Michelle Obama -- Struggles With Self Control Like Her Hubby

Well, it seems the media is trying to do yet another spin on things. They would love for the country to believe that our president has self-control, just like Biden. *cough* Obviously they don't quite see things the same way as I do.

Michelle Obama showed her thin-skin when a heckler was bothering her over her husband not signing some crap about gay rights (aka "special rights"), equality.



I don't know what it is about the Obama's but they simply cannot handle criticism. Obama is president and his wife is a public figure. They are expected to keep it together and should be held to a much higher standard! That's their job. I cannot remember any president or first lady that acted in a similar fashion to these clowns. These two, along with Biden are nuts. They literally have NO self-control and for anyone to suggest she handled herself well is simply ludicrous.

I Can't Say Moochelle Has a Fat Butt Anymore?

A recent article published by the Washington Post within the Style section criticizes people who have made fun of poor Michelle and her big butt. I guess its purpose is to make many of us feel guilty for pointing out the obvious since it's cruel and all.

Okay. Point made. No one, especially myself, can suggest that making fun of a person's appearance is not low brow and juvenile. What is missing from the article is a sense of humor. Everyone is made fun of for their appearance. This is not a Republican/Conservative/Liberal/Libertarian/Communist/Socialist thing. It's simply people poking fun at one another.

Seriously. Who here or anywhere hasn't been made fun of for their looks, appearance, clothes, hair, etc? No matter how beautiful a person is to one person, there's always someone else out there waiting to point out that same person's flaws.

No, none of us are going to "win people over" politically by cracking on someone's appearance but, that's not why it's done. Making fun of people this way is about being silly. Is there a democrat out there that hasn't made fun of Chris Christie's fat ass? I know I have!

No, it's not very productive to insult people this way but this is hardly an issue to get too worked up over. People need to lighten up.

The problem isn't so much that Michelle has a horrible body; she's not obese; she doesn't look all that bad but, she does have a few extra pounds and she has a habit of lecturing to everyone else about how they need to eat better. Some people are simply pointing out that maybe Michelle needs to walk the walk before she starts lecturing others on healthy eating habits. If Michelle were Republican no one, and I mean NO ONE would even bother to write about it being mean-spirited or try and make them out to be a victim of mean, childish insults. Instead, they would be writing exactly what I am -- chill out people.

All first ladies have been made fun of. Since the time I was very young, Nancy Reagan was made fun of for her horoscopes; Barbera Bush was repeatedly insulted; Hilary had her canckles; Laura got away fairly clean but definitely not in all situations; so now it's Michelle's turn. Boo fricken hoo.

Yeah, people make fun of her butt and guess what? There are plenty of people out there that like her huge ass. Just think of it like this libs....would you want to listen to Bush lecturing people on how to make a great speech? Would you want Chris Christie to give you information about saturated, unsaturated, and trans fats? How about Ron Paul telling us how to be a moderate? Yeah, I didn't think so.

No, people don't want to hear Michelle preach about healthy foods when we are also hearing about stuff like this: 

First lady Michelle Obama ordered a whopper of a meal at the newly opened Washington diner Shake Shack during lunch on Monday. 

A Washington Post journalist on the scene confirmed the first lady, who’s made a cause out of child nutrition, ordered a ShackBurger, fries, chocolate shake and a Diet Coke while the street and sidewalk in front of the usually-packed Shake Shack were closed by security during her visit. 

According to nutritional information on Shake Shack’s Web site, the meal amounted to 1,700 calories. 

Obama, who launched the “Let’s Move” campaign to combat childhood obesity last year, has previously admitted to having an “obsession with french fries,” which she says are fine to indulge in occasionally. “It’s all about moderation,” Obama told reporters.

According to Politico she is not the worst eater in the world either. So there are both sides to every story. I guess it all depends on what you choose to see or not see. If you like Michelle, you're going to look for the good stuff she eats. If you don't like her, you are going to look for all the bad stuff and hypocrisy.

I was fairly alarmed by the article when I came across this:

For dinner at the amazingly delicious The Majestic in Alexandria, owned by Cathal Armstrong of Restaurant Eve, the first lady had perfectly fried oysters, sharing some deliciously crisp fried green tomatoes that were served with avocado and corn salsa and tomato relish. The hanger steak came with fried onion rings and succotash, followed by strawberry shortcake.

It is astonishing to me that the author seems to casually suggest oysters are considered a healthy-type of food. I cannot think of a more potentially dangerous food to eat. They are filled with toxins since they are bottom feeders. If they are not cooked while still alive, they decompose, leaving a bad taste in your mouth. I won't eat them. I will never eat them. This comes from what I learned in college and despite the crap you find on the internet, oysters are not safe. Just stay away from shellfish.

"Cooking is not preventive, boiling does not destroy the poison," says M. Rosenau in Preventive Medicine and Hygiene, page 826. He says that "the only safe oyster is one which has been protected from contamination with fecal pathogens for at least some months prior to harvesting," (page 822). "Typhoid fever and other intestinal infections (diarrhea, etc.) have been convincingly traced to infected oysters. They may be infected when dredged from sewage-polluted beds in which they live and grow," (page 823). Maybe the Japanese are right: eating raw shellfish is no worse than eating cooked shellfish!

Even the Bible tells you not to eat these foods. Cooked or not, there is too much potential risk. Oh, and YES I am a proud vegetarian -- have been over 10 years. Not only are they not safe, much like pig meat, these animals clean our waters! Pigs, also considered bottom feeders, clean the earth. These animals are specifically designed for a purpose and that does not include eating.

Unclean water creatures lacking fins and scales: scaleless fish (catfish, eel, marlin, shark, sturgeon, turbot), shellfish (abalone, clam, crab, crayfish, lobster, mussel, prawn, oyster, scallop, shrimp), soft body (cuttlefish, jellyfish, limpet, octopus, squid), sea mammals (dolphin, otter, seal, walrus, whale).

Anyway...Michelle is a big girl (LOL!). She can handle her own just like any other first lady before her. Making fun of her, criticizing her, or calling attention to her big ass is funny. So get over people. When a Republican is voted back in the White House after Obama, we'll have another first lady to poke fun at.

Michelle Obama is being called on the carpet for her lies. She stated that Obama stopped smoking a year ago when she recently went on The Today Show. According to this recent article I found, this is not true at all but, a flat out lie.

Well, no sh!t, Sherlock. These are the hard hitting questions of the media. Why would anyone think that the daughters of the president would be on Facebook? Let alone, they are way too young to be on Facebook anyway. Well, one is 9 and the other is 12. So, I guess at 12 I might be able to understand but, 9? No.That's way too young. Plus, it doesn't sound like a wise thing for a president to allow his daughters on Facebook.

Michelle Obama was on the Today Show this morning discussing her diet campaign. To Lauer's credit, he asked her about the menu the White House had during the Super Bowl. Michelle responded very reasonably, explaining that she's talking about an overall moderation but, some days you can eat bad.

Here's the problem. She says one thing in public but, she is working on controlling what restaurants serve in private. Obama does the same thing, he told O'Reilly that he doesn't believe in redistribution of wealth but, that's exactly what he fights for in his office and, later telling corporations that they have to share their profits. So which is it?

Fat-a$$ Michelle ...I mean, the first lady, Michelle Obama is now going to go after America's restaurants. She wants smaller portions and children menus to include healthy foods, not those greasy French fries.

Meanwhile, during the Super Bowl last night, The White House served: bratwurst, kielbasa, cheeseburgers, deep-dish pizza, and buffalo wings.

It appears as though the first lady may have broken the law. I know it's not much of a shocker but, after placing her early vote, while still inside the polling place, she spoke with voters about the importance of Obama having continued support.

She let voters including electrician Dennis Campbell, 56, take some photos.

"She was telling me how important it was to vote to keep her husband's agenda going," Campbell said.

According to a pool reporter from the CHICAGO SUN-TIMES at the scene, the conversation took place INSIDE the voting center, not far from the booths.

Illinois state law -- Sec. 17-29 (a) -- states: "No judge of election, pollwatcher, or other person shall, at any primary or election, do any electioneering or soliciting of votes or engage in any political discussion within any polling place [or] within 100 feet of any polling place."

A top Ilinois State Board of Elections official tells the DRUDGE REPORT that Mrs. Obama -- a Harvard-educated lawyer -- may have simply been ignorant of the law and thus violated it unintentionally.

"You kind of have to drop the standard for the first lady, right?" the official explained late Thursday. "I mean, she's pretty well liked and probably doesn't know what she's doing."

WHITE HOUSE DEFENDS ELECTIONEERING

When questioned about the brazen nature of Mrs. Obama's campaigning, press secretary Robert Gibbs defended the action.

"I don't think it would be much to imagine, the First Lady might support her husband's agenda," Gibbs smiled.

Wow! Talk about brazen. You've got to be kidding me? She didn't know? She's well liked, so it's "okay"? There is nothing to defend here. She broke the law. Not only that but, even an average person like myself has heard for YEARS that ignorance of the law is NO excuse. It doesn't matter if she knew or not.

I find it awfully hard to believe she didn't know. All this time, we've been told how educated she is so, how could she not know something so simple and obvious?

Michelle Obama Most Powerful Woman?

Well according to Forbes magazine, Michelle Obama is the most powerful woman.

This year Forbes changed the way it ranked women, basing the list less on wealth and power and more on creative influence and entrepreneurship.

Well, then I would like for them to explain what is creative about Michelle Obama, because we know she not an entrepreneur.  Unbelievable.

Forbes said Obama topped the list this year because "she has made the office of first lady her own" while remaining popular.

Popular? What are they even talking about? "...made the office of first lady her own"? Is this a joke?

Michelle Obama to Save Our Children From Obesity

Michelle Obama is wanting The Child Nutrition Bill to be passed. The bill is supposed to set new standards and, help school cafeterias, as well as apply standards to what can be sold in vending machines. 

Obesity is one of the biggest health challenges facing the United States. The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention says two-thirds of American adults and 15 percent of children are overweight or obese -- a condition putting them at risk of developing heart disease, diabetes and cancer.

I absolutely agree that there is a epidemic going on in this country when it comes to fat kids. I see them all the time. It's frightening the health problems that these children will mostly like incur. I'm not sure that this bill is going to help much. I suppose I wouldn't have much of a problem just banning vending machines or, at least high fat, high calorie foods sold in vending machines.

It would be nice if more education on health were given during courses like gym. The class is already a requirement. Why not spend some time educating children on the dangers of various foods?

Michelle Obama Get NAACP "All Fired Up"

The NAACP is evidently going to sign some resolution, that will condemn the Tea Party. They are basically saying that...wait for it...it's a total shocker...

I know, I was totally shocked they would even say this. I'm even further shocked that someone like Michelle Obama, who has always shown her tolerance of everyone, would push for the NAACP to proclaim this. [/sarcasm]

Tea Party members have used "racial epithets," have verbally abused black members of Congress and threatened them, and protestors have engaged in "explicitly racist behavior" and "displayed signs and posters intended to degrade people of color generally and President Barack Obama specifically," according to the proposed resolution. 

"We're deeply concerned about elements that are trying to move the country back, trying to reverse progress that we've made," NAACP spokeswoman Leila McDowell told ABC News. "We are asking that the law-abiding members of the Tea Party repudiate those racist elements, that they recognize the historic and present racist elements that are within the Tea Party movement." 

Gee, don't you think the people in the Tea Party would come out and say that they do not support racism? The major problem here? These accusations are completely FALSE! There has been no tapes, video, nothing, that even confirms this crap! You would really have to be completely stupid to be in a crowd and, yell out racial epithets. I mean, come on! Can't these people find something else to do?

We don't like Obama. We could care less what color he was. Why is it always race with these people? It's a complete utter joke but, on the other hand, I could care less. Go ahead and keep making your "racial arguments." They are so old and tired. People everywhere are catching on. Some folks will always be stupid but, the smart people, the ones that are paying attention, they are starting to see through this crap. The NAACP and Michelle are more than welcome to make fools of themselves; that is exactly what they are doing.

According the story, Michelle Obama visited a school and was asked a question by a little girl.

"My mom said … Barack Obama is going to take away everybody that doesn't have papers," one girl told the first lady.

"Yeah, well, that's something that we have to work on, right?" Mrs. Obama replied. "To make sure that people can be here with the right kind of papers, right? That's exactly right."

The girl countered, "But my mom doesn't have any."

"Well, we have to work on that, we have to fix that and everybody's got to work together in Congress to make sure that happens. That's right," Mrs. Obama said before moving on to the next question.

Then, of course the article goes on to say how "heartbreaking" this was. I don't know that I expect much from Michelle Obama. I'm not sure how else she should have handled this but, one thing this story does prove is that we have a huge problem with illegals and, brazen illegals at that.
