The door is right behind you,” Mr. Boehner said after winning the speaker’s gavel for the second time. “If you have come here humbled by the opportunity to serve, if you have come here to be the determined voice of the people, if you have come here to carry the standard of leadership demanded not just by our constituents but by the times, then you have come to the right place.”Not everyone is happy with this decision, especially many conservatives.

In the world of absurd:
BELLEVILLE, Ill. (KMOX) – Belleville police chief Bill Clay is ordering his officers to get their pancakes from anywhere but Denny’s, calling the restaurant “political stupidness.”Apparently, some undercover officers were seen with guns that made a patron feel "uncomfortable" and were asked to leave the guns in their vehicles or leave. When the group got up to leave, the general manager, Michael Van attempted to correct this decision but the officers felt it best to just leave at that point.
Denny’s corporate office has released an apology saying, “Denny’s policy permits law enforcement officials to carry their firearms in the restaurant and we regret any misunderstanding.”
Hopefully this statement from the corporate office will help mend this issue but we will have to wait and see. It seems very odd that anyone would have such a problem with this considering the weapons were obviously exposed for others to see, unlike anyone else who could come in with a weapon hidden. As we all know, gun free zones are the most likely place someone will get shot at.
