Live Sex Demonstration at Northwestern University

Are they saying that someone actual showed the use of a sex toy? I'm confused on the description here. What would be the purpose of having someone show a live performance of this? Tell the kids to go online and look at a porn, for goodness sakes. All of them should be at least 18. This is obviously someone who WANTED to stir up controversy. Give me a break! This professor is a disgusting dirt ball.

Emanuel Beats Rivals to Become Next Chicago Mayor

Yep. It happened. It's what we expected.

Former White House chief of staff Rahm Emanuel was elected mayor of Chicago on Tuesday, easily overwhelming five rivals to take the helm of the nation's third-largest city as it prepares to chart a new course without the retiring Richard M. Daley. 

Emanuel trounced all opponents with 55 percent of the vote — a margin that allowed him to avoid an April runoff. He needed more than 50 percent to win outright. 

It was the city's first mayoral race in more than 60 years without an incumbent on the ballot and the first in more than two decades without Daley among the candidates. Daley and his father have led Chicago for more than 43 out of the last 56 years. 

Emanuel called the victory "humbling" and said the outgoing mayor had "earned a special place in our hearts and our history." 

But he added: "We have not won anything until a kid can go to school thinking of their studies and not their safety. Until the parent of that child is thinking about their work and not where they are going to find work, we have not won anything."

Rahm Emanuel Favors Reparations for Slavery

Emanuel agreed with most candidates in supporting reparations for descendants of slavery, but said that all citizens need to keep in mind that the city has a significant budget deficit to tackle.

Watkins, a community activist and one of three African-American candidates, said she was offended by Emanuel's comments because the nation was built "on the backs" of slaves.

Excuse me? Who are these morons that keep talking about slavery reparations? This is utterly absurd. Can you name anyone that was a slave, that's alive today?

Rahm Emanuel On Ballot

The Illinois Supreme Court ruled that Rahm Emanuel can stay on the ballot for Chicago mayor.

"The voters deserved the right to make the choice of who should be mayor. And I think what the Supreme Court said was basically, in short, that the voters will make the decision who should be mayor. Nobody else should make it for them,” a victorious Emanuel said after slapping backs and shaking hands with commuters at the Clark and Lake elevated train stop near his downtown headquarters. “Some will vote for me, some will vote against me and that’ll be true for all the candidates. But that, ultimately, this decision about who should be the next mayor is for the voters to decide.”

Chicago is Closely Watched With Cameras

Chicago, it turns out, has one of the most complete camera coverage, compared to any other city.

With the help of it's cameras, authorities were recently able to determine that Michael Scott, Chicago's school board president, had committed suicide. He was not murdered, as some had speculated. They found that he had drove around but, made no stops and was not following anyone or, being followed.

Obama Was a Professor?

I wanted to make sure I linked this up for everyone. More interesting stuff concerning Obama's time spent in Chicago and being a "professor."

I don't expect my leaders to be perfect. We are all flawed in some way. Everyone I know has made many mistakes in the past but, as long as I've been alive, I don't recall any president getting away with being so vague about their past.

No records, no grades, no proof...why? What is he really hiding? I'm not on the "birther" bandwagon but, certainly there is something odd about all this. Even if you are a hard core democrat who likes him, certainly you can admit that all of these unanswered questions are quite disturbing.

No way a Republican could get away with this.

Newspaper Attack, Two Men Arrested

Two men, living in Chicago, and both from Pakistan were arrested for planning an attack on a Danish newspaper. Click the title for full story.

Headley, a U.S. citizen who changed his name from Daood Gilani in 2006, is charged with conspiracy to commit terrorist acts involving murder and maiming outside the United States. He could be sentenced to life in prison if convicted. He was arrested as he boarded a flight to Philadelphia, the first leg of a trip to Pakistan.

Headley and Rana are each charged with conspiracy to provide material support to a foreign terrorism conspiracy, which carries a maximum sentence of 15 years in prison. Rana, who is a Canadian citizen, was arrested Oct. 18 in his home.

So all because some dumb cartoon was published 2 years ago, these two morons, from the religion of peace, decide they are going to attack the cultural editor and, the cartoonist? Are you kidding me? These idiots don't know that a cartoon is supposed to be funny? What kind of world do you live in where NO ONE is allowed to make fun of you or anything for that matter!
