The Story About The White Girl Who Pretended To Be Black

Rachel Dolezal has now resigned but, she was holding the title of  presidency at Spokane’s NAACP chapter. Of course that title is a pretty great accomplishment for a black American woman. The only problem is, Rachel Dolezal is not black. She's actually a white girl who was born with blonde hair and blue eyes.

Interestingly in 2002 Rachel was known as Rachel Moore and she was attending Howard University. She would sue them claiming discrimination for being white.
According to a Court of Appeals opinion, Dolezal's lawsuit “claimed discrimination based on race, pregnancy, family responsibilities and gender.” She alleged that Smith and other school officials improperly blocked her appointment to a teaching assistant post, rejected her application for a post-graduate instructorship, and denied her scholarship aid while she was a student.
The court opinion also noted that Dolezal claimed that the university’s decision to remove some of her artworks from a February 2001 student exhibition was “motivated by a discriminatory purpose to favor African-American students over” her.
The case was thrown out but sometime between then and now, she became a black woman. Her appearance was altered and she went through great pains to create an entire new narrative about her life and upbringing.

A closer look reveals that Rachel has long had issues and drama follow her. In 2005 she divorced her husband claiming abuse and that he made her film in a homemade video complete with carnal tones.

Her brother  Joshua Dolezal, supports her abuse claims yet, he himself is in some serious trouble - facing four felony counts of child sexual assault.

Apparently black is not all Rachel claimed to be:
Spokane officials are investigating whether she lied about her ethnicity when she landed an appointment to the city's police oversight board. On her application, she said her ethnic origins included white, black and American Indian.
Rachel has also made numerous claims concerning hate crimes. She apparently received some threats through the mail but officials determined that the letter she received did not actually go through the postal office, rather it was a piece of mail that had to have been placed inside the box by someone with access to the key - her (well, that seems to be the implication anyway). It is also reported when she lived in Idaho that she made no less than eight, yes eight claims of racial hate crimes.

In the video below, the reporter asks her about her experience in Idaho. She claims someone put a noose in her tree that her sons had discovered. The gentleman explains to her that it was later determined that it was not a noose but rather a rope that the owner of the property had admitted to having and using to hang deer after hunting. Rachel denies this and even claims that this wasn't the first time she's encountered a noose. At the very end of this video she tells the interviewer that her dad is ill with lung cancer and when he confronts her with a picture of her father, she confirms the man in the picture is her dad. The reporter flat out asks her if she is African American. The look on her face is just unreal and after an uncomfortable pause she says she doesn't understand the question and walks off. Watch for yourself:

Later she tells Matt Lauer that she identifies as being black. She explains that when she was young she used brown crayons to color pictures she made of herself.

But let's back up for a minute...

About a month ago, some other issues came up concerning this woman's behavior.
An independent investigation into Rachel Dolezal and two other members of Spokane’s volunteer Ombudsman Commission has found “behavioral misconduct during interactions with City employees,” according to KHQ and KREM.

The article further goes on to say:
According to the report, persistent, if minor, harassment from Dolezal, Berkompas, and Dominguez caused another employee to resign. Dolezal was also criticized in the report for a perceived anti-police bias and for leaking confidential information.
Going even further back, here are some videos that have been recently posted that show Rachel talking about her experience as a black women. I really couldn't get through all of them but I am posting them here for reference. Watch if you like but, for the most part she is just rattling on and on about herself, which I suppose is the whole point of doing this type of interview but, now that she has been exposed, these videos offer us a bit of insight into the lengths this woman went to in order to keep up her deceit.

Rachel's race-fraud has really sparked a number of different emotions among people throughout this country. There is a lot of confusion about how one should feel about Rachel and what she did.

I will start out by saying that this women needs serious help. What she did goes well beyond someone just struggling with a racial identity. I think there are many other people who may feel they are more comfortable with a race different from their own. There are likely many white people who feel they identify much more with being black - for whatever various reasons. There are probably black people who feel more comfortable being around white people. Of course black folks who want to be white don't have the benefit of switching race by going to a tanning booth the way Rachel did.

Here is a link to Rachel making the claim that there is no proof the people who claim to be her parents are her biological parents. Wow.

Here are my problems with Rachel:

1) She first claimed she experienced racism as a white person - accusing blacks of being racist toward her. She even went so far as to sue Howard University. This case was dropped and went nowhere.

2) She then marries a black man and makes various accusations about him being abusive toward her yet, nothing ever comes of this (as far as I can tell). Did the abuse really occur? The ex-husband has denied this completely and the court found him not to be a threat to the children.

3) At some point she "transfers" her race and begins to refer to herself as bi-racial. She claims she began with changing her hair style. It would seem to me that the hair she wears is a full head piece that is quite expensive and can take many hours to fully complete.

4) At some point, Rachel began making claims that she spent time in South Africa. She also told people she was born in a tepee and even hunted with a bow and arrow.

5) It is then reported that she began making claims of hate crimes. We know of at least eight that occurred in Ohio and there appear to be more cases in Washington. Here a few cases that were found on public records:
November 2009: employees at the Human Rights Education Institute reported finding a swastika stuck to the side of the building. Police interviewed Dolezal and dusting for fingerprints, but found no match. Security cameras which operated at the facility did not record what happened and the case was closed.
April 2010: Dolezal reported someone left a vulgar and threatening phone message, saying she favored the dark-skinned students in her class over the light-skinned students. Police determined it was a one-time call and they didn't have evidence to prosecute.
June 2010: Dolezal reported finding what she believed was a rope fashioned into a noose hanging outside her Coeur d'Alene home. She told investigators she felt threatened by the noose because someone had threatened her at work about her ethnicity. Investigators talked to a neighbor who owned the property. He told them "he hung a deer up there [about a year ago] and he believes the rope is from that time." He told investigators that he mentioned that information to Dolezal. Investigators say they called Dolezal, but she never returned their call and the case was closed.
It should be noted that both in Idaho and Spokane, Rachel reported finding a noose on her property.

Not one of these cases has produced a suspect nor an arrest. Nothing. All the "hate crimes" lead to a situation that is completely innocuous or the suspicion is placed on Dolezal herself.

6) Apparently Rachel isn't the only one who makes claims of racial hate crimes. One of Rachel's sons, who may be her biological son or her adopted brother she also claims is her son (yeah, really weird), filed a report with police saying that two males had called him the n-word, scared both of them, and they went into a grocery store where they accidentally knocked a number of wine bottles over because they were so scared.

Well, it turns out security cameras showed a completely different version of events had unfolded. The young man and his friend were actually playing basketball in the store and they had run into the wine display due their negligent behavior. They then told the store clerk that the display knocked over on its own. The police spoke with the friend who admitted they were the ones who knocked over the display and that no one called Rachel's son any name; they were not running from anyone.

So basically this kid didn't want to take responsibility for what he and his friend did so instead he created an elaborate story in order to "blame it on the white guy." Gee, I wonder where he would learn to do something like this? Young kids do not typically come up with these types of stories out of nowhere. This is behavior that has clearly been learned from the people around him. The entire event seems to give even more credibility to the claims that Rachel's continued claims of hate crimes are indeed fake.

7) More claims of being a victim are rolling in. Now it is being reported that Rachel has claimed her brother Joshua, the one who's facing four counts of child sexual assault, attacked Rachel.
Joshua Dolezal was reportedly about 16 or 17 when he threw the older sister to the ground, pulling up her shirt and allegedly sexually abusing her, according to the documents. The older sister said Joshua Dolezal showed her National Geographic photos of topless African women and told her that he masturbated to them.

--------------------------------

I'm not sure what else will come out about this woman. Once I started searching her name, it seemed as if more and more stories were found. To top it off she's been doing several interviews and it's quite clear this woman is extremely delusional. She expresses no shame and takes on no responsibility for anything she's done. She doesn't even seem to grasp that she's done anything wrong.

To me it's quite clear these claims of racism and hate crimes against her are unfounded and completely fabricated by Rachel herself. Of course none of this helps blacks in the slightest way. In fact all this does is question what her real motives are. It seems Rachel is a women who suffers from histrionics and pathological lying.

Instead of doing television interviews, she should be encouraged to seek some mental health treatment. The issue of "trans-racial" is a NON-issue in this case. Rachel is mentally ill, not because she identifies with blacks, it's because she has created an elaborate background story about her life and for years made outrageous claims that simply are not true.
