have a pretty good head on her shoulders, and let's face it, who else could play a stripper and still walk away looking pretty classy? She divorced Bruce Willis but, always seemed to be able to maintain civility for the sake of her children. I really respect that about her. She left Hollywood and came back after her children got older...good for her!
THIS video however, really casts a completely different light upon her. How can she put something together that has such a sick message at the end? For the first part, I thought, "Okay, I guess that's okay...not bad...whatever, that's nice," but, at the end I was simply horrified. Obama is NOT a king and I am NOT his servant and to suggest or, even imply that it's a good thing to pledge to be a servant to Obama is just wrong. That is NOT American at all.
The president is a servant to the PEOPLE! Could you imagine if someone did a video like this for Bush when he was in office? These same people would be screaming about how horrible that was, AND they should! It's amazing how they just simply can't see the irony.

Once again, a friend of mine found this video. I'm posting it because, I like it. I also like how this man explains the problems with health care in this country. We need LESS government, not more. Every time we start adding bureaucratic tape, we have more and more problems.

I really hate the abortion argument. It's like walking in a circle and going nowhere. You are never going to convince anyone different from what they believe. At least, it feels that way.
With that being said, I really can't understand, at all, how anyone can support partial birth abortion. This is when a baby is in the the final trimester and coming out of the womb. This is a disgusting procedure and I can't imagine how any doctor could even commit this violent act. Even more, I can't understand how a mother could carry a child this long and go through with this act. It is absolutely mortifying and disturbing.
The worst part is, I know a woman that had this done. Well, she didn't really have a choice. Her parents sent her away to a camp until they could find a doctor that would perform this and they said that she needed to have this done. She was well into her third trimester. I haven't talked to her in years...just lost touch but, when I met her, it had been about 16 years prior and, she still thought about that baby. It's just not something you can get over. Unless, you're a sociopath of some kind.
There is never a reason to do this procedure. Ever. Almost never is the mother going to be better off in a physical way.
Please keep in mind that as you watch this video the Freedom of Choice Act is one that purposes to lift all restrictions that include the partial birth abortion ban, parental notification, and informed consent. You have to ask yourself what kind of people think this is okay? I feel like I'm living in a twilight zone.

Clinton History
I love history but, what's even more fascinating is recent history. I never liked Clinton. At the time he was running for office, I didn't know much about him so I never really had a reason not to like him, just that he looked like a sleaze. I've taken an interest in politics my whole life but, I was in high school, having the time of my life. I just really wasn't all that interested in paying much attention to what was going on during those years. It was afterwords, that I took more of an interest. However, it seems I just keep learning more and more about who the Clinton's were.
I found this documentary on YouTube. I like it because, it has some real first hand testimony as well as a lot of valuable information about who the Clinton's were before they came into power.

I Want My Blue Back, Damnit!
It's not that I don't like the color red. I do. It stands for fire, alertness, it's a radiant color but, I want my blue back!
I've been thinking a lot about all this "red states" and "blue states" business and I just can't help but wonder why the colors are assigned this way now. I remember distinctly, when I was very young, I would watch the elections with my parents on tv and they would put up a map of all the states and I remember a whole map, almost completely BLUE, that represented Reagan! Republicans were blue...not demoncraps.
Red is the color associated with commies and socialists. Blue represents law and order, justice, freedom, a patriot, and raspberry drinks! How the hell did this happen!? Sometime between Bush I and Bush II this changed. Ah-ha! Clinton! That evil scumbag!
Okay, it can't be all Clinton's fault. It's most definitely the media that did this but, why? Well, the same damn reason they took the word "liberal" over. WE are the liberals. If you think about it, if you read the founding father's papers on liberalism and what it meant, you will come to learn that liberalism is about freedom. It's about Laissez Faire economics, limited government, freedom, the chance to pursue happiness without having to cross a bunch of bureaucratic tape, ect.
