Billy Joel Needs Tough Love and Rehab

This is according to Elton John.

He has told Rolling Stone magazine that Joel's alcoholism caused the pair to cancel many tours.

How very sad. I love Billy Joel. I've been a huge fan of his since I was a little girl.

John says he knows Joel is going to "hate" him for this. But he says Joel needs tough love.

Good for Elton John for saying this! I think that's awesome that Joel has a REAL friend that cares about him. Let's hope he listens.
