Injuries: This photo taken by a Sanford, Florida police officer on February 26, after George Zimmerman shot dead unarmed teen Trayvon Martin, has been released by his defense team
When the story was released almost a year ago now, I immediately jumped on this story because ...well, it was popular, and it was evident that the liberals in this country are still out and about keeping racism alive and well in this country. My initial thought was
Tawana Brawley.
The prosecution witness, Mary Cutcher has been a thorn in my side since she has declared herself an expert in identifying screams and apparently she also believes a man should be convicted based on her "feelings," not what she actually witnessed (I mean didn't witness).
The last few days, more and more information has been available concerning this case. It also appears this information is not exactly being exposed as fast as the original narrative that involves a sweet, little teen being gunned down by a crazed white-Hispanic.
Is the case against Zimmerman falling apart?
Oh, no! I was really counting on Gingrich to win. In short, this sucks. I am not impressed with Gingrich's personal life but he is definitely much more conservative than Romney. At the same time, he is someone that has encouraged Congress to work from the middle.
Mitt Romney crushed Newt Gingrich in the Florida Republican presidential primary Tuesday night, surging from a second-place finish in South Carolina to sweep the winner-take-all contest and reassert his front-runner status.
The victory, in the biggest GOP contest to date, is likely to give the former Massachusetts governor a burst of momentum as he, Gingrich, Rick Santorum and Ron Paul head west to battle in what has become an increasingly negative race.

Bill McCollum, who is the attorney general for the state of Florida wants to go even further than Arizona did when it comes to illegals. This proposal comes about to hopefully help his bid for governor.
"This legislation will provide new enforcement tools for protecting our citizens and will help our state fight the ongoing problem created by illegal immigration," McCollum said, presenting the proposed measures at an event in Orlando.
"Florida will not be a sanctuary state for illegal aliens," added McCollum, accompanied by Representative Will Snyder.
McCollum is proposing an actual requirement for officials to check on immigration status. This is different from AZ, as theirs simply gives them permission to check, it is to be done at the officer's discretion.
It looks like some politicians are listening to the people. This is a good thing! I can't wait to see more people stepping forward and proposing similar measures.
