You know the women, you see them all the time. They are part of the democrat party of the United States, women like: Hilary Clinton, Janet Napolitano, Rosie O'Donnell, Rachel Maddow, Barbra Streisand, Janet Reno, etc. You get the idea. They are powerful, successful women, who look like men.
In Berkeley, the city is going to vote to place $20,000 aside, annually for the purposes of being able to offer its employees gender reassignment surgeries. Can you say, "hallelujah"?
This is going to be so great for liberal women to finally be able to be who they are on the inside --ugly men! They also will get the government to pay for it. It's like a win-win for everyone, right?
Yes, this is your tax dollars at work. Now, from what I have read, the vote hasn't been made yet.
A quick trip to the Democrat Underground reveals an "awesome" response and a concern that $20,000/year just isn't going to be enough money.
No, it won't. With the amount of liberal women that need to make that final "male switch," the city will most definitely have to beef up the funds for this benefit. I don't know, maybe an extra tax on tampons?
Berkeley is not the only city to offer this benefit. San Francisco has been offering this to its employees since 2001. Clearly, Berkeley is just behind the times. Thank G-d there will soon be another place for people to go!
"We're later than San Francisco, but we still try to be on the forefront of policies to promote people's understanding of same-sex issues," said City Councilman Max Anderson. "It's OK if it's controversial. We're willing to push the envelope a little bit."
They love controversy, as long as it's with other people's money.
