Class Warfare

All this recent talk about the "Occupy (insert liberal city here)" protests has really brought about many different outbursts on social media networks like Facebook and Twitter. I'm usually on Facebook because I have yet to really master the quick one-liners that are required for Twitter usage.

I'm not exactly sure where to begin with these folks but I have noticed that every darn time I get into an argument with these people and click on their profiles, they ALL have "The Daily Show" marked as one of the TV shows they like. In addition, many also display "The Colbert Report," and the other comedy show called, "The Rachel Maddow Show." I'm afraid that many of these people really do get all of their news from these shows and it truly frightens me.

Take a look at the image above. Now, I don't like to call people liars but, it just seems very hard for me to believe that at 21, this girl inherited enough money to now be considered in the top 1% of this country. I also have to ask what it is that is stopping her and her elite friends from sending the government more money? What is stopping her from helping the poor or the 99% that she claims to "stand with"? The answer, of course, is absolutely nothing. She just wants to whine and act like the typical liberal - white, middle class, and spoiled rotten.

Bottom line, there are so many ways you can help others in a capitalist society. There has never been a better time for people to donate to charities or give hand outs to family members and friends. This girl is basically saying that she is too stupid to figure out what positive things she can do with her money to help people, and she needs big brother to come along and take it from her. You would think if she had all that money and a brain, she would know that she could either develop or invest in new products or services that could help people. Instead, she's on the street with a crappy card board sign.

How about this image?

No, I really don't. The picture shown on the left side is clearly NOT one taken in this county and other other most likely is here in the USA so, this tells me that the USA is a kick-ass country! So why are they protesting our system again?

It is very clear that the protesters are well organized by socialist/communist groups who are hell bent on telling others what they can and cannot have. Who the hell is anyone to come along and judge a person, telling them what they can earn, or that they can only become so successful?

Here's the problem with their logic...and I learned this in political science - they absolutely believe in the "zero-sum" argument which states that if someone does well, someone else must suffer. This could not be further from the truth. There is nothing in the universal law that even suggests this. In fact, the world is filled with abundance and it is up to governments and to individuals to recognize that when someone succeeds, it makes it easier for others to succeed.

Think of it like this...if you become rich, you are going to help your family and your friends. You will most likely donate money to charity and you will definitely take your money and purchase items, a home, a car, and services. All of that spending creates jobs and all that donating also helps people. Someone, somewhere does not have to suffer. The only time people suffer is when no one is succeeding. If you remain poor, and no one around you becomes very successful, no one can help anyone and everyone does suffer. The best thing you can do for the poor is become filthy rich.

Now are all rich people good people? No. Absolutely not. Anyone with a brain knows that there are bad poor people, bad middle class people, and bad rich people...same goes for race and religion. None of these factors influence whether someone is good or bad. We most certainly have had problems with people scamming and taking advantage of people. There is nothing wrong with demanding justice but when all you are doing is coveting people's goods and money, it is clear that you are not a moral person. You are actually a selfish person.

So, what are your thoughts on the protests? Let me know, below...
