Larry Grathwohl's Bringing Down America

Bringing Down America, Frank Reagan’s sensitive rendering
of Larry Grathwohl’s experiences, deserves a place alongside other classic Vietnam war memoirs and memoirs about the "chilly
scenes”of disintegration of American culture in the 1970’s. It is a story that people like Robert Redford, Bill Ayers, and Bernardine
Dohrn continue to work hard to suppress.

Among us, the enemy lives. “Bringing Down America”  has been re-released for a second publication. Now we have more reason than ever to understand the dangers of those on the far-left who are sworn enemies of their own country. This book takes you back to the 70's and reveals truths that many of us already know but goes a few layers deeper, providing a first hand account of what happens inside the world of the well-known radical group called the Weatherman.

Bill Ayers, Bernadine Dohrn, Mark Rudd, Brian Flanagan, Naomi Jaffe, Laura Whitehorn, to name a few. Those names might sound familiar but unfortunately many in the mainstream media and Hollywood have only bothered to tell part of their story to the American people.

For anyone who is curious about radicals and their motives, or anyone who is unaware of what leftist radical groups have done inside of this country, “Bringing Down America” will enlighten, educate, and grip you, giving your firsthand insight into this absurd, dangerous group of people. On one hand they proclaim they abhor war, specifically the Vietnam War but on the other hand, they actively encouraged the youth in America to uprise against the government using forceful, violent means.

Larry Grathwohl grew up in Cincinnati. He had humble beginnings that were riddled with family problems and rebellious behavior. He finally decided to enlist in the Army knowing this move would help prove himself to the woman he fell in love with in high school, as well as fulfill his dream of jumping out of airplanes for the 101st Airborne. After serving time in Viet Nam, he came back to find himself meeting a pair of unusual radicals who implored him to come to their meeting where they would talk about bringing down “the pigs.”

This chance encounter led Larry to becoming an informant for the FBI. His experience as it is depicted in the book gives the reader the feeling that you are reading fiction. The characters seem surreal clothed in their hatred of America and capitalism. This is not fiction at all; it's real.

For me, this book took some time to read, even though I was anxious to keep reading. In fact, I had to read many parts over again. I kept stopping and looking up names and information to go further into the story. Some parts were very difficult to absorb. I felt downright frightened knowing this was a true story with real people, many of whom still exist today and continue pushing their psychotic agenda through teaching our youth at universities and saturating the media with their toxic ideology. There was a part concerning a young child and her mother that literally drove me to tears. I broke down and cried like a baby. I could not understand how these people could think and do the things they did.

The book reveals many different contradictions concerning the message and goals of the Weatherman. They say they support the common man and insist on equality yet, their own inherent secrecy and the way they hid collectives and activities from other collectives or groups clearly demonstrated that there was nothing "equal" about their organization.

The problem with radical leftists and communists is that they claim to believe in the "good for all" but if someone stands in their way, they are considered the enemy and should be eliminated. How are they any different from what they espouse to hate? How can they not see that they are equally oppressive, if not more than capitalists? At least inside of a capitalist society, damage can be limited or contained, with communism any type of corruption affects the whole and there is no mitigation. It's all or nothing -- black and white, yet for some reason they fail to understand the irony.

There is one very bright spot in this book that provided me comfort and that is, of course, Larry. It is people like him who keep me going and keep me believing in this great country of ours.

I am a natural optimist as anyone close to me knows but there are times when my heart is strained. Following the main events that have occurred in our country over the years, I sometimes feel as if there is no hope. Is there anybody working for the side of good anymore? Is everyone a psychopath looking to gain power over other people? It's people like Larry who have done the unthinkable for most of us that help destroy my pessimism. He is a true hero and I'm proud to call him a friend. His story is absolutely incredible.

“Bringing Down America” can be purchased directly from Larry's website. Don't stop with just this book either. Larry has many different writings, as well as interviews that can be found all over the web. His blog will help you find links and other information for anyone who is wanting to know the truth about these organizations. The threat continues to this day and now is the time to get informed.

Why? Why does all this matter now, you ask? Well, it's because these people are still around and they are still peddling their lies to the American people. Bill Ayers continues to deny that the Weatherman killed anyone. Tell that to the families of Sergeant Brian McDonnellSergeant Edward O'Grady, and Officer Waverly Brown who were all victims of this terrorist organization. McDonnell was killed in a bomb explosion  at Park Police Station in San Francisco, CA, (see below for Jim Pera's words on this). This was the bomb planted by Dohrn, who has yet to pay for her murderous act. Eight other police officers were wounded in that bombing, yet Ayers claims his group "never hurt anyone." She freely roams this planet masquerading as a Clinical Associate Professor of Law in Chicago.

Hollyweird's actor Robert Redford recently decided to release a propaganda film, The Company You Keep that centers around the activities of the Weatherman. The film attempts to romanticize radical movements of the 60's and 70's. Typical.

The left never seems to stop forcing their rewritten history on our country and doing their best to target the youth. Their goals seem to focus on conformity and purging basic human rights like freedom of expression and freedom of association. No ideology is without its problems yet, communism has repeatedly proved to be nothing but disturbing and detrimental on every level -- political, economical, and social. Just where do they believe they are going to find these benign people who will run our government? They themselves? People that kill and attack innocents for no reason and without warning? They think they are peaceful? They actively proclaim their disdain for our military, portraying them as rabid animals who kill for fun, yet somehow they are able to do the most extreme mental gymnastics that allow themselves to believe they are fighting for a better cause. Oh, the narcissism runs deep with this crowd.

In 2010, Bernadine is still pushing her lies and hate:

If you look into her eyes, they are no different from those of a serial killer -- that blank stare, soulless, callous, and unremorseful.

These people are walking around, enjoying their lives off the fruits and labor of those who they hate and want to destroy. They are still working to destroy America, make no mistake about it. Arm yourself with information; know thy enemy.

Order the book; read it. It's well worth it to educate yourself so that you can gain a greater understanding of what we are witnessing now in this current political climate of ours.

Another MUST read book from Jim Pera:

http://www.amazon.com/dp/B007DMGEQ2

Jim Pera --  I wrote a book based on my experiences as a San Francisco Police Officer. The Weather Underground and in particular, Bernardine Dohrn, the wife of Bill Ayers, bombed Park Police Station on Feb. 16, 1970. In the bombing, my sergeant, Brian McDonnell was killed and nine of my fellow officers were wounded. This is the only bombing they won't acknowledge because there is no statute of limitation on murder. My novel is based on this and other occurrences that I was either on the scene at or have knowledge of and follows a fictitious group of radicals from that day to the present and describes how they are undermining academia and government. It is a tale of revenge and I live vicariously through my character and do to them what I couldn't do in real life but wish I could have. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B007DMGEQ2 My good friend, Larry Grathhwohl, who infiltrated the Weather Underground for the FBI and fingered Dohrn as the bomber of my station also has a book out describing his experiences. Information on his book and other information including videos about his experiences and some of our speeches can be accessed at www.bringingdownamerica.com Our books parallel each other mine is fiction based on real events and is is a history of those real events.

The speaker in the film, Jeff Jones is an admitted Marxist, a co founder of the Apollo Alliance and Acorn and is is one of the authors of President Obama's stimulus package. Bill Ayers and Bernardine Dohrn are friends and confidants of Obama's in whose home he launched his political career. Obama met his wife Michelle in the law firm that he went to work at, the same law firm that Bernardine Dohrn worked.

In 1981 Kathy Boudin and David Gilbert, in a joint operation with the Black Panthers, held up a Brinks Armored Car in Nyack, N.Y., and killed a Brinks guard and two police officers. Ayers and Dohrn raised Boudin and Gilbert's son, Chesa, while they were in prison. Gilbert is still in prison but Boudin is a professor at Columbia University  having been paroled. Their son, adopted by Ayers and Dohrn, has in addition to other adventures, served as an advisor to the late President Hugo Chavez of Venezuela.
