Norah O'Donnell - You Be The Judge

CBS' Norah O'Donnell is the current focus of the latest media bias story. In her exchange with Jay Carey, she seems to be talking from her personal point of view. Others have pointed out that she had stated prior that she was speaking on behalf of democrats.

O’Donnell: You talk about two weeks ago. Two weeks ago the president talked a lot about shared sacrifice. He talked about ending subsidies for oil companies. He talked about ending tax breaks for corporate jet owners. He talked about that this was a very fair deal, where he was offering 3-to-1 spending cuts (inaudible) tax revenues. Where are the tax revenues? 

Carney: Well, Norah, I think we just addressed this, but I’ll be happy to do it again. We did not get the grand bargain up front. And we all know why, OK? There were, as the speaker himself said, $800 billion on the table in revenue as part of a grand bargain. There were tough choices made by both sides in that potential agreement that was not reached. O’Donnell: …Democrats saying he gave them everything they wanted and we got nothing.

So you be the judge...is this something conservatives should be worried about and pointing out? I think it's just one of many examples of the liberal media bias. We know these people reporting the news are mostly liberal and they got their jobs because they are liberal. I'm not sure this particular quote is something we need to hang on though. I think there are much better examples that blatantly expose the media as bias.
