So the past 24 hours or so I've found myself in a debate on Facebook with a couple of delusional ignorant liberals. Of course, things got heated and I should have known beforehand I was wasting my time, so I have no one to blame but myself. I have had dealings with their idiocy before on other topics. I'm convinced that far-left "liberalism" is a cancer, not that I didn't know this already.
It began last week when I celebrated the British and their Brexit vote. To me, this was quite a victory for our famous ally and to my shock, a pair of liberal Americans (from a debate group), did not share my enthusiasm. One of them began to pout and turned into a gloomy-Gary (yes, I'm making that a name now like "negative Nancy"). His only concern was his money. Now mind you, the British government had already laid out plans for the possibility of an exit and had announced that the initial first days would be volatile but eventually they would level out. I didn't even bother pointing this out to him because I was on the other end of my computer laughing hysterically since this man, an American mind you, all of a sudden wanted us to believe he was an expert in the market.

Obama, Biden, Democrats, Impeachment
Yes, indeed Obama had a reason for picking his running mate Biden. By doing so, he also assured himself that no attempts on his life would be made either.
Talk of impeachment has been increasing since Obama announced he would be using executive order for the purposes of overhauling our immigration policy.
A senior aide to a House Republican told MailOnline on Friday that 'Avoiding the "I" word' is a case of 'better the devil you know than the devil you don't.'
'Only in this case, we're pretty sure we know both devils. And Biden – he's two floppy shoes short of a complete clown outfit. Let's be honest: He's Obama's insurance policy.'According to the article in The Daily Mail, it seems as though Gowdy is being very honest. He states that the idea of impeaching Obama is simply not a solution and rather it is pundits who are discussing the idea.
He is right. It is because of so many different political pundits and 24 hour news stations these radical ideas are discussed and suggested will occur.
Still the idea of a president ignoring Congress, ignoring the American people in order to change the immigration law does seem to be an impeachable offense however, it would be much better to figure out exactly what it is he is planning on doing and what he actually does. Could the threat alone be enough for Congress to be proactive and perhaps find a way to initiate a compromise? Perhaps that's just wishful thinking.
One thing I do believe, I hope, we can all agree none of us want this man in Obama's place:

American Wisdom
America is currently witnessing great polarity within our culture. There are those that would like to change many basic American principles and replace them with old ideas that reflect those of the European world -- the world our founding fathers left in hopes for a new life. Then there are those of us who desire to move towards preserving the value of individual freedom and responsibility. Of course we also have people who all over the spectrum. There are those who do not subscribe to any ideology, traditional or otherwise, so their opinions often seem to contradict one another. There seem to be quite a number of citizens who do not involve themselves at all in politics viewing it as worthless because they have been encouraged to be jaded or felt to believe their voice does not matter. Still, the idea of evolving into something else remains strong in today's current political climate.
My personal view is one that believes in American wisdom. The belief that all who desire more can receive more and this can best be gained through teaching personal responsibility and valuing individual, G-d given rights.
My criticism of the current American left comes into play when I see and hear the words of those who have expressed American tradition as being evil, racist, and blasting capitalism as a purely corrupt system. These are people who subscribe to the zero-sum principle which is to hold the idea that if one person gains, another person must be losing. They have somehow convinced themselves that there are only so many resources, that everything is limited or constricted in some way and this includes individual's abilities and talents. The far left loves to remind us of our country's poverty, racism, crimes that involve guns, intolerance to homosexuality and other sexual taboo behavior, "imperialism," evil capitalism, war, corrupt police, and of course our lack of "free" healthcare.
To be fair, these issues do exist but does it never occur to the modern day far left that these things have always existed in some way, shape, or form? Does it not occur to them that countries around the world that hold a variety of different types of government/beliefs/ideologies also experience these same woes, most being even worse when compared to ours?
The fact is, we must deal in reality when it comes to understanding the nature of why these problems occur in the first place. By spending our time constantly focusing on what is wrong, we lose sight of what is right in our world; we divide ourselves. If you listen to the left long enough, you will come away thinking in false dichotomies. To them we have the haves and have nots; minorities vs. whites, heterosexual vs. LGBT's, intelligent vs. stupid, capitalism vs. socialism, and the list goes on and on. They draw attention to differences and problems and wonder why polarity increases along with the problems. The far-right does this as well but the difference is that the far-right has very few outlets to express their views, so much of their message is widely ignored.
Individuals are powerful. The importance of protecting individuals is vital for a culture that wants to grow as a whole. The left is focused on the "common good" so much so that they ignore or underestimate the power of the individual. They mock conservatives who believe that the poor can overcome their circumstances because they believe that the examples of those who have raised themselves to higher statuses are anecdotal and are based on luck. They do not posses the insight and wisdom that dictates hard work and gratitude can help people increase their life and the lives of those around them. They have such a disbelief in this principle that they actually tell the poor they will remain poor no matter what they do. The more moderate will state that the poor can only do well if only the liberal policies can be implemented. Those who are ill can only get the help they need if their precious health care bill gets passed. Yes, if only the evil Republicans would go away your grandmother could live forever and collect Social Security in order to bake you cookies.
Listen to Michael Moore as he tells Wolf Blitzer that there is only room for so many people at the top. This is a far-left wing ideologue who is just like so many in this country who has plenty of his own money from working hard but he's here to tell the rest of America that there is only so much wealth to go around. Notice how he is promoting the idea of limitation, this is exactly what the zero-sum argument is. There is only one pie and it can only be cut up into a certain amount of pieces. Also notice how he likes to separate the top "one percent" from the rest of us. This is very typical hyperbole from the far left because they refuse to understand our connection with each other. He speaks of the one percent as being separate from us rather than being one of us.
The fact is liberals either do not know or do not want you to know, it does not matter what system a person is living in, those who want to become successful and develop themselves into characters who desire more for themselves can and will achieve. You can be who you want in any system; the world will open up opportunities for you. If you are poor in a capitalist system, you will remain poor in a socialist system as well only you will also be much more likely to lose many individual rights; this indeed holds true under communist regimes where poor individuals have almost no rights.
When you have a culture and government that promotes the importance of general moral principles and rewards morality, you can then increase the amount of moral individuals. Moral individuals who do well and succeed will operate their businesses in moral ways offering valuable jobs, goods, and services. Using this principle there is ultimately no reason for businesses to actually "compete" with one another because when individuals are working for the good and using moral principles, they will be responding to the needs of the whole.
Liberals actively engage in destroying taboos and promoting immorality. They support the efforts of Hollywood that increase exposure to sexuality of all kind, demonetization of religion or tradition, the promotion of breaking down the normal family unit by belittling the importance of fathers, and even slander the free market by labeling it "legalized greed," just as Michael Moore stated in the video clip above. After they twist and turn definitions and bring messages of moral relativity to the population, they then become shocked when things go bad, like businesses not paying taxes or offering better pay and benefits.
Honestly, how can you expect businesses to be honorable and make good decisions if you are promoting individuals to be immoral or have no real concept of right and wrong? How can anyone possibly expect government officials to behave in a certain way if our culture is currently determined to promote values that are in exact opposition of how you expect them to behave?
Humans are complex but they are not complicated. Regardless of race, sex, or lifestyle we all desire to grow and become more but if we live among many individuals who act immorally and who promote pessimistic ideas it does indeed become more difficult to overcome bad circumstances. Even if a person is able to do so they will treat others poorly because they have never been shown a more superior way to behave. True success cannot be found among those that compete and use others for the sole purpose of clawing their way to the top. These people abuse their power by abusing others, spreading even more content and anxiety.
If however, more individuals do act morally we will have more examples for people to follow and emulate. Having these examples coupled with faith and gratitude can actually help people overcome their personal challenges, rise above, and become great examples themselves.
We have to stop pitying people and look at them more as those who have yet to advance themselves. We must believe in our fellow man the way we believe in our source, our G-d, our own spirit. The best way to connect with our source and receive those blessings come from having self-interest and promoting self-interest. Only by gaining more in life can we possibly help ourselves, our families, and others. There is absolutely nothing wrong or greedy about wanting to obtain wealth and success unless you are someone who enjoys promoting the failure of others and yourself. The only person we can control is ourselves, not others. If we cannot help ourselves, we are of no value to anyone. We cannot merely preach to others about what they should do; we must be an example for them.
What example do modern day liberals give us? Their promotion of immorality and/or moral relativism has brought an increase in many problems we face. They use scare tactics to convince people they have a "solution" for these problems yet they have to know that there will never be a cure. It is ultimately up to individuals to make the first move. Their only solutions come with government and the payment for these solutions is individual liberty -- personal responsibility. Personal responsibility is how people learn and move to overcome their personal obstacles.
Of course the government is influential in people's lives and of course the government can help in many areas of life, but using the government's influence as a way of promising people things that can really only be solved by the individuals themselves is abusive. This means that while government is necessary, it does not mean that government should be intrusive to an extent that takes away a person's identity and/or choices. Doing so removes personal responsibility and gives people an excuse to refrain from advancing as individuals; people can blame their government, their circumstances, others, or we take away their entire motivation.
Again, I say that those who are at the top now will still be at the top in a socialized system but under socialism or communism we know its very construct promotes a disbelief in individuals being able to succeed which only breeds more complacency. Focusing on issues that concern the modern left only increases the existence of those issues.
When individuals work to become moral, they learn to develop an understanding of being their brother's keeper. This means being honest with others and shaming those who do wrong rather than being politically correct and avoid the criticism of bad behaviors. We have slowly become people who are afraid to criticize anything immoral or unnatural for fear of being labeled and shunned. When we draw attention to racism against minorities, we encourage minorities to play the role of victim. When we call attention to the poor, we discourage people to become wealthy. When we say money is limited only to those few privileged in the world, we indeed create limitations on others. We indeed create our reality but not just for ourselves but for those around us who are weaker. This is why it is so important to understand the importance of being accountable to our brothers and sisters -- we are all brothers and sisters and if we love each other, we are honest with one another and we are good examples for them. Pitying them is telling them we do not believe in them. We are telling them they cannot succeed; they cannot overcome.
Remember that mathematics teaches us the term infinity, which defines numbers increasing or decreasing in value with no end. There are no limitations, in any direction. Anyone who tells you that there is only so much of anything in this world is a liar and an insecure person who is desperate and afraid of you and even their own shadow.
I'm not advocating our country get rid of all safety nets for those in need or that we need to do away with food stamps or help with daycare or any of that nonsense that many on the left claim the right wants. It's absurd and quite frankly a nasty attack. What I do ask is that we promote morality and that we offer pragmatic solutions coupled with help that involves teaching others how to see this world as expanding, advancing, and that we all have a place in this world, connected with one another as human beings, not divided.
As individuals we are powerful and having self-interest and a burning desire to succeed is not just important to the individual but it's important to the whole. The more we can encourage people to advance themselves, the more we advance as a whole. This is American wisdom and this is what we should work to preserve, not dismantle.
My personal view is one that believes in American wisdom. The belief that all who desire more can receive more and this can best be gained through teaching personal responsibility and valuing individual, G-d given rights.

The Obamacare Issue
Sen. Ted Cruz (R., Texas) leaves the floor of the Senate after a testy exchange with Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D., Nev.) at the start of legislative business, at the Capitol in Washington, Monday, Sept. 23, 2013.
Both Republicans and democrats are accusing the other of attempting a government shut down. A recent bill passed by the House has excited Harry Reid who has decried:
“Inside the House Republican bubble, the crowd cheered a plan to deny health insurance to tens of millions of Americans or else shut down the government,’’ Mr. Reid said at the outset of a debate that is expected to stretch into next weekend before any significant votes are taken. ‘President Obama has been clear. I have been clear. Any bill that defunds Obamacare is dead on arrival in the Senate.’’Ted Cruz (R., Texas) has responded to Mr. Reid, saying:
“There is a tendency in this town toward brinksmanship, towards pointing to events that can cause instability and uncertainty and using them to try to get your way."I'm surprised that democrats are shocked by the reluctance Republicans have at supporting this bill. The people that placed the Republicans into office did so expecting them to do what they could to block the bill or stop it. Many people on the right have been against the bill and for good reason.
Recent reports are revealing how the bill is already causing quite a stir among different states and how it is already creating chaos.
Different states are doing different things in order to comply with the bill's instructions. Some people will face major hikes in their insurance costs, some almost double or triple the rates. Other states like NY already have high rates so their increase will not be as greatly felt by those currently paying for insurance.
Another report by Bloomberg makes mention of how a great increase in the number of those insured is causing concern among many healthcare professionals. People who have not seen a doctor for quite sometime will inevitably flood doctors, forcing increased waiting time for all patients. Another challenge will be treating those people who have missed their "ideal" window to get treatment. The costs will be huge and since the bill never got proper funding in the first place, as evidenced by the current fiasco in Congress, one is forced to question what will be demanded in funds for healthcare costs in the future?
Some people do not seem to be as concerned. They have voiced opinion that while there may be a slight increase in visits, it will not be as overload as many are claiming or expecting will happen. However, this other, not-so-concerned opinion, seems to contradict what we have already seen happen in Massachusetts, when under Romney, the state went almost universal health care. Increase in patients and treatment did increase and seems to remain high while simultaneously forcing health care providers to deny new patients. Some practices have closed altogether.
Costs up, demand up, accessibility --a soon to be all time low.
To those of us that read the bill -- which I did and struggled to do so -- it appears to be a carte blanche check to the Secretary of Health and Human Services . Yeah, Kathleen Sebelius, the one who made "unintentional errors" on her taxes. In almost every paragraph this title (Secretary of Health and Human Services), is mentioned as the final source to determine A, B, and C of the entire bill. In short, she can approve whatever she likes and give no reason for doing so; there is no oversight. Remember Pelosi's little, "We have to pass the bill in order to find out what's in it" line? Well, Pelosi was telling us the truth. You can't possibly know what was being passed when the Secretary herself has not yet released her strategy.
The bill was a joke to begin with. It was disjointed and clearly written by several different people. In addition almost nobody had time to read the bill. Congress was only given a short window to get through the monstrous bill and many admitted to voting even though they had not read the bill in its entirety.
The democrats want us to believe that somehow conservatives who disapprove of the bill are only doing so because of some sort of deep-seated, selfish need. Some on the left have made vile attacks toward those on the right. They have made claims that we want to see people suffer in illness simply because they are poor. The demonetization of the right tactic by the left has quite frankly gotten rather old. There are many issues with the bill and not one of them concerns a desire to see people suffer.
First, the bill was incomplete to begin with. It was rushed and pushed through as a political move. There is no organization to the implementation of coverage and no uniformity. Many in healthcare have no idea what is going to happen next, what to expect, or how they are going to handle the increase in demand be it a slow or fast. None of these issues were thought out well enough. Other options were not even considered by those on the left. Sure, we can all agree that there needs to be access for care no matter what economic status one is from but why not just expand Medicare and allow more competition between insurance companies? We will also have many with previous conditions now seeking medical care which is great on the surface but how will that affect us? How will we compensate for the costs?
What about the many people who bring about their own health problems compared to those that take care of themselves? Many healthy people are rewarded for their efforts to take care of their bodies with lower costs in healthcare. Now their costs will rise in order to compensate for the costs of people who do nothing but sit on a coach day and night while snacking on junk food, drinking beer, and smoking cigarettes even though they have been diagnosed with diabetes or some other long term medical condition. Healthy people will be forced to carry insurance that covers things that do not even apply to them. The law specifically stipulates certain things that must be covered on all plans. There are many people who simply do not need certain coverage. Men do not need prenatal care and many people will never require coverage for rehab. The Obamacare plans are designed as one-size-fits all but these are not t-shirts they are offering; this is insurance, which is intended to be personal. The argument against this claim is saying that we already pay for coverage that is not necessary so it simply doesn't matter what Obamacare will require.
Okay. I guess.
Who's in charge? Apparently the IRS will oversee Obamacare as it pertains to the requirements of people's coverage. They will be the ones issuing the fines that will be implemented on those who do not purchase insurance. This will obviously require them to have access to sensitive information and will require us to keep them updated.
Even worse still is that the CBO is now actually predicting that a million more Americans (31 million), will be uninsured, compared to the current number which is at 30 million. This means that while people with preexisting conditions will be able to get care, others will opt out and pay a fine instead.
Unfortunately, there is too much confusion involved. For every site that I find making complaints, there is another website out there praising Obamacare and telling us not to worry about anything. Interestingly enough the people who support the bill seem to believe that it is some type of miracle that will cure our country of any and all problems in our healthcare system; they are not questioning anything and this seems rather naive to me.
Perhaps Obamacare does have its good points but how long till we see these results? Yes, our country has problems concerning heath care costs and access but I cannot help believe that perhaps we should have taken our time when finding a way to relieve those in need and increase the amount of those being covered.
In short, we need balance.

IRS Scandal -- Sometimes Those Dems Protest Too Much
**FILE** IRS official Lois Lerner is sworn in on Capitol Hill in Washington on May 22, 2013, before the House Oversight Committee hearing to investigate the extra scrutiny IRS gave to tea party and other conservative groups that applied for tax-exempt status. Lerner told the committee she did nothing wrong and then invoked her constitutional right to not answer lawmakers' questions. (Associated Press)
For some time now we have been hearing the dems protest that there was nothing shady going on at the IRS concerning their suspicious activity to deny certain political groups tax-exempt status.
Lois Lerner has been found guilty of "neglect of duties" after an internal investigation. She has retired this morning. Republicans are suggesting that this is only the tip of the iceberg.
It is reported that Lerner apparently had e-mails that suggest she was searching for reasons to deny tax-exempt status.
But Mr. Levin, [Rep. Sander Levin, ranking Democrat on the HouseWays and Means Committee] who had called for Ms. Lerner to resign early on, said there is still no evidence of political motivation in Ms. Lerner’s actions or those of others at the IRS. He said the GOP is stretching to create a political scandal.Well, it is interesting that the democrats are quick to tell the American people there is "nothing to see here."
Lerner had previously taken the fifth, refusing to testify before Congress but later she decided to proclaim her innocence in a statement, which is now being viewed as her waiving her fifth amendment right. Even though she has stepped down, she can still be called to testify at a later time.
Why proclaim innocence if you have taken the fifth? Yes, apparently the big, bad Republicans are at it again. Apparently they have the power to make scandals where none exist. I suppose this is just another case of that right-wing conspiracy, tin-foil hat theory. After all, the democratic party is always innocent and would never engage in scandals, cover-ups, or lies, right?

Distortions About Republicans
I have been trying to examine why it is so many on the left have been working so hard to demonize the Republican party. According to those on the left, we are a group of evil people who hate minorities, gays, poor people, and anyone who isn't white. Since I don't fall into most of the categories that democrats say Republicans support - white, male, rich -- I wanted to write an article about why it is I feel the Republicans are the best party to represent all Americans, rather than the democratic party that seems to want to do nothing other than separate people for political gain.
In order to do this, I must FIRST address the lies and distortions that come from the democrats who are always trying to project their own illness unto everyone else. They attempt to whitewash their history, ignoring what their party has done and then actually make efforts to blame Republicans.
First of all, the Republican party was started under Lincoln. He was the first Republican candidate to win the presidency. Blacks were first elected to Congress as Republicans and some were ex-slaves. We also know that every single piece of legislation that was passed in an effort to make blacks equal and give them equal rights were not only passed with Republicans but were strongly opposed by the democratic party. In fact the organization called the KKK (founded by democrats), was created to get rid of Republicans -- and since blacks were 100% Republican, they were a natural target for the group rooted in hate and racism. After the democrats took control in 1892, with the Presidency, the House, and Senate, they repealed all of the Republican civil rights acts and enacted Jim Crow laws.
According to democrats, the racists became Dixiecrats and then became Republican, basically prompting everyone to switch parties. The argument is totally absurd and completely false.
Women also benefited from Republicans. The right for women to vote was brought about by the Republicans, not the Democrats -- Here's a nice reality check for those of you that would like some details.
If we listen to the current democrat party, we can see these dems trying to scare people with their fake "war on women" and actually telling people Republicans want to take away a women's right to vote.
I myself have said I would gladly give up my vote if it meant women like the one featured above would not be allowed to vote but, I cannot name one Republican in office that has advocated taking the women's right to vote away.
Affordable, quality education? It has been the democrats who have repeatedly blocked any effort to allow poor children access to private schools through a voucher program. The Republicans have tried relentlessly to get competition among schools in order to raise the overall level of education provided to children. Blacks, poor, and other minorities are constantly the victims horribly run, government schools, especially in the inner-cities (run by democrats), yet the democrats see nothing wrong and their only solution is to deny the problem and maintain the status quo. Of course we know why - unions. The dems are fully backed by corrupt unions that protect teachers that do not do their jobs. We are only instructed to pay them more regardless if students are learning less, and regardless if teachers are preforming better.
Both parties (click to read details), have made changes concerning their stance on public education. Let's also not forget that the same democrats who are all strongly against a voucher program do not send their own children to the public schools they demand for the poor and minorities to attend; their children attend private schools.
The equal pay issue is ridiculous and quite frankly insults my intelligence. I already discussed this issue in another article I wrote, "Women and Their Equal Pay."
You can read more about how ridiculous this issue is and the sheer hypocrisy of the democrat party for bringing up this issue in the first place, click here, here, and here.
Republicans are routinely accused of not supporting things like Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid but of course this is false as well. Both the Republicans and Democrats had opponents for these bills and both parties had supporters, which ultimately led to their passage. Some have argued whether these bills have been successful. The system is designed in such a way that asks current workers to pay for those that need Social Security now. Initially, there were plenty of workers for one retiree but that number has massively decreased and is expected to tilt the other way in the next 20 years. Meaning there will be one worker for 2 or 3 retirees.
There are still many different issues to discuss but I wanted to bring up a few that have always disturbed me. I feel that the Republicans' message has remained fairly consistent. We have made changes here and there to reflect the people inside of the party but overall our desire has always been equality and economic growth.
All one has to do is turn on the news and see how conservative Republicans are not only attacked on ideas but that they are actually called "evil." Click here to see an interesting site dedicated to this type of rhetoric. Not only will these people lie and distort information, but instead of attacking ideas, they actually attack people. Their message does not end with people being "stupid" or "ignorant" in their minds but rather EVIL. As conservatives, we must read what they have to say in order to seek out the truth and counter these arguments with facts. Again, I say to you, it is not the people we dislike it is the reflection of who they are. They are merely projecting their own beliefs about themselves. It is their egos that have taken them over. Their egos are not who they truly are. If we can get them to question themselves in some small way, there we can begin to break down the walls they have built up around themselves.
The recent election has helped me realize a number of things but most importantly it has helped me become interested in getting out the true, loving message of what it means to be a conservative Republican. I will continue to look for issues that are distorted by the left and do my best to expose them here or lead you to others who have already done so. Together, we can turn things around.

The idea that “the Dixiecrats joined the Republicans” is not quite true, as you note. But because of Strom Thurmond it is accepted as a fact. What happened is that the **next** generation (post 1965) of white southern politicians — Newt, Trent Lott, Ashcroft, Cochran, Alexander, etc — joined the GOP.
So it was really a passing of the torch as the old segregationists retired and were replaced by new young GOP guys. One particularly galling aspect to generalizations about “segregationists became GOP” is that the new GOP South was INTEGRATED for crying out loud, they accepted the Civil Rights revolution. Meanwhile, Jimmy Carter led a group of what would become “New” Democrats like Clinton and Al Gore.Professor Larry Schweikart of the University of Dayton continues:
Why did a new generation white Southerners join the GOP? Not because they thought Republicans were racists who would return the South to segregation, but because the GOP was a “local government, small government” party in the old Jeffersonian tradition. Southerners wanted less government and the GOP was their natural home.
Jimmy Carter, a Civil Rights Democrat, briefly returned some states to the Democrat fold, but in 1980, Goldwater’s heir, Ronald Reagan, sealed this deal for the GOP. The new ”Solid South” was solid GOP.
BUT, and we must stress this: the new southern Republicans were *integrationist* Republicans who accepted the Civil Rights revolution and full integration while retaining their love of Jeffersonian limited government principles.
Women also benefited from Republicans. The right for women to vote was brought about by the Republicans, not the Democrats -- Here's a nice reality check for those of you that would like some details.

Social Security was intended to be one source of your income after retirement, but not the sole source.Yet, it seems as if democrats have been preaching to people for years, at least in my lifetime, that social security is intended to be a person's full retirement plan and when people finally wake up to the reality of social security they can use Republican's as their scapegoat. At this point the program requires major overhaul. As usual we can expect the democrats to pull their "half-truth" propaganda in order to push forward whatever their plan might be to help keep this program on life-support. As we have already witnessed during the Bush 41 years, any attempt at trying to change the program and take action has been routinely shot down and ridiculed by democrats. Only history will show that it would have been best for us to take action years ago when Bush first proposed a solution.

Picking Up the Pieces and Moving Forward
Election night was tough for many of us, especially myself. I had prepared for the night for so long. I was absolutely optimist, calling for Romney to win in a total landslide. I even thought he could pull off major surprises like picking up IL and CA. In my mind, there was no way anyone was really going to go inside that voting booth and pull the lever for Obama. How could anyone be so misinformed, misguided, ignorant? Not possible in my mind.
Well, I was wrong and not only was I wrong, I was terribly wrong. Obama was re-elected; I had to deal with the fact that I was actually living in a dream world. Our country has not only gone far left, much more than I ever thought was possible but, there are seriously too many people in this country who are not paying any attention, yet they do believe they are informed because they watch MTV, VH1, The Daily Show, and The Colbert Report. I suppose I should not forget to mention MSNBC, the station that continually has their nose straight up the asses of democrats. These stations and "news" (I use that term LOOSELY), programs sing the praise of liberalism (mental-disorder), daily and do so with comedy as well as mis-characterizations of the Republican Party. They rarely make attempts to analyze any liberal beliefs, nor do they attempt to explain why they believe their ideas to be good for the country. Instead they are fixated on attacking those of us on the right by ridiculing us and associating us with negative labels that are grossly inaccurate.
After having a bit of a confrontation of Facebook with a group of mindless liberals, I became aware of how utterly ignorant the people who voted for Obama are. Of course I knew this beforehand but, I had figured that perhaps many of them would have formulated better arguments to justify their foolish decision to re-elect one of the worst presidents I have witnessed in my lifetime. He is worse than Carter and Clinton. After his horrible economic policy, shoving Obamacare down our throats, Fast and Furious, and the recent attack in Benghazi, it is clear the man is not only incompetent, he has no regard for the rule of law. He rules like a dictator and for people not to recognize this was somewhat a punch in my chest.
So, after having a bit of a pity party, doing a little crying, getting a bit angry, and posting on Facebook my arguments supporting my anger, I am back to where I need to be -- calm and focused. This election revealed many things:
First, conservatives and Republicans still make up half of this country. We are however losing the cultural war. As I have stated in my previous post about libertarians being the cancer of the right, it's true that many people have given up on moral values and have opted to support moral relativism offering no judgment on people's decisions pertaining to gay marriage and drug use, those being the top two "hot-topic" cultural discussions. We must gain control over this issue. Without a moral society supporting moral behavior, there can be no freedom. Only those that understand the importance of dignity and working toward living righteously can maintain a government that will support a healthy, strong, and free society.
Second, liberals are MEAN. This election has magnified this characteristic in them. Their arguments and presentation of their deceiving, holier-than-thou ideology has become tainted with anger and outbursts. Their rage is misdirected and their emotional expression is erratic. Their justification is based upon a house of cards, not rooted in any logical or rational means. It is time for us to learn how to communicate in different ways that will break down these walls that they have purposely imprisoned themselves in.
Third, liberals do not know what they are doing. They do not understand logic, action-reaction principle, nor do they know actual facts. They know half-truths, partial information, and they have memorized the lies that are fed to them by the liberal media. They seem to think that taxing, healthcare, government regulations, and other "feel good" types of legislation have no consequences. It is because of this that we have learned they do not even realize the very things they push for, will be the very things that destroy them. We must help people understand that every action has a reaction; every "change" that is supported doesn't just work for or against one group of people but that it will affect the whole. We must convey our root message that we are not our own little islands but rather connected and make up parts of the whole. People must understand that change only comes from within and that change must be found in morality. When individuals are moral the society we live in can become peaceful.
Finally, we must focus on communication. On the internet we have the opportunity to speak with people in ways that are not possible in everyday life. Sometimes this can be a good thing and sometimes this can be horrible. We must understand that we do not have the benefit of voice inflection or body language. It is one thing to discuss issues among friends in person or even on the telephone but those discussions allow for multiply forms of expression. When we only have our words out there for people to read, we must be use our words productively.
As for myself, I can say for years that I have failed many times in my communications over the internet whether they be on Facebook, Twitter, or political forums. I have most certainly became enraged, insulting, demeaning, condescending, and just plain nasty because of my frustration towards those that are repeating propaganda that is destroying the moral and political fabric that makes this nation exceptional. I am beginning to mature in a way that helps me realize how very important it is to keep my cool, stick with facts, and portray myself in a more patient manner. We must all remember that it is not the people we are angry at. They are merely like everyone else -- projecting what they have absorbed in their lives. It is what they have been surrounded by that is what angers us. So we must take a cue and learn from them what has made them come to the conclusions they have. This might give us some insight into helping chose our words in a way that will force them to consider TRUTH. Some of them have traveled so far down a path of lies and destruction, they simply do not even hear that bell of truth. Truth is only found to those that seek it, it doesn't just happen or come about so, when we chose our words they must have meaning.
The Republicans are always working against corrupt forces. Those forces who work against humanity: government schooling, liberals who continuously attack their characters (because they themselves represent poor, corrupt characters in arrested states of development in spirituality) and not actual ideas, the liberal media (public airways, newspapers, and the internet), and yet we still maintain fifty percent of the population.
When liberals are actually confronted in an appropriate manner matching their level of understanding, only then are they forced to actually confront how they really feel. We must focus on doing one thing and that is, get them to question why it is they feel a certain way. We know as conservatives, we are right. Period. We move with confidence knowing our logic prevails always.
Some of us think in big pictures while others are focused on details. This can be broken down into federal government vs. state government, or society and culture vs. the individual. Do you understand why having a balance between both of these worlds is not only necessary but also moral?
We must focus on both the individual and the big picture. We must ask questions of ourselves if we want liberals to question themselves, so put your own views to the test. Have you had the experience of really understanding why it is conservatives are correct or are you doing what so many on the left do and that is just repeating ideas you hear from others? I am fortunate enough to have the experience of moving from liberalism to growing up and being a conservative. I know how many of them think. We all need to understand so that we can learn to better convey our beliefs.
We must be prepared with facts and information. This means we have to spend time researching. I'm not sure how responsible you are but I do try very hard not to say anything that I know isn't true however, I have been duped into repeating bad stories, just like everyone else. News organizations have all been known to go after a story that turned out to be something different. It does happen but we need to try and do our best to make sure that it happens very little and the only way that happens is when you check the facts from different sources.
Our main focus should always be LOVE. G-d IS love. Our love must override all but what is love? It seems to me that liberals especially do not have a clue as to what love is. They don't seem to understand that having self-interest is not selfish. Self-love is the only way to love others. Love is forgiving and not about revenge.
There is easy love and there is tough love. Love is not tolerating immoral behavior for the sake of tolerance. It is evil to watch and say nothing. Tolerance is neutral, it can be an evil or moral act. We must force people to question this of themselves. Why do they believe all tolerance is good when they themselves will not tolerate everything?
Many liberals will "give" so much of themselves to the point where it deteriorates their own dignity. Loving yourself if the fist step to understanding what love is. Often times when I am conversing with liberals telling me about their lives and their problems they will reveal to me how much they repeatedly give to an individual. They do this to a point where they knowingly give until it destroys them. Now they have an excuse for being a victim and complaining about how someone "used" them. They immediately become frustrated with the world and this is what produces their cynicism yet, they are the ones who produced the cynicism themselves. They don't love themselves, therefore they never really had any love to give, and when nothing came back towards them, they became angry.
For many, this behavior is not conscience. They are simply unable to identify patterns. To them, their actions should produce what they want only. They ignore the fact that it is THEIR actions that need to change, not others reactions. Instead of adjusting their behaviors, they move on and continue to make the same mistakes effectively martyring themselves for gain of sympathy from their willing friends who are also robbing themselves by supporting their behavior. The lack of awareness is produced when the mind is divided. The ego is different from the true self and as a consequence, they cannot bare to hear that it was ultimately their actions that produced the results they claim they didn't want.
An example of this I have heard countless times is from liberal women complaining about men who have done them wrong. They buy men things, take care of them, run errands, watch their children, and then one day out of the blue they decide they are being wronged. Perhaps one of their meddling girlfriends told them not to put up with "this or that" and this initial push ignites a fire that creates an argument. The man, who may or may not be taking advantage of this women, is then forced to go on the defense, not understanding why this women waited 2 years of her life to say anything or complain. He may be confused and angry himself but he certainly doesn't feel responsible at that point. His defense could be rather negative and thereby his treatment of her will not improve. The woman will begin to show her bitterness and make outrageous demands at this point, pushing her man further away. If he does comply, it will never be good enough. She has set up a trap for her man -- damned if he does and damned if he doesn't. As a result, the relationship will deteriorate and the woman will blame the man for being mean and a whole host of other complaints that have nothing to do with him but rather herself. Because she never loved herself, she allowed herself to "give" to a point that was self-destructive. The cycle will continue in her life with anyone and everyone she comes across.
Not only that but her liberal friends will praise her, telling her she did nothing wrong and men are evil. Men are evil. This is something I hear all the time from women and not only is the statement patently false, it is divisive and dangerous.
Liberals' minds are divided in so many ways and this is evident by the fact that they take such great pains to devalue the lives of others as they pertain to a sex or gender, a lifestyle, a philosophy, a class, or even a religion. They do this out of bitterness. Yes, their beliefs are based on personal experiences but those experiences are the ones that they brought upon themselves.
Imagine how much different the situation could have been had she simply discussed how she was feeling with her husband or boyfriend. Perhaps she could have told him that she was feeling a little overwhelmed and would be interested in doing more for herself instead. If the man was using her, he would have the opportunity to leave her at that point and this would be good for both parties involved. She could begin to care for herself and then seek out a man who loves himself and create a relationship where true love could be found, or perhaps he could agree and be happy that she is truly changing in a positive manner. True love is where both parties love themselves and each other. When things go wrong, you don't blame "all of men" or "all of women," you examine your OWN behavior and think about what you should have done first. The answer is always the same thing --- LOVE yourself. Know what love is. Know what it is that you want from love and then behave yourself in that same manner.
Liberals want their goodies from government. They go out and vote for their man and support them so that they can get something from them. Ultimately, as we have seen throughout history a population will beg for help, until they can complain about it. Right now we see people asking for more government to come into their lives. They don't love government because they don't even love themselves. If they loved themselves, they would be more interested in doing right for themselves and not what the government can do right for them. This thought process is that of a divided mind. They don't view themselves as the government but another, separate entity, much like the woman who calls against "all men" as being separate from her. This is why only TRUE leaders preach of the importance of self-responsibility and being self-reliable because these characteristics are those that are developed from loving oneself. Only successful people have the ability to give so therefore we must support success.
I love the analogy that talks about being on a plane and the steward will explain that when the masks drop, the adult should secure his or her mask on first and then help the child seated next to them. Why? Simple. If you help the helpless first, there is a chance that it might not be successful on the first try. If it doesn't work, that eliminates needed time putting the adult at risk of passing out. If they pass out, so will the child...they both fall down. If the adult worries about themselves first, they can ensure that they will have the time and ability to help the child who is helpless. BOTH stand.
There is a hierarchy and there always has been; there always will be. Liberals are always trying to fight this, instead of embracing it. We must understand that it is a part of us and not separate from us. Once we begin to understand and embrace this, then we can begin to change and improve our lives, as well as helping others.
G-d is love and love is truth. Truth and love are light and that light is what liberals fear the most. They hate the light because the light exposes them for what they are. The woman I spoke of, she doesn't want love because she doesn't love herself and because of that same reason she also doesn't know love either. In the end, the situation was all about her and how she was being affected. It wasn't self-love but rather selfish. Think of the very wealthy who claim they want the government to tax them more so that the government can help the poor. What is it that stops them from pulling out a pen and writing a check themselves? Why does the government have to do what they can do themselves? Well, it's simple really, they don't see themselves as part of the poor but rather separate from them. We are not separated. We are all a part of the whole and if the likes of these people loved themselves they would be able to do what they ask the government to do for them.
So let us always remember that when we are dealing with liberals we must understand that many of them do not know what love is; they do not love themselves; they see themselves separate from others, not a part of them. We must show them the message of true love, not selfishness. We must help them understand that they need to stop worrying about others and worry about themselves. We simply cannot help anyone unless we help ourselves. The government is necessary but not to the point where it destroys us.
I do believe we can turn things around. I do believe that truth will always, eventually trump evil. I do believe we are in a cycle and right now, we may be on the downside of that cycle but this could be a great opportunity for us to regroup and examine ourselves so that we can get out the true message. The message of love is one that can ultimately win everyone over. It is G-d's message, the Lord's message, and the message that The Holy Spirit sends us daily. Most of all, pray. Even though the liberal is the very mind we are trying to save, they are still our enemies because they hate us. Pray for your enemies as the Lord instructed and be patient because they know not what they do-- just yet.
Well, I was wrong and not only was I wrong, I was terribly wrong. Obama was re-elected; I had to deal with the fact that I was actually living in a dream world.
"No, no, no -- don't boo, vote," Obama said. "Vote. Voting is the best revenge."

Final Debate
Tonight was the final debate and it was all about foreign policy. From Obama we learned that we no longer have to worry about Russia and he has established stability throughout the word. Amazing. So I guess we are back to ignoring Libya and Egypt again?
Is this guy serious? I'm not sure how one can honestly follow what has been going on the past four years and not realize what a liar this man is.
As usual, Obama could not control himself. He was dismissive, condescending, and rude. The man cannot control his behavior for 90 minutes. Again, those of us that have watched him deal with the press know full well what an angry man he is but, hopefully it is more apparent to those that have done nothing but praise him for basically doing nothing the last four years.
He still has no plan and as far as balancing a budget. How does he plan on doing this, with another executive order? He hasn't been able to pass a budget the past three years. What makes him think this will change over the next four years? Even if he needs the majority of 60 votes to enact the budget, it still doesn't change the fact that none of the democrats will vote for his budget. Unlike Romney, he has not been willing to work with others. Just like his demeanor reveals, he is a child in an adult body playing president. I'm surprised he didn't just throw himself on the floor and begin to scream, while banging his feet and fists on the ground.
(The video will not allow me to embed it here, even though it does offer a code). You will have to click here to see the video for yourself.
After the debate, libs were all over the "Bayonette" comment as if it were some kind of amazing observation but it looks like the pie is on their faces now! Shhh...don't tell a liberal they are wrong, you'll be instantly called a racist.
Obama also insists that he never went on an "apology tour" as Romney pointed out. He went so far as to suggest that all those "fact check" sites confirm this for him. It's nice to know that Obama has to double check with websites devoted to his re-election in order to confirm what he did or didn't do. Unfortunately, not everyone agrees. For example:
The liberals actually think Americans are stupid and yes, some of us are, we call them lefty-liberals but, the rest of us that have a brain do not need to hear an exact phrase in order to understand the meaning of a statement. It is just like when Obama made his closing statement. He said that when he came into office...this and this was all wrong...etc. No, he didn't use the words, "It's all Bush's fault," but dear heavens we KNOW what he was implying and he does nothing but repeat this same idea in a different fashion, each and every time he has an audience.
I guess we're also supposed to forget the recent apology made by the administration to Pakistan as well?
First the man declares this was a protest about some obscure film. Then we discover The White House was warned before the attack occurred. There was a deliberate attempt by the administration to cover this fact up because they made heavy attempts to saturate the media with this idea of a short film being the catalyst of this attack.
Then we find that Obama and his minions begin to back off of the story blaming this film. During the VP debate we learned through the laughing-fool Biden that the administration simply did not know until later on that it was a terrorist attack. Finally, the second debate with Romney, Obama claims he always called the attack one of terror. Even if we give benefit of the doubt to Obama and allow him to get away with making that claim, it doesn't explain away why he and others kept up the narrative of placing blame on the film for two weeks after the attack. It also makes Biden look foolish and clueless, considering he claims no one knew it was a terrorist attack initially.
Not only was there so much confusion going on, after the oversight hearing, we learned that the Embassy was asking for additional security because they knew they were not being properly protected. Oh, and let's not forget that this occurred on 9/11! Only a complete fool would ignore requests for additional security around the date of 9/11. With all of this information, what the hell happened?
Clinton decided to fall on her sword and take full responsibility and Obama did the same later on during the second debate. The whole situation reeks of problems. Obama has failed on all points because his administration is obviously incompetent. If all this initial diversion was centered on covering up the fact that this was a terrorist attack, then they are naive to think they could actually try to do such a thing. If they really didn't know, then they really should have just been honest in saying they didn't know and explained that they wanted to take prudent course of action. If they did know it was a terrorist attack, then why the hell didn't they call it that in the first place? No matter what, this was not handled appropriately and all evidence seems to point to the possibility they tried to do what Clinton did for 8 years -- ignore it. This was a political move, putting Obama's re-election above the interest of the country's, as well as the four men that were killed. Those four men were servants to this country and they were left to fend for themselves against hostile terrorists, an attack that most likely could have been avoided. I think we have a name for putting one's own interest above their country's. It's called TREASON and it's punishment is death.
Either way you slice it, Obama doesn't look good and it showed during the debates. Had he spent more of his time actually doing his job and not traveling, spending time on the golf course, or bowing down to world leaders, and hanging out with those cool, Hollywood celebrities, maybe he would have been more aware of what the hell was going on.
Romney won on substance and lost on having an inflated ego. Mr. Obama wins the ego award hands down.

In early 2011, Barack Obama received a report from the Simpson-Bowles deficit commission he himself launched that outlined a series of significant cuts and new taxes that would have at least lowered the rate at which the country added to its debt. Obama ignored the report completely and instead proposed a budget with nearly $1.5 trillion in deficit spending, with no serious attempts to cut spending. It was so embarrassing that Republicans had to force the Democrat-controlled Senate in May 2011 to bring it up for a vote, where it failed unanimously, 0-97.Let's take a look at other fibs that came from Obama:

Obama to France and Europe: “Instead of celebrating your dynamic union and seeking to partner with you to meet common challenges, there have been times where America has shown arrogance and been dismissive, even derisive.”Let's face it folks, he didn't use the words, "I apologize." I guess we're also supposed to forget the recent apology made by the administration to Pakistan as well?
In a commercial containing clips from their Washington press conferences, subtitled in Urdu, Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton said “sorry” to the mad hordes attacking the American embassy in the Pakistani capital of Islamabad and deplored the infamous anti-Muslim14-minute YouTube video.Of course, this brings us to the most recent topic that involves the revelation that the attack had nothing to do with a YouTube video. Interesting how no one has bothered to mention that the film maker, Mark Basseley Youssef (a k a Nakoula Basseley Nakoula) is still in jail!!! Obama should lose any and all credibility for how this entire situation has played out.

History of Democrats
This is a great video to remind those that are historically challenged (lefties I'm talking to you), the democrat party has always been and will always be about dividing people, making them victims or oppressors, and using their struggles for personal gain in power. These are the SAME tactics that the party of demons use today.

Holy Bias Nonsense - Union Thugs Reveal Their Stupidity
AFL-CIO NOW
Of course I expect to see bias on the AFL-CIO NOW website. It certainly makes sense since these are people who have basically vowed to be in the pockets of democrat candidates, seemingly unaware of how they are used by the party over and over again. The following however was quite remarkable in its bias, that I had to pause at how outrageous it was, so much so that this could only be labeled as LIES.

Joe Biden Blames Republicans for Rape and Murder
“I didn’t use, no no no…Let’s get it straight, guy. Don’t screw around with me,” Biden lashed out at HUMAN EVENTS. Then Biden confirmed that he indeed did talk about rape in terms of the President’s spending measure. “Murder will continue to rise, rape will continue to rise, all crimes will continue to rise,” if the Democrats agenda isn’t passed, he added.Huh? Why do they even let this guy talk? What on earth is he even talking about? This is another example of a whacked-out liberal politician, who is clearly dependent upon the ignorant percentage of the population, the ones who would actually accept a horrendous false dichotomy such as this.
Click title of this blog post for article.
Honestly, this story would be hilarious if it were not for the fact that he actually is the Vice President.
“It’s not temporary [administration’s proposed stimulus] when that 911 call comes in and a woman’s being raped, if a cop shows up in time to prevent the rape. It’s not temporary to that woman.”
First of all, if a woman calls the cops, she probably does not know that she is going to be raped, nor would she be making the call while being raped, and it is almost impossible to even suggest that a cop would be able to get to where she was before being raped to prevent the act from happening. Police are wonderful but, they rarely prevent crime. In fact, if they do intervene in anything, they are accused of making assumptions and labeled as dirty cops who are racist or some other nonsense. Police protect us but, usually they are called as a result of crime. If Biden was so concerned, he would encourage us to keep our money so that we can buy guns for protection from these rapist and murdering creeps. Bad analogy, Biden.

More Intellectual Thoughts From Obama
Here he goes again folks. Obama is now insisting that Republicans want to have a dirty environment.
So this is the depth of his understanding? If someone doesn't want the government to have control of every little damn thing in the world, they MUST want horrible things to happen? What kind of logic is this? This is the most absurd false dichotomy and limited thinking I have ever heard from a president. This is flat out embarrassing. I do not understand how any intelligent democrat could possibly argue for this president. What a silly, childish statement this truly is.
Obama just cannot seem to help himself. Everyday it seems to get worse with the hyperbole and ridiculous rhetoric that simply does not make any sense whatsoever. Would it be too much to ask him to think for a moment? It is fine to disagree with Republicans, but to make these types of childish accusations is just pitiful.
"The Republicans plan, Obama says, boils down to this: 'Dirtier air, dirtier water, less people with health insurance.'"Click title of this post for source.

Obama Wants to Create More Jobs By Spending More
Oh, and of course he wants to blame Republicans if the bill doesn't pass. Even if it does pass, and it fails, the Republicans will still be blamed.
"We're going to see if we've got some straight shooters in Congress. We're going to see if Congressional Republicans will put country before party," Obama said recently.
Expect to hear more of that from the president, Scott. He's going to take his message on the road in a series of speeches that advisors say will be all about his plan versus the Republicans plan to fix the economy.Watch video below for more details and comment below. Unions Lose
AP Photo/Michael P. King
Republicans in WI went ahead and voted anyway to strip bargaining rights from union members.
The Senate requires a quorum to take up any measure that spends money. But Republicans on Wednesday took all the spending measures out of Walker's proposal and a special committee of lawmakers from both the Senate and Assembly approved the revised bill a short time later. The response to this was none too pretty.
"In 30 minutes, 18 state senators undid 50 years of civil rights in Wisconsin. Their disrespect for the people of Wisconsin and their rights is an outrage that will never be forgotten," said Democratic Senate Minority Leader Mark Miller. "Tonight, 18 Senate Republicans conspired to take government away from the people."Okay. So, what do you say about the democrats up and leaving? What about their responsibility to serve the people and do their job? Instead, they take a vacation and stall any negotiations.
I'm not sure why the government even allows unions. Can someone explain that to me? I can sort of understand private unions but, government employees as union members?
The state Assembly previously approved the original proposal and was set to consider the new measure on Thursday. Miller said in an interview with The Associated Press there is nothing Democrats can do now to stop the bill: "It's a done deal."Well, I guess they should have done their job and not have run away.
That doesn't sound unfair to me at all.The measure approved Wednesday forbids most government workers from collectively bargaining for wage increases beyond the rate of inflation. It also requires public workers to pay more toward their pensions and double their health insurance contribution, a combination equivalent to an 8 percent pay cut for the average worker.
Police and firefighters are exempt.
"The people of Wisconsin elected us to come to Madison and do a job," Fitzgerald said in a statement after the vote. "Just because the Senate Democrats won't do theirs, doesn't mean we won't do ours."I concur.

Who Will Republicans Run?
2012 is sneaking upon us and there is still that lingering question, if Obama is out, who is going to take his place? So far, the results have come up inconclusive.
Click title of post to read more.
Who do you like? Who are your choices? I love Huckabee so, he's my pick.
Several Republicans pondering a run in 2012 are to speak this week to a large gathering of conservatives in Washington, a chance to test their messages and generate some buzz.
A year ahead of the first state voting contests to decide who will face Obama in November 2012, no prominent Republican has formally announced a candidacy and no potential candidate has emerged as a favorite.
But plenty of politicians who can envision themselves in the Oval Office are running underground campaigns, visiting early voting states, talking to fund-raisers, organizing staffs. The first announcements are expected by March.
The Conservative Political Action Conference is to hear from a number of potential candidates on Thursday, Friday and Saturday as conservatives who have been celebrating the 100th anniversary of the birth of conservative giant Ronald Reagan search for someone who can wave his banner.
"It's one of the first times that they get to showcase their actual credentials among key constituencies and generate publicity for themselves early on in the cycle," said Republican strategist Ron Bonjean.
Among the speakers are two former governors, Mitt Romney of Massachusetts and Tim Pawlenty of Minnesota; former House of Representatives Speaker Newt Gingrich and sitting governors Haley Barbour of Mississippi and Mitch Daniels of Indiana.

Weiner Rants
When does this guy not rant? Does he think we're stupid? I think he does. I love how the demonrats play to the ignorant. They lie in such a way that you think they are telling the truth but, if you don't pay attention to what's going on and what they have said before, you would fall for it.

Repeal ObamaCare
Every time I write the word, "Obamacare" I snicker. Does anyone else notice that it's the oxymoron of the century?
Well, it looks like Republicans may do something right and move for this 2,700-page bill of obscurity and obstruction to be officially repealed. Let's see if we can keep the pressure on these dirtbags to get it done!

Well, it looks like Republicans may do something right and move for this 2,700-page bill of obscurity and obstruction to be officially repealed. Let's see if we can keep the pressure on these dirtbags to get it done!
WASHINGTON, Jan 3 (Reuters) - Republicans in the U.S. House of Representatives plan to pass a bill next week to repeal President Barack Obama's overhaul of the U.S. healthcare system, a senior party aide said on Monday, but the effort is widely expected to fail in the Senate.
The new Congress will convene on Wednesday with Republicans in control of the House after November's midterm elections. They are set to move ahead with their campaign promise to try to rescind the new healthcare law, one of Obama's signature legislative victories.
Brad Dayspring, a spokesman for incoming House Republican leader Eric Cantor, said the House plans to vote on legislation to repeal the healthcare law on Jan. 12.
"It will pass the House," Dayspring said.
Although Republicans will control the House, 242-193, Obama's Democrats retain control of the Senate by 53-47 and are likely to block any repeal of the healthcare law.
"Obamacare is a job killer for businesses small and large, and the top priority for House Republicans is going to be to cut spending and grow the economy and jobs," Dayspring said.
Republicans, particularly from the fiscally conservative wing, were emboldened to attack the healthcare reform after a good showing in November's elections.
Among other provisions, the healthcare reform extends healthcare insurance to millions of Americans without coverage, but opinion polls show voters are split over it. The reform has become a favorite target for Republicans who say it is an excessive reach by the federal government.
Even if repeal fails, Republicans will yield considerable sway over the government purse strings and try to use that power to deny the Obama administration's requests on financing to implement the new healthcare law, a signature achievement.
Dayspring said the House will hold a procedural vote on Friday in preparation for the Jan. 12 vote.

Don't Fund It!
Reuters – Senate Minority leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) speaks during an interview with Reuters in Washington, …
Now that the Republicans have made big gains the House, they are coming up with strategies to block Obama's health care bill. It will be more than just calling for a repeal, which would likely be vetoed by Obama and the still majority democrat Senate.
So, the next wisest strategy would be to not fund it. It's as simple as that.
More realistically, McConnell said Republicans, who will hold a majority in next year's House of Representatives, should aim to hobble the healthcare law by "denying funds for implementation" of the measure. Annual spending bills for agencies, including ones that implement the healthcare law, are normally written first in the House.
Democrats accused Republicans of putting the interests of large corporations ahead of families.
No, actually it's the American people that don't want it. See, we were unaware that you were going to pass 2700 pages of a bill that would ration our health care, along with giving the Secretary of Health and Human Services a carte blance on imposing any and all restrictions at their discretion.
No, the Republicans are actually the ones putting the people first. Ummm...that's why they won.
"It speaks volumes that the first thing on Republicans' 'to do' list is to give power back to big health insurance companies," said Jim Manley, a spokesman for Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid.
Again with the lies. No, Harry, we wanted to open up the competition between companies selling health insurance. This way we don't have states where only 3 companies are allowed to compete.
