Perhaps not the most clever title but, leaked documents on Assange, who owns Wikileaks, concerning the sexual assault cases leaked on the internet. It's a case of poetic justice, a true, "how-does-it-feel-a__h*le?" moment.

WikiLeaks Cable Reveals 3 Qataris Associated With Sept 11

So, I wonder how Alex Jones will explain this one. I guess they were paid by George Bush?

A classified U.S. document obtained by the anti-secrecy group WikiLeaks shows three previously undisclosed participants in the September 11, 2001 plot, The Washington Post reported on Tuesday.


The three Qatari men arrived in the United States on August 15, 2001, conducted surveillance of targets and left the country on the eve of the September 11 attacks, according to the leaked U.S. diplomatic cable.

The three men "visited the World Trade Center, the Statue of Liberty, the White House, and various areas in Virginia" before flying on to Los Angeles, according to the leaked document.

Sycophants of the popular WikiLeaks website are seeking revenge by hacking into sites of those who have made efforts to shut down the illegal activities of the WikiLeaks website.

Victims of these attacks include: MasterCard Inc., Visa Inc., Paypal, eBay, and the Swedish prosecutor's office. Their sites servers were overloaded and, thereby customers were unable to load or, view their web pages.

So now everyone who is customer/client of these companies has to suffer because the companies are doing what is asked of them? They are trying to stop illegal activities, by doing the right thing and a bunch of lawless thugs go after the companies by hacking their systems, making everyone else suffer?

You would think that such a righteous group of people would have the decency to handle their anger through more positive, constructive, and legal means. No, instead they act just like the thug they are trying to protect -- Julian Assange.

Assange is currently being held in custody concerning his rape changes. According to many sources, this is just about him not wearing a condom.  Many news sources have made light of the issue, almost mocking the laws of Sweden, claiming that he did nothing wrong.

One woman has reported that he held her down and had sex with her, while the other says he climbed on her and had sex while she was sleeping. I don't know about you but, holding someone down, sounds like rape to me.

Jullian Assange Tells Us He's Just a Messenger

Julian has made another attempt (click title of this post), to plea his case --that he is only a messenger. He talks about how important it is to have a free press, how he's keeping governments clean by airing out all the dirty laundry, ect.

On one hand, I can understand where Julian is coming from but, what he published was still stolen property. Legally, he is not a U.S. citizen so, he cannot be tried for treason.

I understand where he's coming from, to a small degree but, if it's so important that we know everything, then why is he now using further information as a threat to the U.S. government and other governments? What he is saying is that it's only important to know this information, unless he can use it to blackmail governments.

Julian, you can't have it both ways here. Either you are a firm believer in your cause, or you're just another thug trying to stir up trouble and, so far it appears to be the latter.

WikiLeaks Continues to Leak Despite Assest

Even though Julian Assange has been arrested, WikiLeaks promises to continue leaking cables. The question is whether the "poison pill" will be released, now that Assange is behind bars, no bail.

His crime, according to reports, is that he did not use a condom during two different, consensual, sexual encounters. He is being charged with rape and molestation.

On Tuesday evening, "the latest batch of cables were released, and our media partners released their next batch of stories," Hrafnsson said. "We will not be gagged, either by judicial action or corporate censorship. ... Wikileaks is still online. The full site is duplicated in more than 500 locations. Every day, the cables are loaded more than 50 million times."

The latest cables cover the details of British-Libyan relations in the run-up to the release of convicted Lockerbie bomber Abdel Baset Ali al-Megrahi, a sensitive subject that roiled relations between Washington and London. Another cable describes, in detail, the eccentricities of Libya's Moammar Gadhafi, while the WikiLeaks website also details an underground Halloween party — complete with moonshine, top-shelf liquor and prostitutes — thrown by a wealthy Saudi prince in the city of Jeddah.

Assange Arrest

Assange of WikiLeaks has been arrested. Finally. British police arrested him over the sexual assault claims in Sweden. 

Two women in Sweden have claimed they were sexually attacked when Mr Assange visited the country in August.

Sky News' foreign affairs editor Tim Marshall said: "Mr Assange had sex with the two women on August the 15th and 17th but two days later they both went to a police station and claimed one rape and one sexual molestation.

"Mr Assange admits he had consensual sex with the women but he absolutely denies these charges."

WikiLeaks Assange to Meet With British Authorities

Assange's lawyer, Mark Stephens, says that he Julian will meet with British police, concerning the rape charges that he is facing in Sweden.

In other news concerning Assange and WikiLeaks:

In one of its most explosive leaks of US secrets so far, WikiLeaks on Monday divulged a list of key infrastructure sites around the world that, if attacked by terrorists, could critically harm US security.

The website released a State Department cable from February 2009 asking US missions to update a list of infrastructure and key resources whose loss "could critically impact" the country's public health, economic life and national security.

The list detailed undersea cables, key communications, ports, mineral resources and firms of strategic importance in countries ranging from Britain to New Zealand, via Africa, the Middle East and China.

Also listed were European manufacturers of vaccines for smallpox and rabies, an Italian maker of treatment for snake-bite venom, and a German company making treatment for plutonium poisoning.

In addition to all of these things, WikiLeaks is having difficulty staying online. They have been dropped from various servers and pressure from all around is growing to remove them completely. Of course, I'm not sure how they will completely get rid of them, since there are a growing number of mirror sites that are out there.

"I will underscore that this theft of US government information and its publication without regard for the consequences is deeply distressing," Clinton told reporters.

"The illegal publication of classified information poses real concerns and even potential damage to our friends and partners" worldwide, she warned.

Among its latest revelations:

-- the US has faced an uphill battle in trying to prevent arms from reaching the likes of Iran, Syria and North Korea. In one cable, Syrian President Bashar al-Assad is reprimanded for supplying sophisticated weapons to the Shiite militant group Hezbollah one week after providing assurances he would not;

-- European Union President Herman Van Rompuy told a US ambassador that Europe no longer believed in Afghanistan and that 2010 may be the last chance for success;

-- France and the United States have been cooperating more closely for a year in the fight against an Al-Qaeda unit in north Africa.

Of course, we all know that he has recently threatened he will release more damaging information, if the U.S. continues to cave in on him.

WikiLeaks Founder Now Turns Threatening

Wikileaks founder Julian Assange has circulated an encrypted "poison pill" of uncensored documents, and will release them if he's arrested.

Now Assange is making full on threats, warning that if any government tries to bring him down, he will release damaging information.

Assange warned: “We have over a long period of time distributed encrypted backups of material we have yet to release. All we have to do is release the password to that material, and it is instantly available.”

The “doomsday files” are part of a contingency plan drawn up by Assange and his supporters as they face a legal threat. He is wanted in Sweden over sexual assault allegations, and the US is reviewing the possibility of legal action after the release of 250,000 diplomatic cables.

He's making threats? Doesn't that make him a terrorist? I say we put him on the enemy combatant list.  This man has become a dangerous person to this country.

His whole purpose for releasing information was to suggest that the government should not hold secrets but, I guess it's okay to hold secrets if you can use them for blackmail purposes?

WikiLeaks Forced to Change Domain Name

WikiLeaks was forced to move over to a Swiss server but, not even it's domain name had to be changed to  wikileaks.ch.

"Wikileaks.org has become the target of multiple distributed denial of service attacks. These attacks have, and future attacks would, threaten the stability of the EveryDNS.net infrastructure," EveryDNS said in a statement.

Julian Assange Hiding Out in Britian

Julian Assange is hanging out in Britain and avoiding authorities. ***My apologies for previous posts. I apparently forgot the "n" in his name. ****

According to the article, Swedish authorities made some mistake on their paperwork, concerning the rape charges against him so, even though Britain knows where he is, they have not acted on the warrant for his arrest. 

On Wed, WikiLeaks was down because, Amazon pulled them from their server. They had to move over to their original Swedish host Bahnhof.

Assange also called for Hilary Clinton to step down. More cables are expected to be released.

Well, pretty much every story I am finding today in the news revolves around the leaked documents from WikiLeaks. I'm not sure what to think about this. While I would like to know what the government is doing, I also want certain types of information out of the hands of some people.

We elect people to decide what information it is we need to know. We can't just have panic over every little thing. We also cannot drown ourselves in these details without ample context of the circumstance regarding the documentation.

In this case, I'm not sure there is much of a shock here. Apparently, it's confirmed that Iran is a stick in everyone's spine, even those in the Middle East.

But the seismic document spill by WikiLeaks showed one area of profound agreement -- that Iran is viewed in the Middle East as the region's No. 1 troublemaker.

Gulf nation leaders were known to dislike the Iranian regime and its nuclear program but rarely made those sentiments known publicly. The leaked cables and communications, though, show those officials talking about Iran with a degree of disdain and worry more commonly found among the Israelis.

According to the documents, Saudi King Abdullah frequently urged the United States to destroy Iran's nuclear facilities, to "cut off the head of the snake." According to the Guardian, he warned that Iran's program could trigger a nuclear arms race in the region.

King Hamad bin Isa al-Khalifa of Bahrain and Jordanian lawmaker Zeid Rifai separately expressed similar concerns. Rifai told a U.S. official to "bomb Iran, or live with an Iranian bomb," warning that sanctions would not matter, according to the Guardian. Abu Dhabi crown prince Sheikh Mohammad bin Zayed fretted that Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad "is going to take us to war."

Rep. Pete Hoekstra, R-Mich., ranking Republican on the House intelligence committee, called the leak a "colossal failure" with respect to the intelligence community.

"This database should never have been created. Hundreds of thousands of people should not have been provided access to it. This is a colossal failure by our intel community, by our Department of Defense to keep classified information secret," he said on ABC.

Thoughts? The young man that has been said to leak these documents...hero or criminal? What should happen to him?

Wikileaks -- Again --Damage Control to Follow

Pfc. Bradley Manning is accused of leaking diplomatic cables and other classified documents to WikiLeaks.

Wikileaks has obtained some damaging cables and will be releasing them. The information includes:

¶ A dangerous standoff with Pakistan over nuclear fuel: Since 2007, the United States has mounted a highly secret effort, so far unsuccessful, to remove from a Pakistani research reactor highly enriched uranium that American officials fear could be diverted for use in an illicit nuclear device. In May 2009, Ambassador Anne W. Patterson reported that Pakistan was refusing to schedule a visit by American technical experts because, as a Pakistani official said, “if the local media got word of the fuel removal, ‘they certainly would portray it as the United States taking Pakistan’s nuclear weapons,’ he argued.”

¶ Thinking about an eventual collapse of North Korea: American and South Korean officials have discussed the prospects for a unified Korea, should the North’s economic troubles and political transition lead the state to implode. The South Koreans even considered commercial inducements to China, according to the American ambassador to Seoul. She told Washington in February that South Korean officials believe that the right business deals would “help salve” China’s “concerns about living with a reunified Korea” that is in a “benign alliance” with the United States.

¶ Bargaining to empty the Guantánamo Bay prison: When American diplomats pressed other countries to resettle detainees, they became reluctant players in a State Department version of “Let’s Make a Deal.” Slovenia was told to take a prisoner if it wanted to meet with President Obama, while the island nation of Kiribati was offered incentives worth millions of dollars to take in Chinese Muslim detainees, cables from diplomats recounted. The Americans, meanwhile, suggested that accepting more prisoners would be “a low-cost way for Belgium to attain prominence in Europe.”

¶ Suspicions of corruption in the Afghan government: When Afghanistan’s vice president visited the United Arab Emirates last year, local authorities working with the Drug Enforcement Administration discovered that he was carrying $52 million in cash. With wry understatement, a cable from the American Embassy in Kabul called the money “a significant amount” that the official, Ahmed Zia Massoud, “was ultimately allowed to keep without revealing the money’s origin or destination.” (Mr. Massoud denies taking any money out of Afghanistan.)

¶ A global computer hacking effort: China’s Politburo directed the intrusion into Google’s computer systems in that country, a Chinese contact told the American Embassy in Beijing in January, one cable reported. The Google hacking was part of a coordinated campaign of computer sabotage carried out by government operatives, private security experts and Internet outlaws recruited by the Chinese government. They have broken into American government computers and those of Western allies, the Dalai Lama and American businesses since 2002, cables said.

¶ Mixed records against terrorism: Saudi donors remain the chief financiers of Sunni militant groups like Al Qaeda, and the tiny Persian Gulf state of Qatar, a generous host to the American military for years, was the “worst in the region” in counterterrorism efforts, according to a State Department cable last December. Qatar’s security service was “hesitant to act against known terrorists out of concern for appearing to be aligned with the U.S. and provoking reprisals,” the cable said.

 ¶ An intriguing alliance: American diplomats in Rome reported in 2009 on what their Italian contacts described as an extraordinarily close relationship between Vladimir V. Putin, the Russian prime minister, and Silvio Berlusconi, the Italian prime minister and business magnate, including “lavish gifts,” lucrative energy contracts and a “shadowy” Russian-speaking Italian go-between. They wrote that Mr. Berlusconi “appears increasingly to be the mouthpiece of Putin” in Europe. The diplomats also noted that while Mr. Putin enjoyed supremacy over all other public figures in Russia, he was undermined by an unmanageable bureaucracy that often ignored his edicts.

¶ Arms deliveries to militants: Cables describe the United States’ failing struggle to prevent Syria from supplying arms to Hezbollah in Lebanon, which has amassed a huge stockpile since its 2006 war with Israel. One week after President Bashar al-Assad promised a top State Department official that he would not send “new” arms to Hezbollah, the United States complained that it had information that Syria was providing increasingly sophisticated weapons to the group.

¶ Clashes with Europe over human rights: American officials sharply warned Germany in 2007 not to enforce arrest warrants for Central Intelligence Agency officers involved in a bungled operation in which an innocent German citizen with the same name as a suspected militant was mistakenly kidnapped and held for months in Afghanistan. A senior American diplomat told a German official “that our intention was not to threaten Germany, but rather to urge that the German government weigh carefully at every step of the way the implications for relations with the U.S.”

Secret Documents Reveal More Iraqi Deaths

WikiLeaks will not release the origin of where these recent "secret" Iraq war documents came from but, in them include information about 15,000 more deaths of Iraqi's than originally accounted for.

In 2006 and 2007, the Bush administration and military commanders often played down the extent of civilian carnage from revenge killings, blood feuds and mob-style violence in Iraq, much of which had no direct effect on U.S. forces.

Well, we're at war. Of course Bush and others would play this down. They had to with all the criticism they were receiving. It's their job to protect our troops. This is war.

At a news conference in London on Saturday, WikiLeaks said it would soon publish 15,000 additional secret Afghan war documents. The group has published some 77,000 U.S. intelligence reports about the war in Afghanistan in addition to the almost 400,000 alleged secret U.S. documents about the Iraq war.

Allegations of torture and brutality by Shiite-dominated security forces — mostly against Sunni prisoners — were widely reported during the most violent years of the war, when the rival Islamic sects turned on one another in Baghdad and other cities. The leaked documents provide a ground's-eye view of abuses as reported by U.S. military personnel to their superiors and appear to corroborate much of the past reporting on such incidents.

I'm not sure what the consequences will be by releasing these documents. The enemy may use them as propaganda. The media will just continue to do the same thing they've been doing, using this to slam Bush, I'm sure.

WikiLeaks "Major" Announcement in Europe

WikiLeaks posted on their Twitter account that they are planning a major press conference in Europe.

The website is close to releasing more war documents concerning the Iraq war. So, apparently, these two events are related.

That previous leak, back in July, outraged the US military, which accused WikiLeaks of irresponsibility.

But The Associated Press has obtained a Pentagon letter reporting that no U.S. intelligence sources or practices were compromised by the posting of secret Afghan war logs.

Although U.S. officials still think the leaks could cause significant damage to U.S. security interests, the assessment suggests that some of the administration's worst fears about the July disclosure have so far failed to materialize.

WikiLeaks to Leak Again

More documents are set to leak on the Wikileaks site concerning the war in Iraq. A 120-member team set up by the Pentagon has been assigned to review up to 500,000 documents that are ready to be leaked this month.

It was the largest security breach of its kind in U.S. military history.

It is being reported that these documents will bring up the very famous Abu Ghraib prison scandal.

At the time of the Afghan war leak, the top U.S. military officer, Admiral Mike Mullen, warned that WikiLeaks may have the blood of U.S. soldiers and Afghan civilians on its hands because it had leaked documents naming U.S. collaborators.

Execute WikiLeaker Whistleblower

Republican Rep. Mike Rogers, from Michigan, has stated that, if Pvt. Bradley Manning is found guilty, the punishment should be death.

"We know for a fact that people will likely be killed because of this information being disclosed," he told Michigan-based WHMI. "That's pretty serious. If they don't charge him with treason, they ought to charge him with murder.

Yes, the punishment for treason is death penalty. He continued:

"I argue the death penalty clearly should be considered here," he said. "He clearly aided the enemy to what may result in the death of U.S. soldiers . . . If that is not a capital offense, I don't know what is."

 Currently Manning is being held and faces several charges.

WikiLeaks Documents Evidence of War Crimes

WikiLeaks has posted 91,000 pages of military records. The documents were leaked and, apparently show evidence of war crimes.

The White House, Britain and Pakistan have all condemned the documents' release.
