Joy Behar "Jokes" About Romney's House Burning Down

Joy Behar now works for Current TV, owned by Al Gore. In an interview with Mediaite, Joy initially starts talking about her new show and how it will have a similar format to her previous show on HLN. Later she decides to criticize Mitt and his politics, and then jokes about wanting his house to burn down.

BEHAR: I mean, I’d like to see his house burn, one of his millions of houses burning down. It would be kind of cool - the Mormon fire patrol.

Certainly Ms. Behar is entitled to her opinion and she can joke around all she likes. Let's just not kid ourselves over who can makes jokes and who cannot make jokes in this country.

I certainly do not want to make it sound as if those on the right are victims, instead I am doing what many people have done before me and that is pointing out how utterly intolerant liberals are.

The same people that consider themselves the champions of tolerance are the first people to call others bigots, racists, sexists, homophobes, and hate mongers in an effort to shut people up who do not agree with them. Those titles could not be further from the truth in describing those on the right but somehow just by them saying it, in their minds, it makes it true. Rather than give an ounce of effort to understand the right, it is much easier to ignore and belittle those who are conservative.
