Bill Maher on How Muslim Values and American Values are Different

Is Bill Maher finally finding his way back to the center? Back in the day when Bill was just a host on Politically Incorrect, his views started off fairly libertarian and later on he drifted to the left - far left in many cases. He found himself on HBO after his program was cancelled due to a "too politically incorrect" statement and while conservatives were the ones who disagreed with his statement, they were also the only ones pointing out the injustice of his firing.

Bill once again finds himself in an "unholy" alliance with conservatives who rightly recognize that Islam carries with it values that are not compatible with Western culture.

A certain trend is taking place in America now. The political landscape is changing and rather than liberals vs. conservatives, it seems we are being divided by authoritarian vs. libertarian. No matter what the mainstream liberals will tell us, most liberals in this country are in the center and they still very much value general freedoms. They want nothing to do with a culture that treats women as second-class or stones people for adultery and homosexuality. This is one area where we need to stand together.

If It Looks Like a Bomb.... Check Your White Privilege

Ahmed Mohamed, a 14-year old Muslim in Texas, completed a science project which was making a clock but, it suspiciously looked like a bomb because a briefcase was used. The young man is said to have been evasive about the clock when he was questioned by the teachers about it. Authorities were contacted and the young man was arrested for a few hours.

In the video clip below, Bill Maher defends the decision to arrest the boy stating truthfully that there was nothing wrong with people being concerned about their safety. In short, Muslims are known for blowing stuff up around the world. Mark Cuban also chimes in saying that he actually spoke with the boy on the phone and heard the young man's sister feeding him answers to say.

“For the past 30 years it’s been one culture that has been blowing s**t up over and over again,” Maher added.

On Twitter, Richard Dawkins has called this boy out as being a fraud. Mohamed had claimed that he invented this clock himself but, this video paints a different picture.

The gentleman narrating the video points out that the components of this clock were not invented at all, instead the parts are all manufactured. The boy simply removed the casing on a regular clock. Was this fraud or a hoax? Was the boy trying to get arrested in order to call attention to himself and gain sympathy? Or was this just a lazy kid who was trying to get an easy A?

Perhaps in the next few days we will get a better grasp on what has occurred here. I guess it just depends on how Mohamed will respond and if we learn anything more about him.

The response to Dawkins has been almost hostile. The Tweets responding to him seem to suggest that the boy's dishonesty should be excused because he's only 14. I find that to be a ridiculous excuse. Why would the boy's age matter when many children his same age are capable of invention? If the video above is true, the best we can say is that Mohamed was extremely dishonest and should not be given praise but rather an F and a scolding.

Comments like, "Don't punish him because he's just curious and took a clock apart" seem to demonstrate that many people in our culture feel that participation is good enough. Yet, if that participation is not met with honestly, how is that good?

I guess we will have to wait and see. What do you think?

Rula Jebreal and Bill Maher

Bill Maher once again points out the intolerance of the religion of peace.

Rula Jebreal tries her best to go after Maher - accusing him of not being serious, that Bill is a bigot, suggesting that he does not discuss facts, telling Maher he doesn't allow people to come on his show, and she even accuses Maher of not knowing what he's talking about concerning the different groups/sects of Islam.

Bill Maher Making Sense

It seems as if the last few times I've heard Bill Maher he has brought some truth to the table. Maybe Bill hasn't strayed as far as I once thought. I used to LOVE Politically Incorrect back in my college days but, for some reason he seemed to have strayed over the years, heading over to la-la-liberal-land.

I digress.

This time, Bill Maher is speaking with Charlie Rose and brings up issues about Islam that need to be heard. The issues with homosexuals being beheaded and  women not being treated equal and forced to wear burkas are those that should be a concern for all of us. This is not a benign religion where people have choices.

Sure perhaps Christians are a bunch of hypocrites. I understand but, we do not treat women as second class systematically nor does Christianity advocate women to be tortured or covered up. While I may see Christians leery of supporting homosexual marriage, or supporting the idea that being gay is innate (not learned), I have yet to see one stone a gay man or lesbian to death because of the person's sexuality. If treating women in a respectful manner is important and treating homosexuals with dignity is important, how can the left in this country possibly make any excuses for Islam? How much more of these atrocities must we see before we call a spade a spade?

Thank you, Bill!

Phil Robertson - Not a Free Speech Issue -- It's a Stupidity Issue

Phil Robertson, the man who is on some show called Duck Dynasty was recently suspended for some comments he made in an interview with a magazine. For whatever reason this story is everywhere and it seems nobody can stop talking about it.

First off, this is NOT a free speech issue. I don't know why people keep saying that it is. Mr. Robertson is not sitting in jail for his comments pertaining to the acts of homosexuality -- he said it was unnatural. He was and IS able to say whatever he likes to whomever he likes as it pertains to his faith. A&E also have a right to fire him or suspend him for whatever reason. Obviously they felt the comments were too reactionary for their business and chose to suspend their relationship with him. It's their right to free speech as well.

I have watched a bit of this show, although not enough to say I know the show or who all the characters are. The few parts I have seen were funny and it's obvious the show has done rather well since it seems to be quite popular. We all have the right to disagree with how A&E chose to handle the situation; I have no problem with that. Personally, I am not sure this will work out in their favor but again, it's their prerogative.

This situation reminds me of the time when Bill Maher was fired from Politically Incorrect. Yes, the network had a right to fire Maher but he was on a show called Politically Incorrect for goodness sake! These days I rarely ever agree with Maher but I did support him and I do support Robertson. With that being said, I must support the networks in both of these cases, since I believe they have rights as well. It's how our Constitution works. Rights apply to all, not some.

First, does A&E really expect us to believe they had NO idea who this man was and what his general beliefs were? Are we expected to believe they never saw something like this coming? Really? Also, I thought this was supposed to be a reality show? So much for showing reality when they have decided to completely censor it. This is not an issue of free speech; it's a stupidity issue.

Furthermore, I have to ask how it is going to be possible to treat homosexuals as "equals" when our culture seems to demand that we treat them special or go out of our way to treat them as weak and victims? Do homosexuals really give a rat's behind what this guy said to some magazine? Are gays really this sensitive? I do not happen to believe they are. In fact, I have a suspicion that not many would even know about this had it not been for A&E bringing it to everyone's attention. They are choosing to make this a much bigger deal than what it is. As a result, this only further perpetrates the myth that gays are out to push their lifestyle on others or some other crazy conclusions that come from the far right.

Saying that homosexuality is unnatural is not that inflammatory. Many people believe this. I cannot speak for Robertson but I can say that homosexuality can be observed as abnormal from a biological perspective. (Please note that I said, "can be.") Many of us are abnormal, just in different ways. I have ADD; I am abnormal. It doesn't mean that we should treat people who are abnormal with disrespect and I do not feel this man's comments were meant to be taken that way. He believes in the Bible; he has his faith and last I checked Christianity does demand that we love one another. Not all Christians are the same; some are good and many are just like everyone else -- struggling and trying to improve. No matter what we believe about the topic, we should talk openly about what we believe. It can help all of us grow together and not further apart.

To sum it all up:

1) Phil Robertson is NOT in jail. He has a right to free speech. A&E also have a right to their free speech to fire him for comments they decided reflected poorly on their network.

2) A&E's show Duck Dynasty is obviously NOT a reality show; it is an entertainment show where the characters improv as themselves.Words and actions that do not correspond to the network's liking are censored.

3) The comments that were made to the magazine are those shared by millions of Americans. Right or wrong, agree or disagree, drawing all this attention to them only sends a signal that homosexuals will remain perpetual victims. The action of A&E serves only to perpetuate myths.

4) If homosexuals are equal than they should be equally criticized. There should be no sacred cows in our culture.

5) This is a stupidity issue. There is no way that A&E did not know who this man was or what his general beliefs were. They knew full well what type of values and beliefs this man and his family held BEFORE they signed them on to do a show.

6) No matter what any of us believe, we are still ALL Americans. At the end of the day, we all share the same country. We are all different. None of us are perfect. We all have our beliefs and we all have a right to be tolerated AND criticized by others, provided that we are not physically harming anyone or their property. We are all made fun of and ridiculed; we all need to grow some skin. If you are offended by what Robertson said, than you need to understand that things you say probably offend people as well. It's life. It's not easy for anyone.

7) Love yourself; love everyone else; do your best and worry about what YOU believe and say. Don't worry about some nobody on tv who doesn't really affect you anyway. Listen to others who disagree with you; learn from them. Try not to be so sensitive.

Rush Calls Some Slut a Slut and Everyone Gets Sand in Their Collective V@g!n@

Georgetown law student Sandra Fluke

Rush Limbaugh recently called some girl by the name of Sandra Fluke a slut. Apparently she is a law student and she is advocating for "reproductive health care needs" which means condoms and other types of birth control.

NOW Refused to Comment on Bill Maher's Recent Comment

It is now being reported that NOW was asked to make a comment about Bill Maher's recent joke, calling Sarah Palin a, "dumb twat."
Bill Maher uttered a female vulgarism when referring to former Republican VP candidate Sarah Palin on his HBO show Friday night.

“Did you hear this – Sarah Palin finally heard what happened in Japan and she’s demanding that we invade ‘Tsunami,’” Maher said. “I mean she said, ‘These ‘Tsunamians’ will not get away with this.’ Oh speaking of dumb tw**s, did you…”

Maher was offering an imagined Palin response in an apparent attempt at humor, as Palin had made no such statement.
Not sure how surprising this is. In fact, it's not surprising to me at all. Of course NOW only cares about women who are democrat or liberal. They do not support ALL women and never have.

Ann Coulter -- Bill Maher Debate

I thought I would post this here so that people who view it, may comment. Whoever posted it on youtube, disabled the comments.

The actual debate begins with the second video, as the first one is just the introduction. Enjoy and comment below.

I feel like it's so obvious how afraid liberals are of Ann expressing her conservative opinion. At some points, you can't even hear her because they are so unbelievably disrespectful.

Ann is absolutely right about the stem cell issue. I have wrote about this issue on my blog. The private industry is more than welcome to use embryonic stem cells but, they do not fund in this area because nothing has come of it. Private industry moves where there is promise to make money. The idea that labs are asking for funding from the government is proof in of itself what a failure this area has shown to be.

I know for a fact how political things have become in the area of science and government funded research. The so-called science that liberals seem to revere is not science at all but, a way for them to get money from the government to live off of, while basically doing nothing. They get money while the American people get nothing but a bunch of lies shoved down their throats.

Polanski Decision From Swiss Officials

AP Photo/Michel Euler
The decision from Swiss officials to extricate Roman Polanski to the US, will be made soon, according the report. Click title of this post for full story.
Justice Ministry spokesman Folco Galli says "It won't be long" before a decision on the extradition request. He declined to be more specific.
What on earth has taken them this long? What is there to decide? The man drugged and raped a 13 year old CHILD.

Of course there are those nitwits that actually try and defend the actions of this man, like Whoopi Goldberg.

She uses this completely inane phrase, "rape-rape" that just drives me up a wall. I literally want to shout at my computer screen playing this piece from 'The View.' Could someone please explain to Whoopi that we look at the drugging and sodomizing of a 13 years old as rape because, it's WRONG?! There may very well be other places that look at this differently but, that's simply proof that we [US], are BETTER than other places.

Cultures may be different but, they does not make morality relative. We have a superior culture. I make no apologies for making that statement. I wouldn't want to be any other place on earth. Why would you want to live somewhere that thinks there may be times in which an old man can rape a 13 year old and, it could be okay? Absolute utter nonsense! I cannot believe this woman is still on the air for what she said and advocated.

Bill Maher gets thrown off tv for making a comment about, one countries terrorist is another man's freedom fighter but, this woman continues to be allowed on 'The View' for justifying what Roman Polanski did to a 13 year old? I am absolutely disgusted by this woman. I refuse to watch that show until, she is ushered out!

First, they have that stupid Rosie O'Dummy and, now they have this idiot? Aren't there any decent women in this country that can fill that spot? Why can't they have another conservative on the show? Make it two on two, instead of three on one? Is it so hard for the left wing channels to allow another point of view to be made, especially on a show that has the audacity to call itself, 'The View'?

Whoopie, you outta be ashamed of yourself! In this clip, you mention you have a grandchild that is 13. I pray to G-d that your granddaughter never comes across the likes of someone like Roman Polanski. It would be absolutely horrifying to see your own grandmother justify the actions of your rapist.
