Janeane Garofalo -- Foaming at the Mouth

There are some people who, for whatever reason, have decided to just not think for themselves. They have such a hard time accepting that the crap they believe is not based in reality. In fact, they will try to find any excuse, no matter how unbelievable it may be, to continue to believe what they do.

Janeane Garofalo is a perfect example of the person I am describing. In her latest theory that is actually entertained by, of course, Keith Olbermann, she suggests that people in the Tea Party like Herman Cain because it hides the racist element.

Wow. If I could ask Ms. Garofalo one thing, I think it would be, "Why is it so hard for you to accept that some people do not look at a person's race/color/creed but rather their ideas?" Why is it that democrats/liberals/socialists like Garofalo are so OBSESSED with race?

The article is pretty simple. It just takes a look at Maddow's role on MSNBC, now that Olbermann has gone away. It's really not that interesting of an article, until the second page. If thought these 2 paragraphs were interesting.

In the Olbermann tradition, Maddow is increasingly denouncing Fox, saying that Glenn Beck, in monologues about Muslims, has been "running baroque conspiracies that are designed to freak people out about bogeymen coming to get them, conspiracies that are unsupported by the facts." Fox, she charges, has "become a McCarthyite chamber of horrors… You can't really call yourself a news channel if that's what you broadcast." Maddow's repeated attacks have not provoked a response from Fox.

While the host devours information online, stuffing printouts in thick folders, there are missteps. She touted an item on the website ChristWire urging Sarah Palin to speak out on Egypt—unaware that it was a satirical blog with such headlines as ARE FACEBOOK SEX GANGS USING "WIKILEAKS" TO TARGET YOUR TEENS? (Maddow good-naturedly confessed her error on Twitter.)

Current TV to be New Home For Keith Olbermann

It looks like Current TV will announce that Keith Olbermann will have a new home with them. Who? What is Current TV, you say?

Good luck with that, Keith.

Neither Mr. Olbermann, his representatives, or executives from Current TV would comment on the move, but they did not deny that the channel, which counts former Vice President Al Gore as one of its founders, will become at least one partner in Mr. Olbermann’s future media plans.

One of the people with knowledge of the plans said Mr. Olbermann would have an equity stake in Current TV. The people insisted on anonymity because they were not authorized by their employers to comment in advance of the official announcement.

Democrats want Keith Olbermann to run for Senate. They are eying Joe Lieberman's (I-Conn.) seat.

The ploy to coax the former MSNBC host into the Democratic Senate primary was hatched by activists attending a conference in Pennsylvania over the weekend.

Hey, maybe even MSNBC has standards. I mean, you can only really tolerate someone being such a horrible journalist for so long. 

In any case, I'm actually sort of saddened. Whenever there was a slow news day, I always had Keith to make fun of. 

Assange Granted Bail But Still In Jail / Michael Moore Is His Friend

Assange is still being held in Britain because, even though he was granted bail. Sweden will appeal the decision and, they are waiting to complete the appeal process.

In the meantime, back here in the states, "film maker" Michael Moore is getting his fat head in the headlines by proclaiming Assange a hero, and how he wants to help him, ect. You know Assange is a bad guy if Moore is in his corner.

What better show for Moore to go on but, Keith "douchebag" Olbermann.

Olbermann Is So Great, He Tells You Just How Great He Is

Since Olbermann apparently is not receiving too many compliments from those around him, I guess he felt the need to let everyone know what a great reporter he is.

A piece on the Huff Post claims George W. Bush plagiarized parts of his book, "Decision Points." Since the story is weak, and Olbermann is so respectable, he decided not to run the story. Of course, this means he had to let his audience know just how awesome he is for not running to story and, ask the question to his audience, as to whether Fox or CNN would have ran the story...or, something similar. 

Well, CNN did run the story:

Spitzer actually says “News just broke today that several sections of George Bush’s memoir are apparently plagiarized,” and aside from the use of the qualifier “apparently,” neither he nor Parker evinces the slightest bit of skepticism.

Oh, Olbermann, you're just such a great reporter for killing the story. You know what would be even more decent of you? Next time, you might want to just keep these things to yourself. I know it's hard for liberals to do because, they only do nice things or, the right thing in order to brag and get full recognition of those things.

MSNBC Suspends a Republican Host

Wait. A Republican works for MSNBC? Yep, and apparently "Morning Joe" host Joe Scarborough, is being suspended for the same thing that Olbermann was suspended for -- donating to candidates. Oh, the horror!

NEW YORK -- MSNBC said Friday that "Morning Joe" host Joe Scarborough will be suspended for donating to four Republican candidates in local Florida races, two weeks after Keith Olbermann was suspended for making political contributions to Democrats.

Scarborough said he agreed with the two-day suspension, which is the same duration as Olbermann's.

I guess this is their policy but, I think it's sort of stupid. Who cares that reporters have opinions? Just be honest about your bias. The American public is not stupid. I think it's more insulting that they want us to believe they are all being "fair" and non biased.

Jon Stewart - On Keith Olbermann

I know I've been picking on poor Keith lately but, the truth is, I am so sick of his out right lies and slandering. I'm very glad to see that there are many who recognize this.

Having a difference of opinion is fine but, making up facts, slandering people, calling them the "worst person in the world" when all along you're looking down on anyone that doesn't agree with you...that's not news.

Keith just needs to come out and say that he's a commentator, just like Glenn Beck, the guy he's always trying to insult.

Keith attacks Fox News as if they are the worst station ever, and that they are working directly for the RNC but, apparently he misses what MSNBC does.

Keith, if you want to know what a political network looks like, look no further than your place of employment. Quit trying to come off as a news reporter. You're not fooling anyone. Watch the video.

Olbermann is Back With Moore

I really could care less who Olbermann donated to. We all know he's a shrill for the left. It's shows like this-- putting on a known liar, allowing him to carry on and lie, with no questions, no challenges. That is not news so, why does he tell his audience it is a news show?

Fahrenheit 9/11 was proven to be an utter fraud, and a total lie. Michael Moore and his "documentaries" are just like Olbermann and his "news" -- lies. That is exactly why people like this have no place on television. At the same time, having them on tv gives the world proof as to what anti-thinkers on the left are all about.

Keith Olberman is suspended.

(CNN) - Keith Olbermann, MSNBC's primetime firebrand host, has been suspended indefinitely for violating the ethics policies of his employer earlier this year when he donated to three Democrats seeking federal office, MSNBC announced Friday. 

"I became aware of Keith's political contributions late last night. Mindful of NBC News policy and standards, I have suspended him indefinitely without pay," MSNBC President Phil Griffin said in a statement.

First reported by Politico and confirmed by Federal Election Commission filings, the primetime television host gave $2,400 – the maximum individual amount allowed – to each of the campaigns of Kentucky Senate candidate Jack Conway, and Arizona Reps. Raul Grijalva and Gabrielle Giffords. (View PDF's of FEC filings for Conway, Grijalva, and Giffords) 

Conway lost his bid to Republican Rand Paul while Grijalva eked out a win over Tea Party-backed candidate Ruth McClung for a fifth term. Grijalva found himself in an increasingly competitive race after he announced his support of a boycott of Arizona businesses in response to the state's controversial new immigration law and often appeared on Olbermann's show where he found a sympathetic audience. CNN, meanwhile, has yet to declare a winner in Giffords' race, but the Democrat currently holds about a 3,000-vote lead with all precincts reporting.

The contributions may have violated an NBC policy that requires employers of the news organization to obtain permission ahead of any political donations or activities that could be deemed as a conflict of interest. CNN institutes a similar policy.

In a statement to Politico before the suspension was announced, Olbermann defended the contributions:
"One week ago, on the night of Thursday October 28 2010, after a discussion with a friend about the state of politics in Arizona, I donated $2,400 each to the re-election campaigns of Democratic Representatives Raul Grijalva and Gabrielle Giffords," he said in the statement. "I also donated the same amount to the campaign of Democratic Senatorial candidate Jack Conway in Kentucky."

Olbermann, as well as MSNBC executives, was a vocal critic of the $1 million donation by Fox News' parent News Corp. to the Republican Governor's Association earlier this year, saying at the time, "We now have another million reasons Fox News is the Republican news channel."

In a subsequent show, Olbermann also pressed House Majority Whip James Clyburn if there was a "legislative response" to a networks that "starts to shill for partisan causes."

A News Corp. spokesman defended the donation when it was first reported in August.

"News Corporation believes in the power of free markets, and the RGA's pro-business agenda supports our priorities at this most critical time for our economy," the spokesman said.

Olbermann Calling Tea Party Racists

Once I see the name Keith Olbermann, I immediately roll my eyes and tonight/today is no exception. Olbermann is now criticizing an event led by the Tea Party, in Philadelphia, that wanted to focus on involving minorities.

Olbermann -

First, no, this is not your water coming to a boil. It's our nightly checkup on the something for nothing crowd, it's "Tea Time."

As you know, if you point out that the Tea Party is virtually all white, you're the racist. Of course, that does raise the interesting question of why the Tea Party would feel compelled to have what one of its leaders called a minority-based Tea Party event. A score card from the reality Saturday outside Independence Hall in Philadelphia, 18 speakers, 10 of whom were nonwhite. For the Philadelphia Inquirer, an estimated crowd of 300, about 15 of whom were nonwhite. "Not a problem," said African-American speaker David Webb, "I didn't realize that any movement everywhere had a minimum daily requirement of black people to be legitimate."

Except, given the group’s history, the fact that the majority of speakers were not white might easily explain how a low turnout, lower even than most Tea parties. Organizers had 1500 bottles of water already on ice, all ready for the crowd. And most of them went untouched. But it gets worse. According to a series of news reports, another public event in Philadelphia the day before may have drawn anywhere from twice to three times the crowd of the minority-based Tea Party event. The opening of that city's first Apple computer store.

Has Olbermann even been to Philadelphia? He realizes that whites are minorities there, doesn't he? Like Baltimore, it's a black city. They are NOT minorities there. What on earth is this guy even talking about?

Janeane Garofalo Goes Off The Deep End

Janeane Garofalo, seen in this video, further proves herself to be the half witted cretin we all know that she is. To think that I once thought this woman was remotely funny is quite depressing to me. I have no idea what happened to her over the years. She does promote pot smoking so, I’m wondering if it’s the elephantine amount of bong smoke that is clouding her brain.

I can’t even watch this again. It actually made me throw up in mouth a bit to see a person say such hateful ignorant things and then in the same conversation, claim how tolerant she is. The worst part really isn’t even Garofalo, it’s that Keith Olbermann that really steals the show. Here he is, an anchor on a news network, and he’s simply allowing some clown, who as far as I know never went to college but for a year (and not for politics), to just rattle off all sorts of nasty, hateful comment. Never once did this idiot even TRY to challenge her; he just sat there and agreed with her?!?!

It is truly a horrible example of the news media in the United States today but, it’s a must see. It would be one thing if Olbermann just came out and said that his show was for liberals; I would have no problem with that but, to act as if this is some rational show that exposes both sides or, even acts as a program that offers facts to their viewers, is just iniquitous.
