Benghazi -- Charles Krauthammer

Well, we are starting to finally see this story taking shape in the news. It's clear Obama was more concerned about being able to find a way to place blame, rather than telling the American people what was really going on and what he was actually doing about the attack in Benghazi.

“I think there is a bigger story here that will in time come out. The biggest scandal of all, the biggest question is what was the president doing in those eight hours. He had a routine meeting at five o’clock. He never after during the eight hours when our guys have their lives in danger, he never called the Secretary of Defense, he never calls the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs, he never called the CIA Director, Who does he call? But five hours in he calls the Secretary of State. And after the phone call she releases a statement essentially about the video and how we denounce any intolerance. It looks as if the only phone call is to construct a cover story at a time when the last two Americans who died were still alive and fighting for their lives. There’s the scandal and that has to be uncovered.”
What really irks me is why we have yet to figure out who the hell came up with the YouTube video blame story in the first place? Why hasn't this been answered yet?

Check out one of my favorite sites [The Conservative Treehouse] on a once again, AWESOME post.

I've been wanting to do more research on this story myself but I am sorry...I got sucked into the Jodi Arias story and I have another story I am working on about Weather Underground.

Don't hesitate to buy the newly re-released book, Bringing Down America. This is a must read -- fascinating. Larry Grathwol is the real deal folks!

Gingrich Still Has a Chance?

That's the story today...(click title of this post). Gallup poll shows that Newt is gaining a bit of traction. According to Gingrich, he must win Georgia and he is banking on the South and Ohio. Next week may determine whether Gingrich will have made a comeback, or if he will need to bow out of the race.

I really am hoping he gains some momentum. I like Newt a lot more than I do Romney or Santorum. I guess Romney is not so bad but Santorum, while I love his message, is well known for being...corrupt. I just don't know how he is going to stand up against Obama.

Thoughts?

Cain Denies Allegations

Republican presidential candidate Herman Cain delivers a speech about foreign policy at Hillsdale College on Nov. 29, 2011 in Hillsdale, Mich.

Will Cain go on? News is looking pretty bleak for Herman Cain and his run for American president. With all the recent allegations from women concerning sexual harassment and a recent claim of a 13-year long affair, it looks and feels as though this is the end of the road for Cain.
“Since I’ve been campaigning all week, I haven’t had an opportunity to sit down with her and walk through this with my wife and my family. I will do that when I get back home on Friday,” Cain told reporters gathered at his New Hampshire campaign headquarters Wednesday night. “I am not going to make a decision until after we talk face to face.”
I wonder what that conversation is going to sound like.

Rasmussen Reports - Advantage Cain

Is this really happening? Our horribly racist* country has two black guys going at it for president? (Sarcasm should be read here.)* Oh, yeah baby! I love this.
The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey of Likely U.S. Voters shows Cain attracting 43% support, while Obama earns 41%. Given such a matchup, eight percent (8%) prefer some other candidate, and another eight percent (8%) are undecided.
Click title of this post, if you would like to read the source article.

I have already declared my support for Cain. I really enjoy this man. He is not interested in giving everyone a feel good talk. He is willing to send tough love messages to the American people. He talks the talk and walks the walk. This is something we haven't seen in most politicians and I don't care what side of the aisle you find yourself. Cain is definitely the real deal.

What do you think? Will his star fade? Do Romney or Perry still have a chance here? Why or why not? Comment below.

Herman Cain Shows Promise

Cain (Joe Burbank/AP)

Cain shows promise for Republicans by winning a recent straw poll in Florida.

He also calls Obama a liar, which is the part of the article I found most appealing.
After a few caffeine-heavy refills at our corner table, I asked him about President Obama's new effort to raise taxes on the wealthy, and Cain just about blew a blood vessel--especially when I mentioned the part where Obama says it's about "math" not "class warfare." "Can I be blunt? That's a lie," Cain said, before the sound of his voice began to rise noticeably higher. "You're not supposed to call the president a liar. Well if you're not supposed to call the president a liar, he shouldn't tell a lie. If it's not class warfare, it's highway robbery. He wants us to believe it's not class warfare, oh okay, it's not class warfare. Pick my pockets, because that's what he's doing!"
Cain paused, took a breath and looked at me.
"I'm not mad at you, I just get passionate about this stuff," he said. "I have to tell people because I get so worked up . . . . I'm listening to all this bullshit that he's talking about, 'fairness' and 'balanced approach' to get this economy going."

I'm not sure if this is enough to put Cain over the top but, I would rather support him than Perry or Romney. I'm still not quite sold on either of those two.

Rick Perry Running For President

AP- File

Rick Perry has now announced he is officially running for president.

Texas Gov. Rick Perry is running for president, a spokesman confirmed Thursday, a move certain to shake up the race for the GOP nomination much to the delight of conservatives looking for a candidate to embrace.

Click title of post for full story.

But Perry also has never run a national campaign before, and it's unclear whether his Texas swagger and sometimes unorthodox policy positions will sit well with GOP primary voters outside his state. Another open question is whether he can raise the money necessary to mount a strong campaign against those who have been in the race for months or more.

Well, most people have not run a national campaign before. So what? Is this the brightest observation they can find? Really?

Personally, I'm not sure if Perry is the answer The Right is looking for but, I'm positive it's not Romney. I don't want 2012 to be like the last election. We had real, solid conservatives running and we ended up nominating the most liberal pile of crap to represent the Republicans.

The problem stems from the states that have more electoral votes seem to be run by extreme liberals. They pick the candidates, as we witnessed in 2008. The states that McCain won were NOT states that Republicans would win in the presidential election. It was Huckabee that swept the Southern states and he was a far better candidate, and would have had a much greater chance of beating Obama.

Even if you want to give Obama the benefit of the doubt, this administration has been nothing short of an utter failure. Blaming Bush for everything under the sun just is no longer going to cut it. If the democrats are so much better then they had plenty of time to fix things and build the economy. They have done nothing but make our situation worse, whining and crying the entire time. Had they focused on solutions and not pointing blame, maybe they would have accomplished something.

What do you think of Perry? Is this move positive for the conservative movement? Comment below. Have a great weekend, my beautiful babies.

Republicans to Obama - "You're NO Ronald Reagan!"

Ronald Reagan's 100th Birthday was this weekend, on Sunday. A day to celebrate a man who united the country and brought it back from the Carter years of despair. We all remember the day Reagan was inaugurated and the hostages in Iran were freed. His very presence in the White House scared the pants off of towel head scum in the Middle East.

With the recent news that Obama is trying to model himself after Reagan, “the great communicator" Republicans have but one message, "YOU ARE NO RONALD REAGAN!"

Herman Cain For President 2012

Who is Herman Cain? Well, he's running for president.

A former CEO of Godfather's Pizza and executive at Pillsbury, Cain is a conservative radio host in Atlanta who has been a popular figure on the GOP speaking circuit over the last year. Cain, who is black, is perhaps best known nationally for speaking out last year against charges made by the NAACP that the tea party is made up of "racist elements."

Last month, Cain topped a 2012 presidential straw poll organized by the conservative blog Red State, beating out the likes of Sarah Palin and Mike Huckabee. Still, Cain, who also previously headed the National Restaurant Association, has virtually no name recognition beyond the GOP grass roots and is not even a blip in most early presidential polls — not that he views that as a problem.'

In an interview Wednesday with CNN, Cain said he's been motivated all of his life by people who think he can't win.

"People who say that Herman Cain has no chance of winning the nomination for the Republican Party or win the presidency -- I simply say thank you," he said. "Because all my life I have been in situations where I wasn't supposed to become VP of Pillsbury, I wasn't supposed to be able to turn Godfather's Pizza around. I wasn't supposed to succeed in climbing the corporate ladder in corporate America. So to the people who say I don't have a chance, I say: Thank you. Because that inspires me."

An exploratory committee is generally the first step a potential candidate takes in seeking the White House.  Cain is expected to announce whether he'll formally seek the nomination later this year.

Hey, I like this guy already and I'm definitely voting only because he's black!

Let it sit, it'll be funny in a minute.

Clinton Back in The White House

Former President Bill Clinton takes over for President Barack Obama in the briefing room of the White House in Washington, Friday, Dec. 10, 2010, to talk about Obama's urging of the Congress to move on the tax compromise he made with Republican congressional leaders. (AP Photo/J. Scott Applewhite)

Clinton had a meeting with Obama on Friday and after, Clinton answered questions and announced that he supported Obama's tax compromise with Republicans.

It is said that this public appearance was impromptu and, that Clinton carried himself as if he were still president.

Bush, Ready for History to Judge Him

AP – FILE - In this Aug. 31, 2005 file photo, President George W. Bush looks out the window of Air Force One …

After two years of near silence, Bush is back.

With his new memoir, "Decision Points," and a promotion tour, the president who in cockier times could not think of a single mistake he had made, lists many. He counts the years without a post-9/11 attack as his transcendent achievement. He says the economic calamity he handed off to Barack Obama was "one ugly way to end a presidency."
You can click the title of this post for the full story.

The story is almost rude towards George Bush. I guess that's expected from the AP but, generally they try to be fair. I think George Bush will most definitely be looked upon as a good president. I think he had his problems, and he certainly wasn't perfect but, he did stand up to terrorism, something that Clinton totally ignored for eight years. I respect Bush for that.

Bush admits that he made mistakes in Iraq as well as at home. Will this shut the liberals up? Doubtful. Nothing the man did was good enough, even when he was pissing off his conservative base and, spending like a drunken Kennedy.

So, what do you think? As the years go by, how will history look upon George W. Bush?

President Directed to "Shove it!"

Frank Caprio, who is Rhode Island's gubernatorial candidate, did not react nice when confronted about not being enforced by Obama.

"He can take his endorsement and really shove it as far as I'm concerned," Caprio told talk-show host John DePetro during an interview on WPRO-AM.

Click title of post for full story.

In Monday morning's Providence Journal, John Mulligan of The Journal's Washington bureau reported that Mr. Obama would not endorse Democrat Caprio during a visit to Rhode Island Monday.

Mulligan quoted independent candidate Lincoln Chafee's spokesman saying Obama's decision "is a victory for Linc Chafee," who is one of Caprio's opponents in the race for governor.

Former Republican Senator Chafee endorsed Mr. Obama for president in 2008.

Caprio went on to criticize Mr. Obama for not visiting Rhode Island during this spring's record floods.
Caprio said Rhode Islanders "are hurting," that the state has one of the highest unemployment rates in the country and "now he's coming into Rhode Island treating us like an ATM machine."

Mr. Obama will visit a Woonsocket factory and raise money for Democratic candidates during his visit.
Well, well, well, looks like Rhode Island doesn't have much of a chance with either of these candidates. One endorses Obama and the other is a democrat.

Maximum sentence for this is five years.

What an idiot. The article doesn't say but, I can almost hear this 22- year old now, "I was just kidding."

New investigation says, "The 'certification of live birth' as touted by Obama apologists and the mainstream media as 'proof' Obama meets the eligibility requirements of the Constitution actually proves nothing."
