Pelosi Can't Answer a Direct Question - "Are You Serious?"

It is finally becoming more and more apparent that Pelosi isn't qualified to deliver a pizza to a person's home, let alone be speaker of the House.

When asked a direct question about that Constitution - “Madam Speaker, where specifically does the Constitution grant Congress the authority to enact an individual health insurance mandate?" Pelosi is so caught off-guard that her only response is, "Are you serious? Are you serious?"




The reporter was most definitely serious, as are the American people.

Pelosi and the democrats are citing that the Constitution allows for Congress to regulate interstate commerce.

Okay, so, how is insurance considered commerce?

The Commerce Clause is an enumerated power listed in the United States Constitution (Article I, Section 8, Clause 3). The clause states that the United States Congress shall have power "To regulate Commerce with foreign Nations, and among the several States, and with the Indian Tribes".

It states that they have to power to regulate commerce.

Definition of REGULATE

They have provision to regulate, not force people to purchase something. If they can force us to purchase health insurance, then where does their authority end? They could force us to purchase whatever they please.

Please, for the love of all that is Holy, stop comparing this to car insurance. Driving is a choice, and a privilege. You also are required to obtain a license to drive.

Pelosi is so pathetic. My only question is, "Are you seriously this stupid, Nancy?"
