Is Newt Your Man?

The polls are showing Newt Gingrich as a front runner now. What do you think? I actually like Gingrich and with the meltdown from the Cain camp, Newt is someone I feel comfortable standing behind.

Cain Denies Allegations

Republican presidential candidate Herman Cain delivers a speech about foreign policy at Hillsdale College on Nov. 29, 2011 in Hillsdale, Mich.

Will Cain go on? News is looking pretty bleak for Herman Cain and his run for American president. With all the recent allegations from women concerning sexual harassment and a recent claim of a 13-year long affair, it looks and feels as though this is the end of the road for Cain.
“Since I’ve been campaigning all week, I haven’t had an opportunity to sit down with her and walk through this with my wife and my family. I will do that when I get back home on Friday,” Cain told reporters gathered at his New Hampshire campaign headquarters Wednesday night. “I am not going to make a decision until after we talk face to face.”
I wonder what that conversation is going to sound like.

Cain Reconsiders

Oh, no! More bad news for Cain as a new woman has now stepped forward claiming a 13-year long affair.

Ginger White from Atlanta is now claiming that her and Cain had an affair that lasted 13 years.
Mr. Cain denied the accusations from the Atlanta woman, Ginger White. But he acknowledged that the latest report of sexual misconduct might be more difficult to overcome, considering that the first voting is set to take place in five weeks at the Iowa caucuses. He said that he had not lost his enthusiasm to run, but suggested it was a distraction that could be difficult to recover from.
Ms. White came forth in an interview with Fox 5 Atlanta.
The station said that Ms. White produced cellphone bills that included 61 phone calls or text messages to and from a number she said was for Mr. Cain’s private cellphone. When the station sent a text message to the number, Mr. Cain called back and acknowledged knowing Ms. White.

I'm not sure what to think, other than being disappointed. I still support Cain but, I am wondering if he will be able to overcome all these allegations. Even if they are completely false, they have already tainted his candidacy.

Cain is reported to be reconsidering.

Thoughts?

Cain's Accuser is Full of S$%@! Part 2

...and the drama continues...

Here's some more about the little princess crying assault:

This article mentions that she is engaged and never mentioned anything to him about this indecent that took place 14 years ago.

Cain's Accuser is Full of S$%@!

Sharon Bialek, a Chicago-area woman, waits to address a news conference at the Friars …

Yes, I'm saying it. This woman, Sharon Bialek, is just out in the press to get her face in the papers. I was reading the news stories this morning and found this:
Bialek said she encountered Cain at a tea party event earlier this year. "I shook his hand, and he remembered me," she said. "He looked a little uncomfortable."
Now, if what she says is true, that he grabbed her gentiles and pulled her head down, why would she shake his hand years later?
Asked about Cain's characterization of her charges as a "total fabrication," Bialeck stood her ground, saying she went public because "I wanted to give him a platform to come clean, to tell the truth.
She said, "I was trying to be nice about it and it just didn't work."

Cain -- Accused Again of Sexual Harassment

Cain is now again being accused of sexual harassment from a fourth woman. Famous, loud-mouthed, attorney Gloria Allred is representing this new woman.

Sexual Harassment and Cain

It never fails, when there is a successful black man, who is conservative, women come out of nowhere to claim sexual harassment. The liberals did this same thing to Clarence Thomas and now they are going after Herman Cain.

First, let us look at what Cain's camp is saying:
Mark Block, Cain Chief of Staff: "Absolutely and quite frankly, this is one of the actions in America that is the reason people don't get involved in politics, right. The actions of the Perry campaign are despicable. Rick Perry and his campaign owe Herman Cain and his family an apology. Both the Rick Perry campaign and Politico did the wrong thing by reporting something that wasn't true, to anonymous sources in, like I said, they owe Herman Cain and his family an apology."

Rasmussen Reports - Advantage Cain

Is this really happening? Our horribly racist* country has two black guys going at it for president? (Sarcasm should be read here.)* Oh, yeah baby! I love this.
The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey of Likely U.S. Voters shows Cain attracting 43% support, while Obama earns 41%. Given such a matchup, eight percent (8%) prefer some other candidate, and another eight percent (8%) are undecided.

I have already declared my support for Cain. I really enjoy this man. He is not interested in giving everyone a feel good talk. He is willing to send tough love messages to the American people. He talks the talk and walks the walk. This is something we haven't seen in most politicians and I don't care what side of the aisle you find yourself. Cain is definitely the real deal.

What do you think? Will his star fade? Do Romney or Perry still have a chance here? Why or why not? Comment below.

Cain Interview With Lawrence O’Donnell

The problem with our media? No shame. O'Donnell is downright hostile towards Cain in this interview.

I cannot believe O'Donnell suggested Cain avoided Viet Nam. Unbelievable! He was okay with Clinton dodging the draft altogether though, right? To somehow suggest that John Kerry wasn't afraid? This is a guy that went home for having received 3 purple hearts over a burn, a piece of metal, and a paper cut. John Kerry brave? Pfft. Don't make me laugh. I take that back. It does take a lot of courage to be male and have so many Botox treatments.

Liberals just cannot stand a black person who thinks for themselves. It is entirely a frightening thought just for them to entertain.

"Blame Yourself"

Spencer Platt/Getty

That is the message president hopeful Herman Cain is giving to those silly Occupy Wall Street protesters.

This is why Cain resonates with so many people. Like it not, we really are in control over our lives. It is extremely hard to admit this to yourself, if you have been sold a lie all your life that you are just a victim of poor circumstances your entire life. Once you begin to take the journey into a life of personal responsibility, even if you have downfalls (which you will), you free yourself of worrying so much about others. You must take responsibility of yourself, if you ever hope of helping anyone else.

Okay, I'll get off my soap box here...now the question I really have is - what the hell are these protests about anyway? I have not really heard what it is they are hoping to gain by protesting. What exactly are their demands? It just seems to me they are a bunch of bored thugs.

Cain suggests that these protests could be a movement orchestrated by Obama and friends as a way to deter from the real issues at hand like, say, oh...poor investments by the administration.

I'm not really sure. I suppose anything is possible but, one thing is, it does seem to be another left-wing movement designed to stir up trouble, having no clear vision.

New CBS poll shows that Herman Cain is climbing to the top, leaving Perry in the dust. Romney and Cain are tied for first.

So, it looks like The Alternative Conservative (yeah, me), has made the right call. I'm digging this Cain guy. I believe his message is getting out and I can see the libs foaming at the mouth as I write this.

Janeane Garofalo -- Foaming at the Mouth

There are some people who, for whatever reason, have decided to just not think for themselves. They have such a hard time accepting that the crap they believe is not based in reality. In fact, they will try to find any excuse, no matter how unbelievable it may be, to continue to believe what they do.

Janeane Garofalo is a perfect example of the person I am describing. In her latest theory that is actually entertained by, of course, Keith Olbermann, she suggests that people in the Tea Party like Herman Cain because it hides the racist element.

Wow. If I could ask Ms. Garofalo one thing, I think it would be, "Why is it so hard for you to accept that some people do not look at a person's race/color/creed but rather their ideas?" Why is it that democrats/liberals/socialists like Garofalo are so OBSESSED with race?

I'm With Dennis Miller

Dennis Miller has come out on his show and has given his support to Herman Cain for president.

Cain seems to be the only candidate that has a real solution for our country's economy. He calls it the 9-9-9 plan and in this clip below, he explains exactly what this plan is.

Cain recently won a straw poll in Florida so, even though his campaign has been fairly slow, it seems as though this recent victory will put him in the eye of the public. Let's hope so.

Herman Cain Shows Promise

Cain (Joe Burbank/AP)

Cain shows promise for Republicans by winning a recent straw poll in Florida.

He also calls Obama a liar, which is the part of the article I found most appealing.
After a few caffeine-heavy refills at our corner table, I asked him about President Obama's new effort to raise taxes on the wealthy, and Cain just about blew a blood vessel--especially when I mentioned the part where Obama says it's about "math" not "class warfare." "Can I be blunt? That's a lie," Cain said, before the sound of his voice began to rise noticeably higher. "You're not supposed to call the president a liar. Well if you're not supposed to call the president a liar, he shouldn't tell a lie. If it's not class warfare, it's highway robbery. He wants us to believe it's not class warfare, oh okay, it's not class warfare. Pick my pockets, because that's what he's doing!"
Cain paused, took a breath and looked at me.
"I'm not mad at you, I just get passionate about this stuff," he said. "I have to tell people because I get so worked up . . . . I'm listening to all this bullshit that he's talking about, 'fairness' and 'balanced approach' to get this economy going."

I'm not sure if this is enough to put Cain over the top but, I would rather support him than Perry or Romney. I'm still not quite sold on either of those two.

Herman Cain For President 2012

Who is Herman Cain? Well, he's running for president.

A former CEO of Godfather's Pizza and executive at Pillsbury, Cain is a conservative radio host in Atlanta who has been a popular figure on the GOP speaking circuit over the last year. Cain, who is black, is perhaps best known nationally for speaking out last year against charges made by the NAACP that the tea party is made up of "racist elements."

Last month, Cain topped a 2012 presidential straw poll organized by the conservative blog Red State, beating out the likes of Sarah Palin and Mike Huckabee. Still, Cain, who also previously headed the National Restaurant Association, has virtually no name recognition beyond the GOP grass roots and is not even a blip in most early presidential polls — not that he views that as a problem.'

In an interview Wednesday with CNN, Cain said he's been motivated all of his life by people who think he can't win.

"People who say that Herman Cain has no chance of winning the nomination for the Republican Party or win the presidency -- I simply say thank you," he said. "Because all my life I have been in situations where I wasn't supposed to become VP of Pillsbury, I wasn't supposed to be able to turn Godfather's Pizza around. I wasn't supposed to succeed in climbing the corporate ladder in corporate America. So to the people who say I don't have a chance, I say: Thank you. Because that inspires me."

An exploratory committee is generally the first step a potential candidate takes in seeking the White House.  Cain is expected to announce whether he'll formally seek the nomination later this year.

Hey, I like this guy already and I'm definitely voting only because he's black!

Let it sit, it'll be funny in a minute.
