New York is NOT about fairness and equality. New York is about the elected officials in Albany living like kings and queens while appointing local city minions in the big five [New York City, Albany, Syracuse, Buffalo, and Rochester] and robbing the working class blind as if they were serfs slopping in pig dung all day. Everyone is leaving the entire state, and it has only been noticed recently because a 10-year Census cycle completed and the state lost two—count them—TWO electoral votes. No remotely affiliated with the New York State government or lower echelons cares about gays, blacks, Hispanics, teachers, any minority beyond their pathetic usefulness on election day.
