Parts of Biblical Manuscript Reunited

An interesting article I found on the AP is revealing that ever since the Ashkar manuscript, which is one page of the Song of the Sea, was photographed and published in 2007, it caught the eyes of some others, who were able to match it with it's other part.

The two who saw this were Mordechay Mishor and Edna Engel, both of whom are Israeli paleographers. They both recognized that it was similar to what is referred to as the London Manuscript.

They were both displayed in Jerusalem, reunited, on Friday. These are both 1,300 year old fragments and, are part of the Hebrew Biblical manuscripts.

It is not known how the parts became separated, only that they are finally back together now.

Health Care Summit - Dems Just Pushing Ahead

After yesterday's health care summit, the message Obama is sending to the American people is, they are moving forward. It matters not much what Republicans think or, that the majority of American's seem to be against them now; they are determined to pass something.

It's pretty obvious this wasn't about compromise. The Republican's do not want to pass through a 2700-page bill, that clearly no one has read, that includes massive government take over. They want to start over and write something much simpler.

This article on the AP, expresses the same ideas that the AP stories have been saying all week concerning this issue.

Obama's plan would require most Americans to get health insurance, while providing subsidies for many in the form of a new tax credit. It would set up a competitive insurance market for small businesses and people buying coverage on their own. Other changes include addressing a coverage gap in the Medicare prescription benefit and setting up a new long-term-care insurance program. The plan would be funded through Medicare cuts and tax increases.

How will this set up a competitive insurance market for small businesses, when insurance companies cannot compete in all states? Where is their proof for saying such a ridiculous thing? The problem with insurance is that it's NOT competitive at all. The market is not open and, if it's not open, then you truly do not have competition.

Medicare "cuts" and "tax increases"? This is going to be good, why? This doesn't make sense. Why does it have to be set up as a "new" long term care? Why do they have to change anything over? This just makes things more complicated. We already have medicare and it's going down the toilet. Calling it another name isn't going to fix anything. They need to fix what we have not, create more problems.

Live: Health Care Summit

Directly from the article running on AP:

"We'll have that meeting," said Sen. Chris Dodd, D-Conn., who helped write the Senate bill. "But far more important, after that meeting, you can either join us or get out of the way."

So, the demoncraps admit they are simply having a summit for show. They don't care about Republicans, they don't care about the American people, and they certainly don't care about the Constitution.

Where do politicians get the idea that government is to be involved in health care in the first place? A 2700 page bill that you know not a one of those Senators have read entirely is going to be shoved through, just so they prove they can finally get something done?

I guess we're supposed to be happy because, C-SPAN is finally allowed to cover something live on television.

We already have universal care, Medicade. So, why not just expand it? Then, allow insurance companies to sell all throughout the states? This doesn't have to be so complicated. We don't need the government determining who lives and who dies.

You'll have to read the story on the AP for yourself. Just click on the title of this post. It's truly amazing how slanted the coverage is on this story.

12,000 lb Whale Kills Trainer at Sea World

According to the article, the trainer, Dawn Brancheau, was rubbing the animal, when the whale then decided to jump up and grab her in it's mouth. The killer whale violently thrashed her in his mouth and then, swam around with her.Though staff rushed in to try and help, it was too late, Brancheau had drown.

Brancheau was one of the more experienced trainers at Sea World.

"She loved the whales like her children, she loved all of them," said Gross, of Schererville, Ind. "They all had personalities, good days and bad days."

This is said to have been the third time this animal had been involved in a human death.

Okay. then what are they keeping this animal for? I think it's really amazing how some people are able to get really up close and personal with such amazing creatures but, some creatures really need to be avoided.

Sheen Still Screwed Up

The truth is, I've always liked Charlie Sheen. Well, until he started blaming America for 9/11. I mean, "Men At Work" was "like" the best movie ever! Alright, I got a few chuckles from it. I'll admit it. Mr. Sheen has been in several quirky comedies that are rather enjoyable. The man does have some talent, no one can deny that.

With that being said, is this guys life ever not filled with complete and utter chaos? Divorce, drugs, alcohol, sex scandals, you name it. This guy has serious demons. So, it was no shock when I was looking at the AP today and I saw this story (click title for full story), about Sheen taking a break from his television comedy, "Two and Half Men," because he is in rehab. I've never watched the show so, I have no idea if it's funny but, it seems as though it's been on tv for quite sometime.

Excerpt from article:

Publicist Stan Rosenfield announced Tuesday that Sheen has entered a rehab facility "as a preventative measure." He asked for privacy for Sheen, 44, but did not specify why the embattled actor was seeking treatment.

This "preventive measure" most likely is related to him having to appear in court on March 15. An attempt to look like he's trying to take control over his life. Two months ago, Sheen was arrested after a fight occurred between him and his wife.

Drama, drama, drama. You would think that as he has gotten a little older, he would have calmed down a bit and taken control over his life. Such tragedy occurs in Hollywood to the players that are involved. When will they ever see or understand?

Ancient Fortifications Found Support Biblical Reference

Eilat Mazar, an Israeli archeologist, believes she has discovered an age to fortifications found in Jerusalem. She claims that they are indeed 3,000 years old and that this goes hand in hand with the story from the Bible about a strong centralized government having a presence there during that time. According to the Bible, kings Solomon and David were ruling at that time.

"It means that at that time, the 10th century, in Jerusalem there was a regime capable of carrying out such construction," she said.

Of course, there are folks that are saying they don't see the evidence that way or, they don't agree. Mazar is convinced this finding is accurate, supportive of the Bible's account, and that the age of material found is indeed 3,000 years old.

You can read the whole story being reported on the AP by clicking the title of this post.

Women To Serve On Submarines

The pentagon is removing a policy that prevented women from being on submarines. Congress is allowed to have an opinion but, they only have 30 days to do so.

This policy change, if no objection is made, will require the ships to be changed dramatically, to accommodate the women living in coed quarters. Women could serve on subs a little more than a year from now.

Click title of post for full story.

I'm not sure this is a good idea. I'm sorry but, I really don't think this is going to help anything. Instead, I see potential for disaster, i.g. sexual harassment charges, unfair treatment, ect. Call me a traditionalist; I don't like women being on the front line. Always have. I certainly do not mind women serving their country in other capacities but, this bothers me.

I guess this is what happens when you have PC policies that have infiltrated our military for the last several years.

Plea Deal For NYC Bomb Plotter

Najibullah Zazi was stopped on a routine traffic violation on the George Washington Bridge. Police were suspicious and decided to keep close tabs on him. It turns out that he was later arrested. This all occurred just before the eighth anniversary of Sep. 11th. His plan was to be a suicide bomber in the Manhattan subway line.

Zazi told procecutors that he had made approximately 2 lbs. of TATP or, triacetone triperoxide, which is also the same compound used by the "shoe bomber," Richard Reid.

Zazi had met with Al-Qaida operatives in August of 2008.

"I had discussions with al-Qaida leaders, including target locations, such as New York City subways," he said.

Five Muslim Soldiers Arrested

At Fort Jackson in South Carolina, five Muslim soldiers were arrested before Christmas. Apparently, they are suspects in poisoning food at Fort Jackson.

According to the article (you can click on the title of this post), these men were in contact with another group of five Muslims from the Washington DC area. Those five declared jihad on American soldiers, when they traveled over to Pakistan. Before Christmas, these men were arrested by Pakistani authorities.

Obviously, there appears to be much more to this story than what anyone is willing to say. Why? Why are we not being instructed by the White House to be vigilant? Why are they not coming forward with anything? Is Obama going to do the same thing Clinton did and do his best to just ignore terrorism? Or, maybe he can buy some time so he can pin this on a white man?

This doesn't sound right.

Biden Worries For Another Attack

Biden says he's concerned another terrorist attack may occur here. However, he's not concerned that it will be something of the magnitude that we saw on 9/11. No, he thinks it will be something smaller, similar to what happened on Christmas, with the airplane headed to Detroit.

Click title of this post for the article running on the AP.

It is also being reported that Biden likes former vice president Dick Cheney but, feels he's wrong to handle the War on Terror. It's interesting the article forgot to remind us that Biden had actually said Cheney has been most dangerous VP in history (Oct 2008). I'm still not sure how he arrived at that conclusion.

Why is Biden criticizing Cheney when, it's HIS administration that has seen several attacks from terrorists? The Bush administration dealt with 9/11; they then prevented further attacks from occurring here in the US. Biden really has no room to criticize anyone, especially when he's an active Vice President.

He also has a pretty spotty record when it comes to his voting in the Senate, concerning Homeland Securtiy.

He voted to cut $350B in military programs, from Star Wars to F-22's. (Dec 2007).

Universal national service, in military or Peace Corps. (Dec 2007). Evidently, he's not concerned with the importance of an all voluntary military.

Commitment to never use torture; no part of our policy, ever. (Sep 2007). It's only okay if the terrorists torture us.

He voted YES on adopting the Comprehensive Nuclear Test Ban Treaty. (Oct 1999). I suppose this is because, you can negotiate with anyone and trust them to keep that promise as well.

He also voted YES on allowing another round of military base closures. (May 1999).

His record is right there. For years, Biden's votes have not been very military friendly, in my opinion. In order for this country to be safe, we need to have full support of the men and women that protect us.

As far as having another small terrorist attack, well, I agree. I think it's very possible that we could see more attempts or, smaller attacks. We have to start using common sense approaches when were dealing with various security policies.

Instead, Biden just casually mentions that terrorist attacks could happen. Well, that's great, Biden. What are you going to do about it? You're the one in a position of authority. What policies are you going to implement so that grannies, handicaps, children, ect. are not the ones being harassed at airports but, folks who are Muslim, are pulled aside and questioned and checked? It's time that we use common sense in this country when it comes to dealing with terrorism.

If you want to criticize Cheney, fine but, at least while he was in office, we didn't have attacks. He also didn't come out with such a casual statement about us being attacked again. He also didn't follow things up with no solution, other than criticizing someone.

Partisanship Cited for Leaving

Sen. Evan Bayh says that he is leaving the Senate due to extreme partisanship.

"It's not like going to work every day, it's like going to war," Dave Nagle, a Democratic political activist and former congressman from Iowa, said in an interview. "You can only hear the bugle on the Hill so many times, then you grow tired of it. It just isn't worth it."

It seems many Republicans are saying that this has more to do with demoncraps not wanting to face their constituents.

My Slow Laptop

So, the past few weeks, my laptop has been going back and forth. Some days, it works great, while other days, it's been a pain in the butt. It goes slow and my internet connection just isn't what it used to be. I'm on wireless now. Mostly, just to save money. The wireless connection is pretty fast but, not what I had with a cable connection.

Anyway, I couldn't even get signed on the internet today. It just wouldn't even respond. I tried everything. Everything else seemed to be working just fine so, I figured it was the internet connection. Finally, I decided to do the general stuff i.g. scan, update, remove temp files. I was finally able to get back on line doing that.

So, I started looking for some way to optimize my laptop for free and found this. I love it! You can sign up for an upgrade version, which is 20 bucks, I think. I just loaded the free version and it's awesome. You can read for yourself what it does but, anyway...this laptop is working great now. I figured I'd share.

I haven't really had time to focus on anything else so, here's my blog entry for today. I figured I had to post something.

Valentine's Day

I don't celebrate it.

As with all pagan holiday's, I avoid giving too much attention to these bizarre holidays. I would like to thank everyone that has taken the time to offer up their Valentine greetings. It is a nice gesture, that I do appreciate.

I just don't celebrate this holiday. Please do not be offended that I have not offered the same greeting.

More On Khalid Sheikh Mohammed Trial

For some reason the Obama administration has been interested in treating terrorists like actual citizens, by providing them with all the rights of a regular citizen. This has been evident in their support of advocating their trials to be held in civilian courts, as opposed to military trials.

It seems as though some sanity is infiltrating the administration, as they seem to be hesitant on going full force with this belief. They do, in fact, seem to be considering a military trial for people who are from Guantanamo Bay. This includes the mastermind of 9/11, Khalid Sheikh Mohammed.

Click on the title of this post for the full article being reported on the AP.

So, maybe there is some sanity coming from the White House. Let's hope so. These terrorists are NOT citizens. They should be treated as enemies of the Union.

I understand that we [US government], want to be looked upon as the better force here. I get that but, bottom line, these people are sworn enemies of this country. They do not, under any circumstance, deserve to be treated as if they are citizens of this nation. Any action taken otherwise, is just insanity.

Administration Considering Military Commission for 9/11 Trial

Instead of a civilian trial, Attorney General Eric Holder is considering a military commission for Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, the 9/11 mastermind.

Click the title of this post for story being reported on AP.

Okay, so this sounds good but, then they follow it up with:

"At the end of the day, wherever this case is tried, in whatever forum, what we have to ensure is that it's done as transparently as possible and with adherence to all the rules," Holder told The Washington Post in an interview published in Friday's editions. "If we do that, I'm not sure the location or even the forum is as important as what the world sees in that proceeding."

Is it just me or, does it seem like we are the only country that even considers this PC crap? "What the world sees?" Why are we worried about the rest of what the world is thinking, when it comes to war? Would any other country  care, if it were them that was attacked? No.

Holder still maintains that a civilian trial would be the best option for the case and "best for our overall fight against al-Qaida."

How? I still do not understand how a man, who is not a citizen, who is behind the worst civilian attack in the history of this county, is best to be afforded all the rights of an actual citizen of this country. Even if he were a citizen, wouldn't he be considered a traitor and charged with treason?

Holder is a moron and his PC preferences are going to put this country in danger, not help us. This is pure insanity.

A Better Way to Report Climate Change

You can click the title of this post for the full story.

Basically, the science that has been reported about global warming is wrong. We all pretty much know this. The article goes on to insist that only 4 errors were made.

No errors have surfaced in the first and most well-known of the reports, which said the physics of a warming atmosphere and rising seas is man-made and incontrovertible. So far, four mistakes have been discovered in the second report, which attempts to translate what global warming might mean to daily lives around the world.

and

Many IPCC scientists say it's impressive that so far only four errors have been found in 986 pages of the second report, with the overwhelming majority of the findings correct and well-supported.

How about the fact that we don't seem to be "warming" any? I guess that's just one error, right?

I don't know much about the climate but, I know plenty about science and these reports have simply been completely inconclusive. According to these same scientists, humans have been on earth for billions of years but, we only have a few hundred years of actual recorded temperatures. So, if you put that on a time line, we have a literal "dot" of knowledge on a time line. How can you accurately interpolate anything from that?

Yes, you can try to make some predictions and for the most part, we do a fairly good job of reporting weather within a few days or weeks but, beyond that, it needs to be emphasized that it's only speculation, not reported as some scary fact.

I am all for recycling, cleaner energy, doing things more efficiently, you name it. I just don't want to be at the cost of common sense.

My Thoughts on Palin

Okay, so Palin wrote some "notes" on her hand at the Tea Party. I think we've all see this or, at least heard about it by now.

Here's my take. Okay, I like Sarah Palin. I do. I think she's a great woman and, someone to look up to and admire. She seems to have great values, a family that has it's problems but, who's doesn't? She's like the rest of us. She gives a nice appeal of an everyday house wife, career mom type. She is also a whole hell of a lot better than Biden. My goodness.

Now, don't get me wrong, we all have flaws. The people we elect into positions of power are not perfect either but, they need to be people we can trust. I trust Palin over Biden any day, and still do.

However; had this been a democrat, us conservatives/Republicans would be freaking out, laughing our butts off about this, and you know it. Come on! This  was a dumb thing to do. All she had to do was carry out a note card. Lot's of people do that. People always take notes. She could have made a great joke about it. "I don't have the luxury of a teleprompter but, I do have paper and a pen!" No one would have faulted her for keeping a few notes but, writing them on her hand? Umm...I think most of us stopped doing that in high school.

So, let's just admit it was dumb and move on. I mean, anyone that would chose Biden over Palin, those guys have enough problems; let them have their laughs, join in. In the meantime...

...we can have ours.

GOP Remains Skeptical of Obama's Health Care Plan

"This is a clever tactic by the president to try to put the Republicans on the defensive," said John Feehery, a GOP consultant and former congressional aide. "There's a vast ideological gulf" between the two parties on health care, he said, making it likely that the Feb. 25 half-day meeting will be more showmanship than substance.

Click title of post for full article.

"What I want to do is to look at the Republican ideas that are out there," Obama said. "And I want to be very specific. 'How do you guys want to lower costs? How do you guys intend to reform the insurance markets so people with preexisting conditions, for example, can get health care? How do you want to make sure that the 30 million people who don't have health insurance can get it?'"

I guess throwing them in jail is the answer!

I suppose we'll have to wait and see what this is all about but, no one can blame the Republicans for being cautious of Obama; they should be. Does anyone really believe he's planning on listening to Republicans?

Oh, and I love this quote:

"I think the greatest risk for Democrats is passing nothing," said Rep. Gerry Connolly, D-Va. "There are a lot of things the public may not support in a given moment, but later on, when things have quieted down, they may think of highly."

An overhaul of U.S. health care could fit that description, he said.

So, I guess just push whatever through and damn the people, they'll learn to love it? Astounding.

Still Blaming Bush

I usually don't troll left wing sites but, after being offered some words of wisdom from a wise person I know, "know your enemy," I decided to take that advice and look a little closer as to what the left is saying about current events. I ran across an interesting website called, "open left." Click the title of this article for details.

This piece of writing/graphs I found, so intelligently titled, "Who dat own the debt? Bush dat own the debt!" written by Paul Rosenburg, is just an example of insanity the left displays.

Then, Paul says, "Putting Bush's record together with the latest projections for the future under Obama doesn't make things look exactly cheery, but it makes a mockery of attempts to blame Obama:"

Ummm...what? This doesn't even make any sense. Why is this guy talking in circles? Why is the "difference" line well below the actual? It's misleading. I understand what they did with the numbers but, they are misrepresenting things. The difference can already be seen between the projected (blue) and, the red (actual). The yellow line is simply there to make things look worse.

Not only that but, what is Rosenburg talking about, "Putting Bush's record together with the latest projections for the future under Obama doesn't make things look exactly cheery, but it makes a mockery of attempts to blame Obama:"??? This makes no sense at all.

When are the liberals going to realize that we are IN OBAMA'S economy? This is his time now. They didn't say that it was Clinton's fault for the recession he started when Bush took over, did they?

What a bunch of ninnies.

People That Believe In G-d Are Scary

Or, so I've just been told!

Another liberal attacking Sarah Parlin because, she "believes in an invisible god."

I'm so addicted to Facebook! I get to meet and see all sorts of different people express the most absurd views.

This older Savage diatribe was posted and of course, being a huge Savage fan, I "liked" the post and made a comment to the effect that I agree with Savage.

Of course, in walks a liberal I have dealt with in the past. I guess after much time has passed, he feels as though he can beat me in an argument now. He basically said Sarah Palin was ignorant and it's not at all unreasonable for Matt Damon to express his concern. The exact quote:

Damon is jealous of Sarah Palin? Huh? No, he's scared of her ignorance and how close she became to the white house. Sounds pretty simple and doesn't need pyscho analysis.

In return, I asked him, point blank, what ignorance he was referring to? I reminded him that she was the governor of the state of Alaska and, that the person he voted for in the White House had practically NO experience doing anything other than organizing a few BBQ's.

His response?

You're seriously defending Sarah Palin? Besides, this wasn't a competition of who is more qualified. Strictly a assesment of Palin's scariness. You would vote for her? You've gotta just be playing devil's advocate or something. C'mon.

Do you notice how he has now changed his original point?  First, she was ignorant. Now, it's not about ignorance at all, it's all about being scary.

My response:

Yes, I like Sarah Palin. I'm not much of a "woman in politics" sort of person. I happen to find a great deal of wisdom in women NOT being in politics because, I find many of them vote strictly on how good a candidate looks. Especially amongst liberal women. Most of them haven't a clue as to what their candidate supports; they lack any knowledge of the issues and when you question them, they say, "I just can't talk about this with you!"

*eyeroll*

I do like Sarah Palin. I think she would have done a great job as vice president and, judging her by an interview that was cut up worse than a Freddy Kruger victim, is hardly a way to judge her and say she is "scary." How is she scary?

Why wouldn't I defend her? What's your point?

So, at this point, I'm waiting to hear what it is that he finds so scary about Sarah Palin that wasn't scary about Barack Obama. I mean, his name alone is enough to give one concern, his ties to terrorists, communism, being a puppet for the far-left in this country, ect. No, none of THOSE things scared him but, Sarah Palin did?

Here's his highly thought out, quite telling response:

She clearly didn't have a grasp on reality. We didn't need another un-informed god freak who thinks an invisible man is telling her what to do near the white house. I mean you did watch her interviews right? You wouldn't defend her because she is a muppet, you're clearly more itelligent than she and I'm not sure why you'd want her as a reprasentative or person in charge. Or you're so wound up in your conservatism you can't make clear judgements.

Now, I could be rude and point out that the words are: puppet, intelligent, representative, and judgments respectively but, I'll ignore that because, it truly is trite.

If you notice, I had already addressed the interviews in my previous post and how they were butchered in a biased way. I brought the interviews up immediately because, this is a TALKING point with liberals. This is what they get in their emails from Barber Boxer or, Nancy Pelosi or, some other left wing nut sending out bullet points for democraps to talk about.

He was so eager to bring up the interviews, that he didn't even read my previous post. So, his answer was given to me in a round about way. He thinks she's scary because she is a "god freak."

Let me just say, for a group of people who claim to be so tolerant, so accepting, so politically correct, they bow down to anyone that is a minority, they kiss ass with anyone that says they are a part of sexual deviant group, fine...but, wow do they show their utter nastiness when it comes to G-d.

I, personally, have such a hard time hearing the words, "G-d d---," and "J---- C-----!" I cringe. I, also, if you notice do not even spell G-d's name out to show my respect for Him. This is not something I have to do. This is a choice I have made and I realize that not everyone does that; it doesn't bother me terribly when people spell His name out but, when people do not capitalize the word G-d, when referring to one True G-d, AND they are liberal and a part of the "PC movement" I DO get upset. Why am I, as a Christian in training, not afforded the same "sensitivity"?

At the same time, I do get over this easily, because, I am not into PC crap. I just find it annoying how selective these folks are and, they flat out refuse to recognize this.

So, I simply pointed out that there is nothing wrong with a belief in G-d. I had to repeat that the interviews with Palin were chopped up and biased.

Bottom line, his point:

Other than, any political opinion you've ever said is really a moot point. Because you would base your vote only if he/she subscribes to the same invisible space god as you do.
Too bad. We need less god.

This type of response just floors me.

Then, of course, he does what every atheist does:

So the bible is perfect and so you live by it?

Let's attack the Bible because, you know, it was written by man. This is such an odd argument to me. I go by the KJV and yes, there are some flaws but, it's perfect in it's own right. The Bible was written in a way that it's translations were reviewed several times and scrutinized, a truly democratic way of translating the words. So, yes, I trust the Bible and, see it's wisdom.

The liberal however will spend about two-thirds of their argument attacking the Bible, saying it's stupid to believe in a book (that ironically has been protected all these years...I mean, what other books have survived that long?), that it was written by man so, it's just a flawed book and filled with out-dated ideas, ect. We've all heard these arguments before but, then, these same people want to put their whole lives from cradle-to-the grave in the hands of a government, ran by man????  I just don't get it at all.

You can't have it  both ways. Christians admit that the Bible has flaws to a degree. It is perfect in it's own right. We know man is flawed; that is exactly why we trust ourselves to make the best decisions for our lives. We also trust that others can make their own decisions for their lives. When you have the government making all your decision, that is not freedom and, you are putting your trust in another flawed man.

At least, most the atheists I know are actually conservative or, libertarian. That is at least consistent with their beliefs.

Yet, to this man, Christian conservatives are scary and, "don't have a grasp on reality."

Obama Seeks Money for Nuclear Weapons Work

Not that I have a problem with Obama trying to do more to protect us, I just find it odd that this is something he's doing when he seems to do a lot of lecturing in his speeches about disarming.

President Barack Obama is seeking increased funding for nuclear weapons research and security programs next year, even as his administration promotes nonproliferation and has pledged to reduce the world's stockpile of nuclear arms.

I guess a few things could be happening here. One, he could be starting to realize that a nation needs to protect itself and, that we do have enemies we cannot negotiate with or, he's planning on dominating the world or, I don't know.

Greg Mello, director of the nuclear watchdog Los Alamos Study Group, said budgets for NNSA and DOE have increased in recent years, but the nation "hasn't seen any increase in weapons activities like this since the early years of Ronald Reagan."

Seriously, I suppose I should applaud him, and I would, it's just that I don't trust him. I don't like his character. I don't like the people he surrounds himself with. He lacks integrity.

He called the budget "a complete surrender to Senate Republicans," who have argued that stockpile reductions must be accompanied by a modernized nuclear weapons complex.

I could be wrong, this just smells fishy to me.

Some More Thoughts

Concerning my last post...

I'm not saying that Obama is Hitler. I'm simply trying to point out that, Obama is much closer to being a Hitler than comparisons that have been made in the past, i.g. Bush. I also believe the man has Narcissistic Personality Disorder.

As a friend of mine pointed out, lots of children move, go to many schools, have father's that work as a government employee, ect. This is all true. There are also lots of children that come from broken homes and have similar childhood experiences. It doesn't mean that they all have Narcissistic Personality Disorder but, your chances of having it greatly increase when all of these outer forces are present. Also, please note that many people go on their whole lives with NPD and are never officially diagnosed.

Having NPD doesn't automatically make you a psychotic world leader that performs ethnic cleansing and other atrocities. However, I am concerned when I look at the similarities and find that we may, very well, have a leader in office that has NPD.

Again, I think it's fair to say, we still appear to have a government with some checks and balances. So, it would be much more difficult for Obama to carry out some evil plan of ethnic cleansing or, sending people to gas chambers. No, I don't think that's the sort of abuse we should be worried about. The abuse I'm worried about is what he can do to change the economics in this country, going from a free market to a socialist economic style.

It wouldn't be very hard. American's have slowly accepted more and more government control when it comes to purchasing goods and services. Part of the reason health insurance is so high is because, we've already allowed the government to dictate that they cannot sell beyond state lines. There are all sorts of controls on industries by the government... federal, state, and local alike.

So, someone who's connections, who's past, who's beliefs that do not seem to correspond with the traditional American,  free market ideology, coupled with NPD, could very easily feel that it is his mission to take over the US economy. He is hell bent on "green" policies. Is it out of the question to suggest this man thinks so highly of himself, that he's going to implement green policies by taking over the economy, and selling people on the idea of "saving the world"?

Is it really all that out of the question to think this man is not a desirable character I want in the White House because, I believe his NPD will create problems for this country?

My liberal friends do not seem at all concerned with him. They have this, almost blind love for him. They don't think there's any reason to worry. They have no problem with him surrounding himself with Anti-Semites, sitting in a church for 20 years with an openly racist Reverend, being connected to the corrupt community organization ACORN, ect. Nope, they don't want to "judge" him by any of those things.

I would understand if there were a few things of concern here and there. No one is perfect and, I'm sure we all know someone that is shady yet, they are still our friends. This man however, is a walking billboard sign of warnings and cautions. It's just one thing right after another.

How about his records? Now, if you've been reading my blog, you know I'm not a truther or, a birther or, any other sect of folks hell bent on odd topics. I have many friends that are so, I am not bothered by those folks; I just don't share that opinion. It is hard nonetheless, to turn a complete blind eye to what is going on. While I do believe the man was more than likely born in HI, I do find it odd that he won't release other records, like his school records. I'm not terribly concerned with his grades, that isn't always a great indicator of intelligence. Grades are helpful but, they are not the end-all-be-all of a man's intellect.

No, I only find it odd because, it seems all presidents before him, have all released their education records. It is just a standard practice. What is he hiding? Why is he paying money to keep these documents a secret? Even if he had bad grades, it wouldn't really matter. He's in office now. We can't impeach a president for having bad grades and they can't be much worse then fellow democrats, John Kerry and Al Gore. So, again, I ask, why has he not released them?

Federal law limits the information that Columbia can release about Mr. Obama's time there. A spokesman for the university, Brian Connolly, confirmed that Mr. Obama spent two years at Columbia College and graduated in 1983 with a major in political science. He did not receive honors, Mr. Connolly said, though specific information on his grades is sealed. A program from the 1983 graduation ceremony lists him as a graduate.

I did manage to find this article concerning his years at Columbia but, there is something odd about him being completely silent on this part of his life. There is something disturbing about that. Not just because, I don't like Obama, I don't, but because it's coupled with all these other issues I've already mentioned.

That's all for now. I just had some additional, random thoughts and they didn't really fit anywhere else. I thought I'd share them...for whatever it's worth.
