Shaun King and His "Race" Issue

Shaun King has been recently "outed" as a white man. King is one of the movers and shakers of the #BlackLivesMatter campaign and he also is a justice columnist for The Daily Kos, a far-left wing website.

According to most reports, Shaun has long claimed to be bi-racial, having a white mother and black father. He even received a scholarship from Oprah for school. A scholarship designed to help black students go to school.

Dr. Benjamin Carson Speech

I ran across this speech on Facebook. This occurred at the National Prayer Breakfast, Feb 7th, 2013.

Dr. Carson makes some amazing points about the current state of our country and offers some insight into what deep problems our country currently faces. Using his role model's (Jesus') words and wisdom he further sheds light onto the simplicity of the Lord's teachings and how they can help us find better solutions.

Education and spiritual growth are the reason for our country's past successes and we should continue to embrace what has lifted us before. He rightly points out how sensitive so many of us have become and how difficult it is for anyone to speak without offending others. True tolerance is about respecting other people's views that might not necessarily agree with our own.

What is most striking about Dr. Carson's speech is his continuing mention of working together, and not allowing issues to divide us. He acknowledges the importance of both American political parties but emphasizes their equality.

Dr. Carson's speech was refreshing and logical, as well as spiritually moving. Obama sat fairly still during the speech and at some points he actually seemed to look offended or maybe that's just what I saw.

I think most people are expecting this to go viral, as it should. It really is a must see and worth the time to listen and watch.

Benjamin Solomon "Ben" Carson, Sr. is an American neurosurgeon and the Director of Pediatric Neurosurgery at Johns Hopkins Hospital. He was awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom, the highest civilian award in the United States, by President George W.

RealClearPolitics - Video - Chris Matthews Cites Mark Levin Being Complicit In AZ Shooting

RealClearPolitics - Video - Chris Matthews Cites Mark Levin Being Complicit In AZ Shooting

Click link above.

Is Chris Matthews serious? I guess he is. He points out Michael Savage and Mark Levin as people who display angry rhetoric. Oh, boy! I guess they caused the shootings in Arizona?

It never fails that the left does this crap and, they always get mud in their faces because, it's usually always a liberal loon that commits these violent acts. Yet, they never fail to try and point the finger at right-wing talk radio. Why is radio such a threat to these folks? It's clear they don't even listen to radio and if they do, they are clearly just catching snippets and creating these erroneous interpolations.

I'm the biggest Savage fan and I have heard him angry but, it's funny. It's a different kind of anger. You either get it or you don't. He just says the greatest stuff and, you laugh because, it's so unbelievably refreshing to hear someone else saying what you have wanted to say but, either couldn't say or, you just couldn't find the words to say it. He doesn't make anyone that loves his show angry; he makes them happy and feel comfortable.

These folks on the left have no sense of humor whatsoever. I might not like when SNL pokes fun at Republicans or conservatives but, I know when it's a joke. Hell, I might think it's a stupid joke but, I can I still tell when it's a joke. Keith Olbermann is one of the biggest hate-speech reporters on the left but, I also know that he is one big joke.

Some of these things liberals complain about concerning Glenn Beck are flat out JOKES. They are either too dumb to figure that out or, they are just humorless. So, they take what is clearly meant as a joke and twist it, telling people the story as if it were real. Yet, not one of these liberals have any issue with a man like Michael Moore making movies that he calls "documentaries" where he flat out LIES to people. Isn't that interesting?

Blaming the Right

Once we heard about the shootings in AZ, you just knew the next thing to come out of the left would be their utter intolerance for the right, and of course blaming talk radio for everything bad that happens.

Now, I don't know who this Jared Lee Loughner is but, so far, it appears as though he is a lefty, who I doubt has ever heard talk radio, let alone watch something like Fox News.

This article was brought to my attention by a friend of mine on Facebook, written by Paul Krugman (of course).

Just read the condescending attitude that comes off of this man's words, as if liberals would never engage in inflammatory rhetoric.
The point is that there’s room in a democracy for people who ridicule and denounce those who disagree with them; there isn’t any place for eliminationist rhetoric, for suggestions that those on the other side of a debate must be removed from that debate by whatever means necessary.

And it’s the saturation of our political discourse — and especially our airwaves — with eliminationist rhetoric that lies behind the rising tide of violence.

Where’s that toxic rhetoric coming from? Let’s not make a false pretense of balance: it’s coming, overwhelmingly, from the right. It’s hard to imagine a Democratic member of Congress urging constituents to be “armed and dangerous” without being ostracized; but Representative Michele Bachmann, who did just that, is a rising star in the G.O.P.

And there’s a huge contrast in the media. Listen to Rachel Maddow or Keith Olbermann, and you’ll hear a lot of caustic remarks and mockery aimed at Republicans. But you won’t hear jokes about shooting government officials or beheading a journalist at The Washington Post. Listen to Glenn Beck or Bill O’Reilly, and you will.
Of course, the likes of Mr. Beck and Mr. O’Reilly are responding to popular demand. Citizens of other democracies may marvel at the American psyche, at the way efforts by mildly liberal presidents to expand health coverage are met with cries of tyranny and talk of armed resistance. Still, that’s what happens whenever a Democrat occupies the White House, and there’s a market for anyone willing to stoke that anger.
But even if hate is what many want to hear, that doesn’t excuse those who pander to that desire. They should be shunned by all decent people.

Unfortunately, that hasn’t been happening: the purveyors of hate have been treated with respect, even deference, by the G.O.P. establishment. As David Frum, the former Bush speechwriter, has put it, “Republicans originally thought that Fox worked for us and now we’re discovering we work for Fox.”
Eliminationist rhetoric? Excuse me? Has this guy even listened to talk radio? I've been listening to talk radio for well over 10 years now and, I have NEVER once heard any talk show host ever encourage anyone to go out and shoot people. Oh, wait. I did here Randi Rhodes on Airhead America make a big joke about shooting then president of the United States, George W. Bush.

Do talk radio show hosts make silly jokes? You be they do but, only a moron without a sense of humor would not know the difference but, not even in their jokes have I heard a call for violence. I do hear that stuff on the left. You bet I do. Go anywhere around the internet and you will find crazy lefties in almost ALL areas. Go to the Democrat Underground and you will constantly see people spilling their hatred of the right.

Krugman is a typical sanctimonious lefty, that loves to point to the right, without first looking in the mirror. He probably does the most vile things when he gets home at night but, is the first to complain about someone calling his precious Pelosi a naughty name.

I do not want to jump to any conclusions about who this Jared is or what his motivations were. You can see that on the very first post I made about the issue. Not only that but, I didn't even report about it right away because, I was waiting to see what else developed, what other information would become available. It doesn't matter if the guy identified himself as a lefty or, someone on the right, or a Tea Party guy. He was a lunatic. No NORMAL person does what he did. Period. I don't know any average democrats or Republicans that would act in such a disgusting manner.

As far as rhetoric, it comes from both sides and it's where you look. If Krugman wants to say it's from right wing talk radio however, I am calling BS! If you want to make accusations, that's perfectly fine but, he should do some more research and, find REAL sources to complain about, not make stuff up as he goes along.

Downfall of Socialism

AP – Stella Wehrly, left, speaks during an interview as her husband Hank Wehrly looks on, at the St. Andrews

I hear all the time about my fellow citizens complain of socialized medicine and, how they no longer want left-wing goons in the government taking away our freedoms. There's just one problem - socialism in the US has actually been here for quite some time. In fact, there are more socialized programs in this country than there are in many that actually say they are socialist.

Social Security is one of these programs.

The government is expected to announce this week that more than 58 million Social Security recipients will go through a second straight year without an increase in monthly benefits. This year was the first without an increase since automatic adjustments for inflation started in 1975.

Social Security is one of those programs that come out of a  good intention to help people later on in their older age. However, when you pay into Social Security, the money doesn't go in a bank account reserved for you and your family. It goes directly to the people that are currently receiving it's benefits. In fact, many people that have the misfortune of dying too soon in life, may spend years paying other folks to receive monies only to find that nothing is returned to even their families.

The very structure of this program has eventual failure all over it and, we are now starting to see this prediction materialize from those years ago that warned of the inherent fraud that Social Security is.

"I think it's disgusting," said Paul McNeil, 69, a retired state worker from Warwick, R.I., who said his food and utility costs have gone up, but his income has not. He lamented decisions by lawmakers that he said do not favor seniors.

At the Phoenix Knits yarn shop in Phoenix, 73-year-old owner Pat McCartney said she already worries about paying for utilities, groceries and gas. Not having the increase makes her worry even more.
"If I have any major expense, I don't know what I'll do," McCartney said while helping customers with their knitting. "I live on Social Security."
Is there a way to change the climate of "entitlement"?

Elena Kagan - Obama's Choice for Supreme Court

AP Photo/J. Scott Applewhite

It's no surprise that Obama would be interested in nominating Kegan to the Supreme Court. She's left wing, a lawyer, former dean of Harvard Law School, never has served as a judge, and of course, the all-important factor of adding a woman.

Still Blaming Bush

I usually don't troll left wing sites but, after being offered some words of wisdom from a wise person I know, "know your enemy," I decided to take that advice and look a little closer as to what the left is saying about current events. I ran across an interesting website called, "open left." Click the title of this article for details.

This piece of writing/graphs I found, so intelligently titled, "Who dat own the debt? Bush dat own the debt!" written by Paul Rosenburg, is just an example of insanity the left displays.

Then, Paul says, "Putting Bush's record together with the latest projections for the future under Obama doesn't make things look exactly cheery, but it makes a mockery of attempts to blame Obama:"

Ummm...what? This doesn't even make any sense. Why is this guy talking in circles? Why is the "difference" line well below the actual? It's misleading. I understand what they did with the numbers but, they are misrepresenting things. The difference can already be seen between the projected (blue) and, the red (actual). The yellow line is simply there to make things look worse.

Not only that but, what is Rosenburg talking about, "Putting Bush's record together with the latest projections for the future under Obama doesn't make things look exactly cheery, but it makes a mockery of attempts to blame Obama:"??? This makes no sense at all.

When are the liberals going to realize that we are IN OBAMA'S economy? This is his time now. They didn't say that it was Clinton's fault for the recession he started when Bush took over, did they?

What a bunch of ninnies.
