I was browsing YouTube and came across this video. I'm glad I did. As always, Krauthammer is brilliant. In this debate/discussion/interview with Jon Stewart he does a brilliant job at explaining the Obama heath care law and why so many conservatives oppose it.
Jon is also brilliant and I appreciate how he expresses himself and his ideas as well. I don't often agree with Stewart but I do think he's hilarious and he really does seem to think about what he believes, rather than just spouting off the typical liberal rhetoric that we are so used to hearing. Both of them really make an effort to be respectful of one another and demonstrate how most of us would like our politicians to discuss issues.
Enjoy!

Healthcare, Government Shutdown, Winning?
CNN
Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius appeared on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart and was unable to directly answer why it was big businesses were given the opportunity to delay their compliance with the new affordable health care act, while individuals were not being afforded the same option.
After pressing her further on the issue to no avail, a somewhat exasperated Stewart finally smiled and asked, “Am I a stupid man?”

Jon Stewart -- Libya -- Obama
www.mediaite.com
Jon Stewart is usually a smart cookie and on this issue, he proves it again. It seems as though Stewart is questioning why Obama made a huge point to tell the American people that the Libya operation was being handed over to NATO, when the US makes up the biggest part of NATO.
Is it not safe to say that Obama, like many democrats in this country, thinks the American people are STUPID? They are correct; they're supporters are, in fact, STUPID!

Jon Stewart - On Keith Olbermann
I know I've been picking on poor Keith lately but, the truth is, I am so sick of his out right lies and slandering. I'm very glad to see that there are many who recognize this.
Having a difference of opinion is fine but, making up facts, slandering people, calling them the "worst person in the world" when all along you're looking down on anyone that doesn't agree with you...that's not news.
Keith just needs to come out and say that he's a commentator, just like Glenn Beck, the guy he's always trying to insult.
Keith attacks Fox News as if they are the worst station ever, and that they are working directly for the RNC but, apparently he misses what MSNBC does.
Keith, if you want to know what a political network looks like, look no further than your place of employment. Quit trying to come off as a news reporter. You're not fooling anyone. Watch the video.

Rachel Maddow- Jon Stewart Interview
Highlights:
Rachel has to ask how the left shuts people up? Does she just not pay attention to anything?
Jon sounds fairly reasonable. I have to agree with some of his points. He actually confronts her with her coverage, and MSNBC of dismissing people who are on the right. I am quite impressed with what he is saying here. Although, I love Fox News.

Jon Stewart, host of The Daily Show, interviewed Obama last night and, for the first time an entire half hour was dedicated to one guest.
"Let me say this about members of Congress," Mr. Obama said during the taped interview. "Are you going to curse?" Stewart interrupted.
Obama on "Daily Show": Change Isn't "Overnight"
The president did not indulge, but the "Daily Show" host displayed less restraint in comments to the audience before and after taping.
Stewart, who described himself as "nervous" for the interview, said Mr. Obama sat down and gave him a look he read as "wanna go, mother f***er?"
Off camera, an audience member asked Stewart what he would have liked to ask Mr. Obama but wouldn't dare. "If my people control the media, then why am I still on basic cable?" (paraphrased) the Jewish Comedy Central star answered, referencing comments former CNN anchor Rick Sanchez made that got him fired from the cable news network.
