Four Wounded, One Dead in Ohio School Shooting

The top story for today has been a school shooting in Ohio. It seems as though one student has been confirmed to be dead, while four others are wounded.
The suspected gunman, believed to be a student, was chased out of the school by a teacher and later apprehended about a half mile away. Authorities have not released the juvenile's name because he has not been charged yet.

Two of the male victims are in critical condition, another male is in serious condition and one female is in stable condition, according to local media reports.

The deceased student was identified by a hospital spokeswoman as Daniel Parmertor. His family released a statement through MetroHealth System spokeswoman Shannon Mortland that said: "We are shocked by this senseless tragedy. Danny was a bright young boy who had a bright future ahead of him. The family is torn by this loss. We ask that you respect our privacy during this difficult time."
Dear heavens, I really hope we don't have to hear about how sad the shooter's life is. The last thing we need to focus on is who he was and all the "pain" he went through from people hurting his feelings. Lock him up, throw away the key. Sorry. I am sick of living in a culture where I'm supposed to dole out sympathy equally among everyone. Some people just do not deserve it.

My Ron Paul Post For the Day

I had a friend on Facebook post a notice to his Ron Paul "friends" to go elsewhere or they would be deleted. I had to chime in and I think the resulting post is pretty damn good so, I thought I would share. Enjoy or ridicule. :)

DC Crime Increases

Crime is on the rise in Washington D.C., our nation's beautiful capital. I can't help but wonder what would happen if people were allowed to own guns.
Violent crime so far this year in the District has spiked sharply — a 40 percent increase that includes twice as many robberies at gunpoint than at this time last year.

Homicides were the only category of violent crime to decline in the first six weeks this year. As of Thursday, the city had recorded 10 homicides compared with 11 at a similar point last year.

Overall, though, incidents of violent crime — homicides, sexual assaults, robberies and assaults with deadly weapons — are rising at an alarming pace.

The biggest increase was in the 1st District, which includes Capitol Hill, where violent crime jumped by 69 percent, with 110 incidents reported compared with 65 at this point last year. The highest increase was in the 7th District, east of the Anacostia River, where 181 were reported, up 43 percent from the 127 incidents recorded at this point in 2011.
Mayor Vincent C. Gray has yet to take responsibility for the rise in crime, nor raise awareness to the people of D.C. that crime is steadily climbing - violent crimes at that.

Obviously Gray is another democrat who fails to understand how liberal policies, social or economic, are utter failures. It is because of the radical left in this country who have been hell bent on taking the rights of a person's ability to defend themselves, that we see these democrat-run cities that are out of control and out of money.

It absolutely astonishes me that there are still people who vote democrat. I know the Republicans have not been much better as of late but, democrats have PROVEN beyond a shadow of a doubt that their policies do nothing but create more damage to a city, as well as robbing individuals of their freedoms and inner spirit. The drive that once pushed us to persevere has been stolen from us by these loons on the left, as they replaced it with complacency and apathy.

When you have a culture who refused to stand up to abnormal and/or negative behaviors and even takes the time to defend the behavior by providing explanations, you will continue to not only encourage these behaviors, but approve of them as well. The result of this is our current culture, where no one seems to care about anyone but themselves. We have produced a generation of people who identify with only the current times. There is practically no interest in history, no desire to research and fact check, total lack of interest in being involved in the government's activities, and to top it all off - a belief that everyone in government is evil. To which I have to ask, what the hell did you expect to happen to the grade of politicians we have to choose from, if at the same time you lecture to everyone about accepting any and all behavior, and even going so far as to justify it?

Newt Gets More Support While Obama Loses Support

Looks like Newt is getting 10 million dollars for his campaign.
Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich's faltering campaign is about to get another shot in the arm, CBS News has learned.
Billionaire casino magnate Sheldon Adelson plans to give another $10 million to the outside group backing the former Georgia lawmaker who is running behind former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney and former Pennsylvania Sen. Rick Santorum in the race for the Republican presidential nomination, a source close to Adelson told CBS News.
Obama on the other hand is losing financial backing from a San Francisco donor.
San Francisco philanthropist Susie Tompkins Buell, one of the Democratic Party's most generous benefactors, is keeping her checkbook closed when President Obama holds high-priced California fundraisers this week.
"I want to look him in the eye and say, 'Thank you so much' " for his work, said Buell, who expresses deep disappointment in the president's leadership on environmental issues, especially climate change.
With Obama's 2012 re-election campaign in full swing, "I would just love to write my big check ... or have a high-dollar dinner here" on his behalf, she said. "I can't."

So, this is great news for Gingrich. I really hope he gets some momentum and gets back on top. I cannot see myself voting for Romney. He has done many things that are "legal" but quite unethical, and while I like many of the things Santorum has said, he is well known for being a corrupt politician.

Newt is not much better. Let's face it, it's hard to find someone who is not corrupt or has been associated with some sort of scandal but, I like that Newt is not afraid of the press. We need a conservative with some balls. I think a lot of the whole marriage/divorce stuff has been taken out of context. He actually makes efforts in putting forth a conservative agenda and has proven that he is capable of getting things done. With that being said, I like him the best.

Let me know what you think. Comment below.

Charlie Chaplin a Frenchman?

Here's an interesting story...

Chaplin became one of Hollywood's first megastars with his shabby, bowler-hatted everyman persona, the Little Tramp
The mystery surrounding his origins emerged when the US authorities asked MI5 to look into the comic actor's background after he left America in 1952 under a cloud of suspicion over his communist links.
But British officers could find no birth certificate and the earliest official record was a passport issued in 1920.
They investigated suggestions he was born in Fontainebleau, near Paris, or nearby Melun, while the Americans claimed his real name was Israel Thornstein and raised the idea he may have been a Russian Jew.
Despite extensive searches, MI5 could find no evidence of any of the claims leaving his true origins a mystery to this day.
So, it does appear as though he was a communist sympathizer.

Santorum Ahead

Looks like Santorum is not going away. Rasmussen is showing that Santorum is pulling far ahead of Romney.
The new statewide telephone survey of Likely Republican Primary voters shows Santorum picking up 42% of the vote to Romney’s 24%. Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich draws 13% support, while Texas Congressman Ron Paul picks up 10%. Three percent (3%) prefer some other candidate, and eight percent (8%) are undecided.

Why I'm An A-Hole To Liberals On Facebook

I know, I know, you're not supposed to argue over the internet. Whatever. I have been arguing on the internet since day one of signing on in '95. That was the original basis of its appeal. So, here is one example of what really irritates me about liberals.

My friend posted a link so that we could listen to Ronald Reagan speak about healthcare. Mostly, just pay attention to the woman that I colored green. The one in red just made some point about how she had to argue with her insurance company and they they too make decisions without consulting you or your family.

Whitney Houston Dies

Wow. I guess I'm not supposed to be shocked but I most certainly am. I grew up with Whitney! Dead??? I don't really cry over celebrities but I might be shedding a tear or two over this one. Her voice was incredible, as was her talent.

Here's to you Whitney!

Whitney Houston, who ruled as pop music's queen until her majestic voice and regal image were ravaged by drug use, erratic behavior and a tumultuous marriage to singer Bobby Brown, died Saturday. She was 48.
Beverly Hills police Lt. Mark Rosen told reporters outside the Beverly Hilton that Houston was pronounced dead at 3:55 p.m. in her room on the fourth floor of the hotel. Her body remained there and Beverly Hills detectives were investigating.
"There were no obvious signs of any criminal intent," Rosen said.
Houston's publicist, Kristen Foster, said the cause of death was unknown.
She was supposed to perform at the Grammy's tomorrow night.

Is it just me or have these Whitney obits been written for quite some time? The articles I am finding all over the internet are long and well researched.

Madonna's Revenge and Some M.I.A. Flipped the Bird

Every year at the Super Bowl, the halftime show since the famous 2004-Jackson-wardrobe-malfunction occurred, older and more mature artists have been asked to perform. The shows have been sterilized and described by many as "boring," "sucked," "lame," "okay," or, "not terrible." The show used to be known for offering spots to very popular artists of current times.

The Rampage of Ryan O'Hara

Make sure you check out my friend's new book! This sounds like it's going to be an amazing read.

Thank you, Jim!

This is a violent tale of vengeance and delayed justice made necessary by a failed system that allows treasonous murders to escape punishment.

Los Angeles Teacher Arrested For Lewd Acts With 23 Boys and Girls

AP/Los Angeles Sheriff's Department
This undated police booking photo released by the Los Angeles Sheriff's Department shows former Los Angeles teacher Mark Berndt, 61, who was arrested for felony molestation of 23 kids after photos surfaced. Berndt been charged with committing lewd acts with 23 boys and girls ages 6 to 10, according to the Associated Press.

LOS ANGELES – A U.S. school teacher bound and gagged nearly two dozen children, put cockroaches on some of their faces and posed in photos with them, possibly inside a classroom, the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department said Tuesday.
A department statement said 61-year-old Mark Berndt was arrested Monday and remained jailed Tuesday on $2.3 million bail. The district attorney's office said Berndt has been charged with committing lewd acts with 23 boys and girls ages 6 to 10, according to the Associated Press.
The investigation began when a film processor gave authorities about 40 photographs depicting blindfolded children in a classroom with their mouths taped shut.
As disgusting as this is, it gets worse. According to the article (click title of this post), he gave them semen to consume and called it "sugar."

None of the children had reported him because they did not understand they were being taken advantage of. Apparently he had told them it was all a "game" of some sorts.

WTF is wrong with people these days? How could anyone do this to children? At a school? Lock him up and throw away the key, please!

Obama Recycles!

It's always good to see a politician who recycles. Only you never really expect it to be their speeches.

Obama repeats his speeches, while Joe Biden steals his.

Romney Wins Florida

Oh, no! I was really counting on Gingrich to win. In short, this sucks. I am not impressed with Gingrich's personal life but he is definitely much more conservative than Romney. At the same time, he is someone that has encouraged Congress to work from the middle.
Mitt Romney crushed Newt Gingrich in the Florida Republican presidential primary Tuesday night, surging from a second-place finish in South Carolina to sweep the winner-take-all contest and reassert his front-runner status.

The victory, in the biggest GOP contest to date, is likely to give the former Massachusetts governor a burst of momentum as he, Gingrich, Rick Santorum and Ron Paul head west to battle in what has become an increasingly negative race.
