After the Brexit Vote

Here we are a few days after the vote for Britain to leave the European Union and there are waves of news stories traveling all over the internet.

It seems many younger people are whining and boo-hooing about the vote. Some people are reporting regrets for their vote to leave. I even watched one girl say she thought there would be another vote. Not sure where she would get that idea from. It seems Britain has an equal amount of stupid young people as we do here in the United States. I'm not sure if that comforts me or terrifies me.

09-11-01

The day that shall live in infamy. It is also the day of my birth. There's not much I can say that has not already been said. Even though we should remember this day and what happened, it does not mean that we should wallow in the horror and terror that we all experienced that particular day.

My heart goes out to all the families and friends who were directly affected by this terror attack.

For me, I remember being scared and very angry. I was worried about the people I knew that were living in New York at the time. I was worried about the people I didn't know living in New York at the time. There was nothing I could do but stay near the tv, listen to the radio, and pray. I did manage to go out to dinner but it was only to get my mind off of what was going on. Earlier that same year, I had lost my mother. In the previous month, I had lost a childhood friend; he was so young. Then came this.

Terror is real and we need to be aware of it. We do need to be reminded but we also need to look forward to our futures and focus on the things we have; we must be grateful for all that has been given to us.

Today was a day that I woke up happy but, after last year's Benghazi, I can also say I was a bit uneasy. I just wanted today to be calm and so far it has been. For that, I am truly grateful.

Let us remember and be grateful for our lives. We are the living; we are the ones who will go forth and we are the ones who will have to tell our children what this day means. My daughter is only 4, about to be 5. I hope by the time she is older I will be able to offer her some wisdom and understanding concerning the importance of this day.

G-d Bless America.

Boston Bombings

I'd first like to take a moment for all of the victims, their families, and friends of this great tragedy. My prayers and thoughts are with my fellow Americans.

Charles Dharapak, The Associated Press

President Barack Obama speaks in the James Brady Press Briefing Room at the White House in Washington, Monday, April 15, 2013, following the explosions at the Boston Marathon.

Yesterday our country came under attack in Boston, at the Boston Marathon by people who are heartless and filled with hate. Yes, I am trying to not jump to any conclusions but I would be a liar if I told you I did not immediately believe this to be the work of Muslim terrorists.

Obama said this:
"We will find out who did this and we will hold them accountable."
I guess we will wait and see. I watched the press conference this morning and I am under the impression that the FBI does not have many answers. Then again, whatever they do know, they probably do not want to let the public know just yet.

If this is the work of terrorists, it would be the second attack on our soil by these monsters. Let's hope that Obama will do as he promised.

History of Democrats

This is a great video to remind those that are historically challenged (lefties I'm talking to you), the democrat party has always been and will always be about dividing people, making them victims or oppressors, and using their struggles for personal gain in power. These are the SAME tactics that the party of demons use today.

In sharp reversal, U.S. agrees to rebuke Israel in Security Council - By Colum Lynch | Turtle Bay

In sharp reversal, U.S. agrees to rebuke Israel in Security Council - By Colum Lynch | Turtle Bay

The U.S. informed Arab governments Tuesday that it will support a U.N. Security Council statement reaffirming that the 15-nation body "does not accept the legitimacy of continued Israeli settlement activity," a move aimed at avoiding the prospect of having to veto a stronger Palestinian resolution calling the settlements illegal.
But the Palestinians rejected the American offer following a meeting late Wednesdy of Arab representativs and said it is planning to press for a vote on its resolution Friday, according to officials familar with the issue. The decision to reject the American offer raised the prospect that the Obama adminstration will cast its first ever veto in the U.N. Security Council.
Still, the U.S. offer signaled a renewed willingness to seek a way out of the current impasse, even if it requires breaking with Israel and joining others in the council in sending a strong message to its key ally to stop its construction of new settlements. The Palestinian delegation, along with Lebanon, the Security Council's only Arab member state, have asked the council's president this evening to schedule a meeting for Friday. But it remained unclear whether the Palestinian move today to reject the U.S. offer is simply a negotiating tactic aimed at extracting a better deal from Washington.

Possible Mexican Military Incursion On U.S. Soil

Possible Mexican Military Incursion On U.S. Soil

MISSION - CHANNEL 5 NEWS is exposing what appears to be a Mexican military incursion into the United States. It was all caught on camera. We froze surveillance video taken at the Anzalduas International Bridge.

What you see is the international boundary that separates the United States from Mexico and what authorities on this side of the border seem to think is a truck packed with armed men crossing into the United States. The video clearly shows a large military-transport vehicle drive north on the Anzalduas bridge over the international boundary.

We counted at least a dozen armed men in the back of the truck. The vehicle travels down the bridge toward the U.S. Customs checkpoint. Its driver makes a U-turn just before reaching the lines of cars there. It then starts back south toward Mexico. The men pull over and search a vehicle for a few minutes then resume their trek south. The presumed soldiers then cross back over the boundary toward Mexico.

They are in U.S. territory for about 10 minutes. We're taking a closer look at the vehicle they stopped on the bridge and what U.S. authorities have to say about this apparent incursion.

Justin Bieber Calls America Evil

Photograph by Terry Richardson for RollingStone.com

Born in Canada, Justin Bieber says that our country is evil because, we have to worry about medical care expenses. According to Justin, the health care system in Canada is great and no one ever has to worry.

Wow. Thanks Justin. You're so wise.

The Canadian-born Bieber never plans on becoming an American citizen. "You guys are evil," he says with a laugh. "Canada's the best country in the world. We go to the doctor and we don't need to worry about paying him, but here, your whole life, you're broke because of medical bills. My bodyguard's baby was premature, and now he has to pay for it. In Canada, if your baby's premature, he stays in the hospital as long as he needs to, and then you go home."

Interesting that Canada wouldn't exist without the US. Even more interesting is how Canadians are constantly coming here for medical care. I wonder how he responds to that? Of course, no one would ask him.

Iranian Scientists Claims He Was Kidnapped By The US

You can click the title of this post for the full article.

There seems to be many details missing but, this scientist from Iran, Shahram Amiri, is suggesting that the US kidnapped him and brought him to the States.

He later claims that he escaped, then made some videos but, said he wasn't free? There's too many things that are not appearing to add up. I guess we are going to have to wait and see how this story unfolds.

US Wants Peace In The Middle East - Again

The Obama Administration will take it's stab at trying to get Isreal to negotiate with the Palestinian's. Since, last year, talk efforts hit a dead end.

Click title for the full story being reported on the AP.

"We're going to be even more committed this year, and we're starting this new year with that level of commitment and we're going to follow through and hopefully we can see this as a positive year in this long process," Clinton told reporters after the meeting.

Because, we've never been "more committed" before, right?

According the article, we will be offering our opinions or, "guarantees" in letters concerning the desired outcome.

The letters are likely to contain gestures to both sides. For the Palestinians, that would include criticism of settlements and the belief that the borders that existed before the 1967 Arab-Israeli War be the basis of a future peace deal. For the Israelis, they would acknowledge that post-1967 demographic changes on the ground must be taken into account, meaning that Israel would be able to keep some settlements.

So, basically, if you're attacked and you win the war, you should give up what you won because, it's not fair?!?!

It is unbelievable to me that we even get our noses involved in this. Israel is our ally. We support them, end of story. We are at war with these Muslim extremists, why do we keep forgetting this?

Enhanced Security

Beginning today, folks traveling to the US from countries of interest, will be subjected to more screening.

Ummm...shouldn't this have already been implemented? I'm unsure why this hasn't always been the case, considering the fact that we are still at war. I am completely shocked that extra screening hasn't always been a factor when someone from a middle eastern country, one that sponsors terrorism or, one that is of "interest," as they put it, is flying to the United States.

From the article, (click on title):

The State Department lists Cuba, Iran, Sudan and Syria as state sponsors of terrorism. The other countries whose passengers will face enhanced screening include Afghanistan, Algeria, Iraq, Lebanon, Libya, Nigeria, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Somalia and Yemen.

Again, I ask, why wasn't this something they were doing already?

Gee. I feel so much safer.

Ahmadinejad: Iran Will Bring Down Global Arrogance

Global Arrogance is what Ahmadinejad refers to the United States and it's allies.

"As soon as the new government is established, with power and authority, ten times more than before, it will enter the global scene and will bring down the global arrogance," he told a big crowd in the northeastern city of Mashhad.

It's so sad to see a country filled with such wonderful people taken over by evil powers.

I'm sure Obama will make everything okay. He just needs to sit down with Ahmadinejad and make nice.
